I'm Ruth.

Leo had been in a horrid mood since he met Bain.What Bain told him made his blood boil and he racked his brains looking for ways to keep Gwen away from that guy. He was only going to hurt her.

It was getting pretty late so he was getting ready to close up. He was turning off the lights when a strong scent evaded his senses. It smelt like Arabian spices. It was sweet yet intoxicating. He slowly turned around and found a green eyed lady before him. Her dark hair and her milky skin contrasted and when he smiled , her face was like an art piece.

" I'm sorry. We're closed. Come tomorrow. " Leo walked past her but she held his hand. He was momentarily surprised when she forcefully spun him round. Some of Leo's employees were still around and they murmured to each other about the scene they were witnessing.

" You're beautiful. " Her green eyes had a glint and her blood red lips curved into a dirty smile.

Her gaze went all over him. His hair was dark brown and curly and it covered part of his face .He had a sharp nose bridge but his face had delicate features. His eyes were a light shade of brown and they showed his emotions and right now she could see how angry he was but she didn't mind. She found him interesting. He was tall and we'll built and she could see his muscles through his shirt and thoughts of taking it off came to her.

" Thank you for the compliment. " Leo took his arm from her. " We're closed. " He gestured to the entrance door with his head , his eyes never left hers and she liked this. " And that's our door...Now leave."

" You have quite the temper , don't you ?" She narrowed her gaze and smiled. " But... I'm very insistent and I don't stop till I get what I want."

She walked around with her arms at her back as she studied the pictures on the wall. They were nice...but then she frowned when she saw a giant picture hanged at the centre. He was hugging a woman and they looked very cozy together. He had his arms around her and his smile was so bright it'd light up the room. She focused her attention on the woman. She looked familiar.

" Gwen ? " She said it out loud and Leo heard her.

" How do you know her?"

" I met her by chance once. " She saw his eyes light up when he spoke about her. " Who is she to you ? "

"The most important person in my life."

He was silent for a second then he looked angry again. " Would you like to leave or should I leave you in here ? "

He was headed for the door and he began to shut it and Ruth had to run out before he locked her in. Despite her pride , she was afraid of the dark.

" Are you always this rude or is it just today ? " She was breathing deeply from the brief running she'd done. Man , she needed to work out more! She probably looked stupid getting tired from running such a short distance.

" I'm only rude to the people I feel won't be necessary in my life. " He shut the door .

" Get home early." He waved at Chris , one of his employees, and walked out. Ruth kept following him until he got to his car. He spun round and it caught her by surprise when he grabbed her and slammed her against his car and leaned in . She held her breath in anticipation. She knew no man could resist her and neither could this beautiful man. She perked her lips and and waited for him to kiss her. He leaned in and his nose brushed past her cheek and her face burned.

" Kiss me...I know you want to. " She smiled.His warm breath was in her ear and her heart trembled.

" I don't know which asylum you broke out of but if you don't stay away from me...I might just lose my temper...for real. " His voice was low and threatening.

He moved her from his car and got in. He glared at her before starting his car. Ruth was standing still with her mouth open and when she saw his car start to move , she screamed for him to stop.

" I'm Ruth ! " She yelled after his car. She watched it vanish in the distance with a confused smile. She'd been rejected for the first time in life but it felt... amazing.

Leo watched her from the side mirror and shook his head.

" Crazy people. "

Then he heard her yell. ' I'm Ruth! '

" Ruth. " He felt angry just saying her name but he said it again.

" Ruth..."
