Alone.

"Am I dead? Perhaps I died from stones. Is it that easy for a person to die? As simple as that? I am now talking all alone in my grave. What a shame that I passed away without accomplishing my mission. My mate, 'win' my wolf are they also dead? Oh God, I didn't wanna die like that." G.K shouted waking up from his imagination but his eyes still closed

He touched both his cheeks with his both hands and grinned. "I knew, I won't die from those stones how can I? Hahaha how can a strong and handsome man like me be stoned to death, impossible? Did my handsome face attract them and they started drooling over me? Is there a good reason other than that? Never!"

"Are you done talking to yourself mister?" teased Lucas standing beside his bed. "You mean to tell me that you heard everything was blabbering about? No way in agony that you heard everything Lucas, G.K freaked out getting up from the bed."

G.K's POV

My eyes widened as I saw Nurse Ajuk standing behind Lucas.

Why did my eyes widen?

From the first day I saw her wearing a mini skirt exposing her long legs I fell in love with her. You may call it love at first sight but guess what? The man standing beside me bangs her and sometimes kisses themselves in front of me. (That's the main reason why I hate Lucas)

Anyway, it wasn't like I needed her I just wished for having sex with her nothing else.

"Good morning G.K., how are you feeling?" I glanced up at her tiredly as she came closer to me. "Good morning Ajuk and am feeling good see," I replied throwing my hands and legs in the air. In her hands, she was holding a folder, a pen, and a tinny metallic tin with tablets in it.

She opened the curtains allowing light in and walked back towards me. All that time Lucas' eyes were fixed on her butt so were mine.

"Here, take your medication." she extended her hand toward me. I counted the mixed-colored tables in the tin before pouring them into my hands ' Six as usual.'

I placed them on the table and grabbed a glass of water which was already prepared.

I once again dropped them into my palms, chucking them into my mouth and washing them down with water.

Well, that was more like breakfast to me. Taking six pills a day for my COPD (Chronic Obstructive pulmonary disease)

I gently placed the glass on the table and walked to the window. I loved viewing nature through my wind and at least sometimes I think about my parents in that spot. It is more like a relaxing and praying zone.

I always say my short prayers at this spot.

I then turned around after recalling my teammates, I didn't figure out what happened next. The last thing I recollect is sitting in the spaceship and waking up in my bed." My teammates" I knew very well that everyone had left already after returning from the battlefield but still I desired to find out if every mother's daughters and sons were safe and sound especially 'Team' who was wounded.

Rule number three of the 'Exterminators' is

Each person goes back to their respective home after accomplishing the assignment and those who are wounded or died to stay at the headquarters. But I was an exception since the headquarters stood like a home to me.

I slowly clambered down the stairs finding Lucas walking back and forth in the dining chamber while Ajuk was standing wearing a scared look on her countenance.

"Is everything alright?" I questioned hesitantly in a low voice even though I knew something was off according to Lucas' manners

Lucas looked at me cold-eyed before mandating me to go back into my room.

He ordered me, in the same way, someone can order a two-year-old boy to hide in his enclosure. "Two-faced as always, minutes back he was smiling at me, and at this time he barking at me," I murmured still being located at my previous position.

"Get your freaking ass out of my sight." Lucas thundered. Apart of me wanted to steer away from his sight but also wanted to raise him one more question.

I was neither disappointed nor mad with his behavior but instead, I was mad at myself for not protecting my comrades. Anyways I didn't expect him to tell me anything about those kids that would be like asking him for his secret chamber key.

"I just have one question" I muttered to Lucas. "What?" Lucas slammed his hand on the wall before turning to me. "Get out of here when am still being friendly," Lucas warned.

I glanced at Ajuk who was standing holding her cheeks with her hands in fear as cold sweat made its way to her face and once again glanced at Lucas before wandering up.

I didn't know what was going on but I needed to figure it out. I rather break into his office to find the truth myself than wait in my chamber.

After escaping his sight, I matched to my room and slammed the door hard before leaning against it for a minute or two.

I sighed as I walked to the window, sat on my bed, back to the window, and then to my bedroom door, and opened it scarcely darting into the hallway. My room was on the third floor while his office was on the first floor. The lab was in the basement and no one was allowed inside apart from the employees and Lucas.

Neither was my wolf of any help nor were the demons in me plus my supernatural abilities.

"Good -for -nothing" I foul-mouthed narrowing the space.

I tiptoed not daring to attract any attention from the guards who were standing 5 centimeters away from me and looked down from the balcony searching for Lucas' presence but the man had already left.

'In anyway that was advantageous for me'

'You come back' a guard barked at me as I walked down .

I glanced at them with a smirk on my lips and continued walking. One of the guards flexed his neck before coming after me . I hid under the dinning table but knocked a chair blowing my cover and ran towards the kitchen counter for a better cover .

Mean while it wasn't a cover but a distraction.

I grabbed the baking power from the top of the fridge and poured it to his face little did I know that the other one was right behind me .
