Sophie had to admit, they were treating her pretty well as a prisoner. The food certainly was good.


When the meal had come the night before, she had been very hungry. She had removed the silver dinner lid to find a ribeye steak, roasted brussel sprouts, and roasted garlic potatoes. 


The steak was a perfect medium-rare. The seasoning was fantastic too. She had eaten every bite.


The bathroom was fully functional as well. She had feared that maybe the palace didn’t have any plumbing. But it did.


In fact, the bathroom was fully modernized. The frameless glass enclosed shower even had a waterfall shower head. Letting her muscles relax and generally enjoying the steam, she had taken her time showering.


Sleep found her easily afterwards despite the stress of the day. The bed was soft and cozy. It couldn’t beat a big furry amber colored wolf she knew, but it was a close second.
