Am I Not Handsome?

Things never go as you plan. I thought I would be finally free from the Qin family's clutches but I was wrong.

Qin Feng invited me. I don't know what's going on in the heads of these people. Can't they let me live. What do they want from me?

I can understand that maybe they don't have any bad intention. But I can't do this. I don't want to be in close proximity with him. But what can I even do.

I dress in the worst outfit I own, which still looks a little appropriate.

"Ugh! Anyways, this still looks a little bad I guess."

It would be fine if they would think that I am not good and would leave the idea of setting up me and Qin Feng together.

I hail a cab as I don't feel like driving, and reach the Qin Family's villa.

I tried my best to be a little late, but he didn't specified the time, so they won't blame me.

I made it through the dinner with Grandpa Qin's and BaiBai's various attempts at hinting me. I don't know what they trying to do.

They kept asking questions like, Are you single? Our Qin Feng is also single.

He never had a girlfriend. His employees especially girls are afraid to even approach him.

I never knew that it was something to boast. And who won't be afraid of him, if he acts like that.

If someone who don't know him will talk to him they will think that he is very rude. Not that I know him. Maybe I do. I don't know. It's frustrating, and it will be more so if everything continued like now.

Poor me, I just kept on nodding to everything they said.

It looked as if they were selling him out. I mean they literally told me about all his qualities, how intelligent he is and blah blah. And the worst thing is that I believe them. Who would have been able to control a company at such a young age otherwise?

It just looks very easy on the surface, but only the person who is in that position will be able to tell how hard it is. Even new business goes bankrupt, if they are not managed well.

I don't even know how he put up with all this pressure.

After dinner, I tried to leave as soon as possible, and as usual they made Qin Feng drive me home.

I mean they didn't even tried to hide their intentions. It was all over their faces. This pair of Grandfather and his granddaughter. How can they collude against me like that?

Unlike previous times I don't start a conversation, and as everyone on this planet knows Qin Feng will never do that.

Chill Folks, he is just allergic to it.

We reached home and I don't know what to do now.

I invited him for a cup of coffee out of politeness, and he agreed. Who was the person who was disgusted by my porridge? Even when he was in a bad condition. And now you are telling me that he agreed just like that. Why he doesn't play by rules at all. I will go insane at this rate.

Things are changing between us. It's wrong because I don't hate it. And I don't know whether he would ever feel the same.

My doorbell rang when I was making coffee.

Qian Fan was standing with Daiyu, and it completely left my mind that he would be coming today.

Qian Fan informed me beforehand that he will be dropping Daiyu for a few days as the couple is going on a vacation. He doesn't come inside as he have a flight early morning tomorrow. And for once I don't request him because he will only ask more question, and would complicate things.

He don't doubt me as He is in hurry.

"Hello my dear Aunt." Daiyu said sweetly.

"Hello Sweetie. Did you miss me?" I ask as I carry her inside.

Now I have to fret over how they both will interact with each other.

I don't know if he likes kids or not, but if he doesn't then it's his problem. He can get out of my house. I would appreciate it very much.

"This is Daiyu, daughter of my colleague." I turned to Daiyu and told her "And this is Uncle Qin Feng. Be good to him okay."

I was waiting for him to say something, but nothing came.

"Baby I was making some coffee earlier, do you want a milkshake?"

Daiyu started jumping excitedly at the mention of milkshake. Before I could proceed to the kitchen she pulled the hem of my blouse and asked softly "Why this uncle is so quiet. Does he not like YuYu?"

I looked at Qin Feng, and his face was a little awkward. I think he would have been quiet if he didn't liked her.

"It's not like that. He doesn't talk very much, and even he is afraid that YuYu won't like him." I explain to her.

"Why would I not like him?" She asked innocently.

"Just like how you thought that he don't like you."

Well that did not even made sense to me, but I know for sure that Daiyu would drop the topic. She would never admit that she said that first.

She left my clothes and made me turn towards the kitchen.

She then said like a little adult "You go and make coffee, I will handle from here."

Now I want to see, how she will handle him.

"What do you do?" She asked him.

I could still hear their conversation from the kitchen.

"I run a company." Qin Feng replied.

I wanted to tell Daiyu that this is very impressive. He did not even talked to me that nicely when we first met.

"Oh, my mother was also thinking about opening a company, but she told me that it is very tiring and she won't be able to spend time with me."

Well, I wasn't aware that Song Ci wanted to start a company. I will ask about it later.

"Do you get very tired?" She asked.

"Not that much." Qin Feng replied.

For a moment I felt that he is being interviewed by her, and it is quite funny.

I came out of the kitchen and saw Daiyu sitting with her legs crossed. She looked cute.

I handed her, her milkshake and Qin Feng his coffee.

I swear I will kill him if he commented something about my coffee.

"Do you like coffee?" She asked Qin Feng.

"Yes." He replies and I realize that he is enjoying her company.

"Do you?" he asks her back.

I almost laugh out loud hearing his question, because he wants to keep the conversation going so he asked her that.

"I tried once but it's so bitter." Daiyu scrunched up her nose and made a cute expression telling him how terrible coffee tastes. No matter what she do, she'll always look adorable.

"I don't know how you adults can drink such bitter things. Aunt LiLi even said that it helps her when she is working and when she have headache. If I were to drink it, it will cause me headache instead."

She said after a pause "My milkshake is best."

"Oh."

He is lost for words, which he is always. And I want to laugh so hard.

Daiyu is not affected by his lack of response, since she is already aware that he talks less.

Why she is so smart?

"What do you usually eat?" She asked all of a sudden.

Not chicken porridge definitely.

"Why are you asking him that?" I ask Daiyu. As much as I am enjoying this interaction, he is still my guest. I have to make sure that she doesn't ask something ridiculous.

"I mean he is so handsome and tall."

I choked on my coffee. Daiyu patted my back with her small hands, and Qin Feng helped me with a glass of water.

He's staring at me intensely, and I don't know what he is thinking.

"What?" I ask after calming myself down. In my defense I didn't saw that coming.

"You think I am not handsome?" He asked me.

What kind of question was that?

I looked at Daiyu, hoping that she would save me. But this traitor ignored me. COMPLETELY.

I will see her later. Is she thinking she can get away by doing this? No way. I always took her side in front of her parents. We suffered their PDA together, and now she is betraying me, I will not forgive her for this.

"When did I said that?" Hell no way I am going to admit you are handsome in front of you, ok.

"Why did you choked then?" He asked.

I was not aware that this guy wanted to hear someone praise him that much.

"Because the coffee was hot." I come up with an excuse.

I know he won't be pressing the matter, because he is like that.
