Richard couldn't believe what was happening. That bastard sent him his son's sex tape, making him believe it was Angel, and tried to pull one over him by keeping Angel's creations for himself. Kevin decided to betray him since the beginning and he wasn't even able to see it.
Richard felt the rage rising.
He needs to erase that video before someone find it. Once to was done, Richard hurriedly went home —his eyes were those of a devil. He ran upstairs and entered Kevin and Charlie's room. That traitor even dare to move under his roof, if what Angel said is true, he'll kill him.
He stormed in and started to open every single drawer, turning around the mattress and destroying everything until he found it, the book that would brought him millions. He opened it and skimmed through it. When he heard noises at the door, he looked up to see a stupefied Kevin.
Ah, here he was, his fucking son-in-law.
Richard ran toward Kevin and grabbed him by the neck —strangling him. Kevin seemed completely confused and scared.
"You son of a bitch! You were trying to double-cross me?!"
"W-what? N-no…"
Kevin paled. What the hell was he talking about? Richard put the black notebook under his nose and screamed.
"Don't lie! I found Angel's book hidden under your bed!"
Kevin struggled to get out of his hold, but it was useless. Richard was tightening so much that the air in his lungs was lacking more and more as time passed.
"I-I…"
But Richard couldn't care less. His anger was blinding him and kept on screaming swear words without realising that the man between his hands had already stopped breathing. He only let go when he heard piercing scream. He turned his head and met his son's petrified stare.
"F-fa… father! K-Kevin!"
Charlie put his hands in front of his mouth as his stomach menaced to eject his lunch. Oh god, his father killed his fiancé —the man he loves. What should he do? It's his father, he can't let him go to jail. But he killed his lover… No, if his father go to jail he'll never inherit the company. His mind was a mess.
"Charlie…"
Richard looked at his shocked son. He knows how much he loved Kevin but he can't let him go to the police. He needs to have that company. Yeah, the only way to convince him to stay by his side was to tell him what Kevin did, even if he has to add a few lies with it.
"He was keeping Angel's creations for him, he had the notebook from the beginning… also I saw him cheat on you and… I couldn't stop my fury. I'm sorry, son."
Charlie nodded, trembling.
"W-we need t-to hide the b-body. Oh my god, how d-do we do that?"
Richard sighed in relief. At least his son is still able to think rationally. As soon as he inherit the company he'll completely forget about that bastard and might even marry someone from a better family. Everybody knows that the only one who succeeded in the Herbert family is Amory —and he's not even a Herbert anymore.
Those people are failure, they weren't able to keep a genius like him by their sides.
Maybe Charlie could seduce Amory once he's in charge of Lawson & Co. and Angel dies —he saw how his eyes changed as soon as they landed on Angel walking down the aisle. Those kind of people only marry people as successful as them to keep their status in high society so once Charlie is on an higher level than Angel, he'll chose him without a doubt. And if they merge both companies, they'll be the wealthiest company of the world.
Richard jumped in excitement inwardly.
"Let's burry him in the garden for now. We'll find a better solution later."
I laughed hard until I choked on my saliva and Amory had to hit my back to calm me down. Richard is a sociopath, he act impulsively and can't stop once he's consumed by his anger. I knew he would at least hurt Kevin but I wasn't expecting him to kill him. It's better that way, though. He's literally breaking the back of the work for me.
"What's so funny?"
"Oh, nothing. I was just watching a video of people having the worst day of their life."

I arrived early in the morning at the hospital to pick aunt Arya up. Her health improved faster than I had planned and she already couldn't stand to stay one more single day inside that depressive white room so I decided to bring her home. I talked to Amory and he agreed to let her stay at his place after I assured him that she was trustworthy.
He started to become more protective after I explained to him everything my family did and planned to do. I have to say that it's a strangely pleasant feeling.
When I opened the door of the room 405, an unidentified heavy mass fell on me. Oh sorry, that was my aunt. I completely forgot she was a real dynamo. The kind of person who would go on a walk in the middle of the jungle and climb the highest and wildest mountain to come back down on snowboard. She even had a TV show where she filmed her adventures. I would never understand how she was able to stand being locked up in this hospital.
She hugged me and kissed both of my cheeks. I pulled back and looked at her. Her complexion seemed better, the shadows under her eyes had disappeared and her face was colourful —cheeks tinted in a light pink. She had also regained weight —she looked more alive than she had ever been— and her hair had grown back at shoulders' height.
Damn, that elixir was really a miracle.
"Angel! My little baby!"
She seemed on the verge of tears.
"How are you feeling, auntie?"
She made a 360 and passed her hands in her hair with a cheerful smile.
"I feel like I'm back on my early twenties. Look, even my hair grew back and I don't cough anymore. My little baby grew up into a smart kid… boohoo."
"Ugh… I'm not a kid anymore, you know."
She stopped her sobbing and her eyes lit up.
"That's right! By the way, how are you planning to deal with Richard?"
I smirked cruelly.
"You don't have to worry about it. That man is so stupid he already destroyed himself without knowing it."
She chuckled and then glanced behind my shoulder.
"So… are you not going to tell me who's the man behind you? I think I've seen him once before…"
Amory took a step forward and gave her his hand with a polite smile.
"I'm Amory Slynt. Nice to meet you."
She beamed and shook his hand excitedly.
"That's right! I remember you now. I was there during the opening ceremony of your company six years ago. But why…"
She glanced at me curiously and I felt a small blush creeping on my cheeks. She opened her eyes wide and turned her head back and forth between Amory and I.
"Oh?… Oh… Oh!"
She laughed her head off at my embarrassed face.
