Ch. 34 Dick in a Box

Traveling through the jungle whilst listening to music from the system I occasionally check the forum to see what people are talking about whilst looking for water... gotta find water to fine an island right? By the way... This castle is huge... How they built a whole jungle in a castle I'll never know... I'm assuming we are underground right now and I just missed the lowed elevation or... The ground became higher and I've just gone forward... I mean we are in a valley it's not that absurd to think the giant castle has it's foundation built on uneven grounds... It took three hours to find water and when I did I was seriously frightened for a second... What the actual fuck is wrong with these game designers... Looking out of the waters that seem to be covered with steam I decide to check to make sure I'm not freaking out over nothing and grab a nearby branch from a tree and toss it into the water near enough to see it through the gas in the air... It's immediately dissolved... Yep... Acid lake... Ok... so not exactly what I was looking for but maybe that's why the island is so lonely? Lol...

Looking around for awhile I discover a small beach... Perfect to go for a nice suntan in acid fog and then a bath in the acid waters... At least the acid fog won't kill you instantly the waters will though no hope there... Which is why the sand is such a welcome sight... Sand is a perfect way to get across the water I just need to get naked cover my self in tar roll in the sand and fuck myself with a cantaloupe... Or... Glass boat... I'm sorry... But what the fuck was I thinking about a second before the glass boat again? Something like build a furnace and cook up some glass I do believe... That or... Sandcastle lightning strike? Hmm... Idk plans are difficult... I definitely need to do one of them... Let's first check for a cantaloupe... Nope... No melons of any kind... On so... That idea is out of the question... Also it seems it would solve nothing and make my ass quite sour... I don't even know why it was on the table... After gathering a ton of sand and whores I fuck the sand and construct the whores into a general boat shape... I'm sorry what the fuck am I talking about again... Sand in boat shape... Yes... K... No whores... No people at all... Just the wolf on my shoulder... Oh... Oh yeah... She should be max level by now... Pulling up her status to check I leave behind my weird thoughts...

Accept? Refuse?*

Marveling at the increase in stats that is nothing like my own... I can't help but sigh... My ten across the board and twelve in health has barely changed since I got it... And now this little wolf girl is almost stronger then me despite having a smaller foundation... I granted battle pets and players function on totally different rules but the difference in our statuses just makes it so annoying... I mean sure people with lower stats at about 100ish in all their foundational stats tend to get stats in the thousands across the board on their first 10 levels... and then get into the hundred thousand then millions by the time they get to level 25... at which point it gets pretty normal...

<- Between 1 and 10 the levels are added by adding one... Between 11 and 20 it's times 2 for 11 then that value added each time. Multiple the original value by 20 add the original value 10 = 210... Then it's best to just add 0s on to the number between 21 and 25... 5 zeros to be exact... Mc will have 21million stat points then... This is why level 25 is where another growth quest occurs... And at level 50... It's a stat nerf... For statistical nerds... The stat growth gets less crazy after level 25 and even slower after level 50. It's just for the big numbers going up value that games often do to make you feel like you've accomplished something it's also the reason the mcs stats get converted... 21million times 10000 is 210000000000... Numbers shouldn't get to large or they lose value...->

After building my little sand force boat I used all my electric mana to make a lightning bolt then all my regular mana on top of that whilst standing atop a tree and throwing it downwards... All the while ignoring Felis who had returned to the unsummoned state to evolve. She shouldn't reach her bottleneck until level 100 as she's already got master level beast techniques... At which point she will likely get stuck for a very long time... The level 100 bottleneck is insanely difficult to pass many players just consider level 100 to be the cap level it's so hard... In fact many players never get past level 80 in their lifetimes... Not because it gets hard or there's a bottleneck quest just that they get bored or settle down or some even die. If you level fast enough getting master level 100 in your main weapon skill and level 100 in your character skill is unlikely before you reach your 30s and that's even with absolute focus on the game and progressing. If you aren't a hardcore player it's next to impossible to do it before 50... if you have a faith in the game it's unlikely to do it before 80... people usually don't join faiths if they wish to progress though... Faith players are players who want an easy life and don't care much about getting to the sky continent. No one even knows what's up there so it's not that much of a desperate race... Just a few small groups of the hundred billion or so humans that will die of old age living in the regular continent... As for the small groups a hundred out of that hundred billion reaching the sky continent is unlikely... It's been three whole generations since the start of the game and those statistics are old... Most people from the first two generations are long dead... After all by generation they usually mean a thousand years... Some people actually lived half that in the last generation it's predicted that in two more generations people may be able to live to the next generation in large numbers... Which is mostly because science never stopped... New ways to extend the lifespan of people are invented everyday by scientists who also live in the game. They also work on extending the food production to support a theoretical trillion humans and the pods/pod storage. New pods and better storage is added every once in awhile. The old ones are recycled and the pods are refreshed by the ai. So nothing really goes down with us... Oh yeah I threw a lightning ball at sand... Yeah that went on you expected it to... Big cloud of sand very little glass dumb approach doesn't equal success in this instance... After that attempt I started working on a different idea which was basically a bowel... Not of sand but of earth or something to stop the sand so that when the bolt strikes the sand it gets heated and compressed against the bowel... It took me about a hour to design it and attempt it and it worked pretty well... After that I shave down the excess glass to make it thinner then make another exact copy of it and stick them together after three hours to manage to make three glass bands that bind them then an air vent... I don't mind the gas cause I can survive but I'd like to avoid a sudden splash killing me... Then I started working on the motor... Well motor is a stretch it's a enchanted air blower of sorts to push the boat forward along with two pointed left and right to turn then another two going different directions the biggest issue is sealing myself inside the boat... Which is clearly impossible so I gotta make the vent a port hole of sorts... I doubt water will splash that high but to play safe I make sure the vent/porthole is closeable... With a bit of enchanting and a literal cork made of glass... On a moving arm it will be slightly out of place only needing a push to keep it in place... then comes the most important issue... the possibility of acidlike creatures at the bottom of the water... Luckily for me glass is by it's very nature a very hard substance as long as you don't attempt to bend it, it should be fine... So I start by pointing many support joints out of wood on the inside so that any impact would be unlikely to shatter my boat... After a good day of work my boat is ready... so I pushed it out to the lake before climbing in and giving the final push with a big stick before moving the hole cover into place and operating all the "engines" as I set sail in my glass boat. Of I sailed to search the gas cload for an island... Surprisingly there's tons of creatures in the water who regularly come to "play" with my boat some of them being seemly acidic in nature... just based on the fact they are swimming and fleshy... the other is the glass creatures... Yep just huge glass animals... Cool creatures... I'm unsure if they are mechanical or bioorganic in nature... If they are mechanical who built them? I am still in I guess Bjorn's old castle so this should be his work right? But the heart specifically says he never built a second golem and those would be glass golems... after watching them for awhile I'd assume they are organic due to their seemingly sporadic and playful nature rather then a robot nature... also I saw two fucking... Golems don't fuck... It took days of "playing" to finally find land and it's... Definitely cricket island...
