Trouble begins

"On the last day of the event.."

"That's your only chance."

_________

We've been getting by so far.

No real complications. Of course, almost lost on multiple occasions, but hey, we're not perfect, are we?

The room we were in was tense.

It's the finals, and anything could happen not to mention, both I and Gabriel still feel drained from that day, The constant gaming only made it worse and worse.

"NEXT UP!! TEAM HARU!!"

The crowd went wild and the sounds of our names once again.

Tired but not beaten we walked out of our rooms and onto the stage where we saw a boy with orange, windswept hair and blue, cat-like eyes.

His smile was more of a smirk.

I already hated his guts.

His teammates looked more humbled, but I doubt they were any joke.

One of them was a boy. He had a bandage on their right arm and dark purple hair that curled out the closer it was to his face.

The next was a girl with long blue hair and yellow eyes.

She looked genuinely happy to be here, jumping around from excitement.

She looked like the kind of person who, if she lost here and now. She wouldn't even mind because she made it this far.

We waited until the commentator gave the word and we started to boot up the game.

_______

what exactly are we looking for?" Jerry asked.

They were backstage "On the last day of the event.."

"That's your only chance."

what exactly are we looking for?" Jerry asked.

They were backstage, Looking for whatever information they can use to help them.

"We're looking for something that can help us find their provider," Tom said as he kept looking but no matter how hard they looked they both didn't find anything,.

"Hey, Tom!" Jerry called out.

Tom followed Jerry's voice to find himself in an office room with a lot of stacked papers.

Jerry was looking through a box full of them.

"Take a look at one of these." He said, handing Tom one of the papers.

It was a paper showing all of the expenses for this tournament including the prize.

"Any lead on where this came from?" Tom asked.

"Allen Ford, but that could be an alias," Jerry responded as he kept looking.

"Let's take it with us anyway. We need all the help we can get." Tom started to leave looking for more information but was stopped by a tall, tanned skin man with black hair and blue eyes.

Next to him were two workers who just stood there waiting on his instructions.

"You're not taking nothing nowhere." He said.

Before Tom or Jerry could respond, he snapped his fingers, and instantly the workers grabbed them and restrained them to the ground.

"Oh," Angah started.

"Don't worry about your friends. They'll be with you shortly."

He left the room, leaving Tom wondering and scared for them.

_________

So far it has been a pretty close game.

With the score being 2-1 we were neck a neck.

It was down to me and Miya to fight off the guy with orange hair and the girl with blue.

[forest terrain]

It was hard to; really see in the forest. Plants blocked our view, and mobility was limited.

We heard footsteps coming our way and kept our guard up but..even still...

That wasn't enough-

"MIKU HAS BEEN ELIMINATED!!"

"Ha! Is this what you call the greatest gamer in the world??" The guy taunted us.

Miya silently took off her headset and watched the rest of the game in worry.

"It's all up to you now." Oli reminded me.

Ok so, now it's two against one...

"Yeah, we're gonna lose.." I said.
