Sophie and Ilaria
Coconut Grove - 9:30 AM
Sophie looked down at the sunlight sparkling on the ocean’s surface as they soared over to the small key. She probably could have made this jump on her own with Ilaria, but she didn’t bother making the suggestion.
Gibraltr landed effortlessly on the soft sand of the beach, setting her back on her feet. They looked around, but found nobody on the island at the moment. Holding her hand, Seth led her through the mangroves to the far east side of the small island.
They stopped at the water’s edge, small waves lapping at their feet. Container ships and other smaller boats spread out before them across the horizon of the Atlantic.
After looking around to ensure they were truly alone, Gibraltr’s amber eyes turned to her. “There are a few things you should know,” he told her.
