As Jack basked in the newfound power of the fused orbs, a powerful voice spoke directly into his mind. 


It was commanding and authoritative, and it echoed through his consciousness like a sonic boom.


"Attention all orb holders," the voice boomed. "We are happy to inform you that the first orb holder has fallen. There are now only 999 of you left."


Jack's excitement was quickly replaced with shock and fear. 


As the voice continued, Jack's heart sank even further. 


"The planet of the previous orb holder has been destroyed," it said. "We urge all remaining holders to be vigilant and to protect their orbs at all costs. 


The fate of you're planet depend on it."


Jack knew that he had to take this warning seriously. 


He vowed to do everything in his power to protect the people of Earth.
