I raised my eyebrows and smiled weirdly looking at both of them before we started walking. Alex fixed his glasses and looked at me as if he owned the whole school.
"Why are you looking like you own the whole world?" I asked
"Has anyone ever told you that people with glasses rule and control the whole world even the school principal has them? Even the school president. So my answer is yes I own the whole world."
"Come on four- eyes, what do you know about the world except eating instant noodles and dozing in class, stop joking around." Goldie poked fun at Alex.
"How dare you curse at me when we eat instant noodles together?" replied Alex making a weird face and before I knew it they were arguing and running after each other.
I smiled gently feeling alive again hanging out with my two bestie buddies but my smile didn't rest for a long time when Miss Addams announced through the school speak.
"Student Gessa Kelvin, come to my office right away."
"GK was enough, why bother calling my full name," I murmured scratching my neck as I jumped the stairs. I knew nothing good will come from the principal's headquarters but I nonetheless pulled myself jointly and hiked with my sticks to her office.
I stood at the door for some seconds and breathed out a sigh before knocking and opening the door.
Miss Addams was standing at the window her back facing the door while one of her hands was on her head. "Good morning GK, I heard that you've been sick for the past month, how are you doing?" She questioned without turning back and I knew that maybe she was too shy to face me after what happened between us.
She sees me like a twenty-one-year-old stupid and lousy boy. I admit none of the things that happened between us were purposeful. I didn't mean to throw the empty coffee cup at her head, pour hot water into her shoes, or almost kiss her. Everything happened so fast in a way I can't remember.
I tiptoed to sit on the sofa since my legs hurt in torment. I once again glanced at Miss Addams still being located at the same location and I sat down with the help of the table and replied " I can't say I have been doing well. Many things have happened and I don't understand how to control them."
I said my hands placed behind the davenport if it wasn't for my leg being bandaged I would have crossed my legs to look cool in front of the school principal.
She blasted her hand on the window and hissed. My eyes widely opened as if they were popping out of my head. I tried to stand but lost control of my stick and the next thing I did was fall on the tilted floor with a thud pushing Miss Addams' desk towards her.
I screamed my lungs out pointing at her but she jumped on the table like Ninjas I watch in movies. "Is she one of them?" I asked myself just when I was about to smile thinking everything was alright the table hit the window, passing through the mirrors and it went flying outside with Miss Addams on top.
I went on hands and knees as fast as I could to the window and stretched my hands in the air hoping to control the table with my telekinetic ability but the table was way faster than I could have visualized. I couldn't imagine what can happen if the table flew outside with a person on top from the ninth floor then I will rot in the prison for murder or be shot to death in front of the whole society. That was the punishment given to humans but if they happen to find out am not a human my death will be more barbarous than stoning or roasting someone to die.
I tried as much as I could control the table but the thing was moving at the speed of lightning. "Should I give my life away to save hers?" I questioned myself looking outside when the table was still moving. A crowd had formed everyone looking shocked as the table continued to go down Miss Addams still on top of it. One of her knees was kneeling while the other was up with her both hands on the table.
"He..... He... Help----------" she screamed yet her voice was fading to me but I guess those on the ground heard it better.
I turned back and crawled to my walking stick and used my vampire speed to run down but by the time I reached blood was coming out of my leg and Miss Addams was swinging in the air but the table was on the ground shattered into pieces.
The girl let Miss Addams slowly on the ground and everybody started whispering among themselves. I ran toward Miss Addams and apologized countless times but she couldn't say anything. I shared her shoulders and slapped her cheeks but the lady couldn't open her eyes.
"She's okay but horrified. Leather rest for some good hours she will be up." the girl who helped her not to fall whispered and smiled at me before walking in the other direction.
I looked through the crowd my eyes searching for Alex and Goldie but to my horror, Natasha and Pitt were standing at the front line staring at me as I had mercilessly pushed her purposefully.
"Should I pretend that I don't know them?" I thought inwardly still searching for Alex and Goldie.
"Goldie, I need your help right here," I asked as I spotted both of them. Everyone must be wondering why nobody called 999 or 911. That's because people like me aren't allowed in hospitals.
Goldie waved his hands in the air and opened up a portal, carrying Miss Addams in his hands, and we took off landing in the school clinic.
I looked down at my leg as I sat down on a chair beside the bed.
Ajuk...
