Episode 13: (Ark Saga) Past Evil/Future Love
Scene 13.0: Intergalactic World Tournament Fighting Arena [Dreamscape Recreation], 16:30 [Frozen Time], Age 790
Phase 1:
Vs. Galactic Warriors
The Dragon Team stare down at Bojack and his crew, however Gohan is torn in a way after learning of Zangya's Death at the hands of Bojack, just to kill him because he couldn't win against his Super Saiyan 2 Power. Not wasting any time against the Dragon Team, The Galactic Warriors charge at them and does so in a ruthless manner that in just in a brief moment, they already have the upperhand. That King Vegeta, Nappa and Raditz couldn't believe that the strength of the Galactic Warriors were beings that are supposed to be stronger than Frieza and witnessing their power, they can't believe that they are far worse than Frieza comparing their cruelty to his. The Galactic Warriors sadistically attack the Dragon Team in a brutal way that which forces them to transform once again to their best forms, not their most powerful as they believe the Hera are hiding their Full Power and they were right as all of them transforms into their full power. The Dragon Team noticed that the Full Power Hera is almost similar to the Super Saiyan Transformation as the Hera's yellow-orange hair and eyebrows turn red, their teal-slate skin turns lime-green, their muscles increase dramatically and their clothes are often torn by the power up potency. Interestingly enough, Bojack's golden earrings turn purple and the black sash around his waist turns blue when he unleashes this state. The only one that isn't transformed is Zangya which makes her the weakest of the group. Chronoa and Future Trunks notices that something isn't right: the only ones among them that could use the Full Power of their Race were none other than Bojack and Kogu, but all of these Dream Constructs with the exception of Zangya is able to do so; Chronoa shakes her head at Future Trunks to not tell Goku and the others as she carefully approaches Ark as the Grand Priest monitors them with curiosity.
Chronoa:
(Whispering To Ark)
What are you up to? The only ones that can use this power are Bojack and Kogu, but you gave this to all of them except Zangya.
Ark:
(Whispering To Chronoa)
This is a little experiment Luminescence and myself came up with. Actually it was more her idea than mine. Since Bojack's Crew are the Last of the Hera, Luminescence wants one of them to survive in order to keep them from extinction. She also wants a Cerealian to continue the race since Granolah refuses to do so. Which to be honest she has a lot of good ideas that I never dreamed I could come up with. But we both now know she is downright obsessed with Son Gohan. It looks like she wants him to be the "End All Be All" no matter what.
Chronoa:
(Whispering To Ark)
I will admit Gohan-Kun is better than Son-Kun, but she is taking this a little too far.
Ark:
(Whispering To Chronoa)
I will admit that it was Son Goku that I am reformed, but I happen to agree with Luminescence: Son Gohan was supposed to be Son Goku's Successor. Having him clean up everything when his son is supposed to be the Main Defender of Earth is an insult to not only what he wanted for Gohan, but it makes Goku a bad father in ways it has no name. Even the word "Bad" doesn't begin to describe how truly horrible he is. Back to the topic at hand…Luminescence plans for Gohan are so unique, I can't tell you about it since you aren't part of our project…not yet at least. Just watch, Chronoa…this little experiment of ours will decide the future of our vision.
After hearing those words, both Chronoa and the Grand Priest are now extremely curious on this little experiment of Ark and Luminescence and how will it bear fruit for their vision. Goku, Vegeta, Future Trunks, Gohan and Gotenks are fighting Bojack, Kogu, Bido, Zangya and Bujin respectively with Vegeta, Future Trunks and Gotenks winning their fight with their opponents while Goku is enjoying his fight with Bojack while Gohan is holding back as his fight with Zangya is giving him mixed feelings. Videl and Brapan are worried as well as Piccolo because they have never seen Gohan behave like this as they noticed that Ark got in his head with what happened in that alternate timeline. As the fight continues, Gohan can tell that Zangya is not a good person, but he can't help to feel that if she was given the same chance as Piccolo, Vegeta and the Androids, Zangya could change for good. Annoyed that the fight is not going their way, Bojack orders his men to use their Psychic Threads to hold all of the Dragon Team down as Bojack and Zangya prepare to take them all out with Bojack charging his Galactic Buster and Zangya is charging her Sky Zapper. Gohan refuses to allow this to continue so he transforms into Gohan Beast and just like the alternate timeline, Gohan takes out all of Bojack's men including Kogu who was originally killed by Future Trunks, not by Gohan and both Bojack and Zangya are in shock and in his desperation, he pushes Zangya to Gohan and fires an energy sphere at her. Gohan sees this and history repeats as Bojack's attack goes through Zangya, killing her as Gohan is shocked by this and unlike in the other timeline, Gohan is killed along with her…or so he thought as he had a vision of what was about to happen. Right now, Gohan is in the presence of Luminescence as she is eating pizza and drinking ginger ale while reading Dragon Ball Manga Volume 35.
Luminescence:

Luminescence:
Sorry. Force of habit. I know you aren't the type to enjoy seeing the death and suffering of others. You are nothing like Bojack who actually enjoy that sort of thing. Frieza is pretty sadistic, but he only kills those who either insults him or do not live up to his expectations. He was easy to anger, that Frieza. But Bojack…Killing Is His Way Of Life. He's the reason his entire race is extinct. Unlike Bojack, Frieza would never kill his own unless they commit a treason that cannot be forgiven. Sure there's a deep rivalry and vitriol among his race, but that's how they are. What happened between Frieza and Frost…Frieza considered Frost insulting because Frost's tactics would not last in the long term. Frieza's Tactics does last long term. Frieza's Empire was born in 1104 Before Age which is almost 2000 years, making it the oldest and long lasting empires of all time…which is impossible no matter how you look at it. In reality no empire has survived that long. It's impossible.
Gohan:
You are right. All Empires only survive a total of 300 Years more or less.
Luminescence:
The reason for that is because his empire was being watched by Beerus and his predecessor. Having a God on your side does have its perks. You can get away with murder and suffer no penalties…until you meet the likes of King Yemma and are sent to eternal pain, suffering and misery. Where I come from only the weak-minded don't believe in the supernatural, gods and the afterlife…while those that do, they believe that Hell would be fire and brimstone all eternity. But that's stupid. The truth is that hell has multiple circles. In a certain religion there's 9 Circles while another are over hundreds and hundreds of circles. There's the Hell that skins you alive; then there's the one that cut you to pieces one body part at a time; then there's the Hell that drowns you by hanging you upside down…There's so many Hell's in this Religion and my favorite one of all: The Hell that tickles you nonstop through eternity.
Gohan:
There's no way that last one is real.
Luminescence:

Luminescence:

The final moments of your fight with Bojack? All of it except of Bojack pushing Zangya to you and killing you both. I wanted you to see that horrid scene before you decided to do the same damned thing in that timeline. Just like you…I believe that Zangya can be reformed…in the same vein as Piccolo, Vegeta And The Androids. But that's just me.
Gohan:
I really hope you are right. By the way…what is it the deal you and Ark have?
Luminescence:

Because It's Better Than Comics. Manga Is God Tier Compared To Anything Else. I always hated Comics. They are too convoluted they are literally worthless. Everyone hates Convoluted Stories and none are more convoluted than Comics. Comics write this and that, there and here and all of it contradicts the last story. That's why Manga is better. Sure there are Manga with convoluted stories, but they are consistent and makes sense down the line sooner or later. Comics are not consistent and they stop making sense when you have incompetent writers and talentless artists that ruins the lore that made the original story timeless. But enough of my grudge against talentless prostitute nobodies that fail upward because they know how to give head. Seriously, Harvey was sent to prison because of this type of corruption just so it could stop, but it got worst as soon he was put behind bars. Look like HE WAS Nothing But A Middleman In The Whole Affair. And as they say: "Cut Out The Middleman And You Will Maximize Your Earning By 1,000%". Anyways…I believe some of your enemies: Those you have met like Frieza and those who you never met like Zangya, can be reformed.
Gohan:

You are thinking of him being reformed in the same vein as Piccolo or Vegeta. No, you are wrong. When I say that Frieza could be reformed, I mean he could be a little more lenient in a more Lawful Evil Territory. But I am hoping for him to be more of an "On And Off Assist" rather than a mutual and respectful ally. An example of that was during the Tournament of Power. But I don't want to say more. I am still in the planning stages but I want my vision to match my process. Something no one in positions of power where I come from can do. All they talk about is bedside manner than doing actual competent story building like a decent human being. Speaking Working Like A Decent Human…what will you do as soon as I send you back?
Gohan:
I will save Zangya-San.
Luminescence:
And what will you do if she betrays you once you do?
Gohan:

Luminescence:
(Mild Chuckle)

Gohan tries to speak to Luminescence for that last sentence, but she snaps her fingers and resumes Gohan's fight against Bojack as soon as Gohan manages to kill Kogu, Bido and Bujin with Bojack and Zangya fearing Gohan's Full Awoken Power; and just like before Bojack pushes Zangya to Gohan and fires an energy sphere at her. Gohan sees this, rushes at Zangya, grabs her and jump out of the way with her in his arms. Zangya is in disbelief that her enemy saved her life as Gohan puts her down as gently as he can and starts to attack Bojack with everything he has and finishes him off with a Super Kamehameha. Everyone is wary of Zangya that are keeping tabs on her, Gohan walks to her and reach out his hand in friendship, only for her to slap it away in disgust and fly away but not before giving a mean glare at him. Brapan and Videl stare at Gohan disapprovingly for saving her as Gohan himself pulls the same carefree and goofy smile as his father in order to weasel himself out of this situation just like Goku has done with Chi-Chi and just like his father, Gohan just got a slap on the wrist as both Videl and Brapan just look away with a disapproving pout, but in reality are happy that Gohan is still the kindhearted man they love as they are actually blushing and smiling as they look away. Ark, Chronoa and The Grand Priest notices that Dream Zangya is hiding nearby, but they don't know what her plans are, but are hoping that she isn't planning in doing what Dream Turles did, jumping in and attacking Gohan and the others, but Ark believing in what Luminescence told him, Zangya might do something completely different. Only time will tell…
Phase 2:
Vs. Evil Incarnate
As everyone gather around the look at Ark with a puzzled look…
Ark:
Yes?
Goku:
Um…Ark? Those guys were tough, but compared to the others…we didn't had to go all out. Cooler, The Evil Broly, Hatchiyack and Baby were the toughest fight we had. Bojack and his crew weren't all that fun to fight.

Scene 13.1: Corrupted Hell [Dreamscape Recreation]
Ark snaps his fingers and teleports everyone to Hell, but it looks real odd with bubble-like crystal orbs floating around and spikes growing out all around the floor everywhere. Suddenly the see a giant yellow obese monster. He has four holes on his belly and two holes on his shoulders. His legs and forearms are colored as a dull-purple. His eye sclera are white, and his eye irises and pupils are black. Being are completely rounded. He also has a large tail, and two stubby toes is laughing and saying a name repeatedly.
Dream Janemba:
Janemba, Janemba, Janemba!!!
Everyone:
(Glares At Ark)
Ark:
(Annoyed Sigh, Facepalm)
I know, I know…Let's skip this giant and go for his super form.
Ark snaps his fingers again as the giant becomes smaller and human-sized. He gains yellow eye sclera, upper armor color being dull-purple and his skin tone and tail is bright red. He also gains two dull-purple curved horns on his head while gaining dull-purple wrist-lets, pelvic armor, and ankle supports. The skull cap and horns of Super Janemba are that of Frost Demons suggesting Super Janemba's skullcap, horns, and possibly his tail are traits he acquired due to the influence of the evil from deceased members of the Frieza's Race, his pointy ears are a trait relatively common among Demons. Frost, Hit, The Pride Troopers and the Saiyans are shocked to see Super Janemba as they recognize him in some aspects from demon stories in their mythology as well as Frost Demons from the looks of his appearance.
Ark:
Allow me to introduce you to the Immortal Evil Incarnate: Janemba.
Vegeta:
This is the immortal you say has attained immortality through his own power?
Ark:
Yes. Janemba is as I mentioned "Evil Incarnate" The more evil there is in the cosmos and beyond, the more powerful he will become. Although even if he is immortal, his body isn't. You can destroy his physical form time and again and he will never die. But he cannot regenerate like Garlic Jr. and Zamasu who wished for immortality in the same manner, but if the damage is superficial and that severe, he will regenerate. But he needs a host body in order to do anything.
Gohan:
How he got his body in that alternate timeline?
Ark:
All of this starts at Age 774 after Majin Buu got resurrected, but…unlike in this timeline, on that timeline Gohan killed the Evil Majin Buu and restored order to the world. But…Goku and Vegeta are still in the afterlife since Gohan didn't drop his guard around Majin Buu and they needed to fix the situation. During the Other World Tournament going on and Goku has defeated Froug while Pikkon defeated Arqua. At the Check-In Station, A Saike Demon is guarding the Soul Cleansing Machine, but is distracted with his heavy metal music. His lack of attention allows the machine to become too full; as a result, the machine explodes, releasing all of the evil energy at once. The young ogre is enveloped in the evil smog and is transformed into a giant, seemingly innocent, monster of incredible power named Janemba. Janemba's first order of business is to place a barrier around the Check-in Station of Other World. This barrier prevents King Yemma from maintaining order between realms. With Yemma trapped, the souls of Other World are free to return to the land of the living.
Everyone:
(Furious)
HOLD IT!!!
Ark:
I know what you will ask and the answer is a big fat "No". You will not be fighting those you have already defeated. My power is already getting weaker so bringing all of them back is not going to be possible.
Vegeta:
Good. Then that means it won't be long until you fight us on our level.
Ark:
True…after this fight, you will fight 3 more battles with the last one being the hardest of them all before fighting me. A little spoiler your way: The next fight after this is going to be a set of Red Ribbon Androids Again with a New Twist to them and the last enemy is someone you would never expect it to be.
Goku:
Who?
Ark:
No Spoilers On Them Specifically, Son Goku. Especially that Luminescence is watching and she hates spoilers. Kinda hypocritical if I do say so myself.
Goku:
Why?
Ark:
She hates giving spoilers…but she loves hearing spoilers. See the clash there?
Goku:
Well…I think I understand her. I don't like secrets either. I want to know stuff too.
Ark:
(Whispering To Himself)
Could have fooled me…
Goku:
Did you say something?
Ark:
You defeat Janemba by fusing with Vegeta to become Gogeta and in this timeline it was the first time you actually fused. You exorcised Janemba from the Saike Demon using a technique called "Stardust Breaker". But that won't work here since I gave this Janemba his own body, so in order for you to win, all you have to do is destroy his body completely. You see…Gotenks was supposed to defeat Majin Buu, but instead Gohan did the deed.
(Ears Ringing And Burning)
And right now I feel like a certain fangirl is all a giddy about that fact. What I am trying to say is…Fusion wasn't the "End All Be All" Solution you gave Goten and Trunks…Until Janemba showed up to prove to all "The Rebirth of Fusion!! Goku and Vegeta" becomes Gogeta to save all reality.
Goku:
That's too much of a mouthful.
Ark:
(Annoyed Sigh)
How about "Fusion Reborn" Then?
Goku:
(Smiling)

Ark:
(Facepalm)
Sure you do…Why do I even bother with telling you a more dramatic tagline when you ask for a more compacted and uninspiring subtitle? No matter. Are you ready?
Goku:
Hey, Vegeta? Should we fuse to take this guy down? Ark said we had to fuse to beat Janemba. So…
Vegeta:
No!!
Goku:
But—
Ark:
Please just get ready to fight!!! I don't want to hear your marital bickering anymore!!! And before you say something about my last remark, I'm trying to be a little comical by making fun of your excessive bickering. Next time I will say something more crude than that…just a warning before you do so. Ready!?
Begrudgingly both Goku and Vegeta ready themselves to fight Janemba along with their allies; as Ark claps his hands the fight starts as Janemba teleports from where he is to behind Goku smack his head with his fists then kicks him away as the rest of the Dragon Team jump in, but Janemba teleports away and attacks Gohan from behind and does the same to him. Brapan tries to use her Galick Gun on him, but Janemba counters her with his Rakshasa's Claw that leaves her heavily damaged. Piccolo along with #17 tries to pin him down with a combined assault of Hellzone Grenade and Super Electric Strike respectfully, but Janemba keeps teleporting around and evading their attacks with no effort. Krillin and #18 decide to use a Destructo Disks team combination on him, but manages to evade them all like it was nothing as he counter them with his Hell Gate and blasts them away, but fortunately didn't manage to kill them. Gotenks uses his Super Ghost Kamikaze Attack in order to stop Janemba from his Teleporting Shenanigans by using his ghosts as seekers in order to pin him down and explode him out of this strategy, but it backfires as Janemba regenerate instantly from the damage like it was nothing thanks to his immortality and the damage wasn't that heavy. None of them could believe how powerful this monster truly is that Goku and Vegeta felt like they were fighting Zamasu. Worried that they can't win, Goku and Vegeta were forced to fuse as they once again asked for Brapan's Metamo-Rings; they fuse into Gogeta and resort to the Stardust Breaker to defeat Janemba just as Ark told them they did in that alternate timeline. However Janemba wasn't destroyed, but instead he evolved into the Modified Black Janemba. In this form Janemba's armor takes on a shiny black hue and spikens further at his shoulders and back, and he develops dark red lines drooping down from his eyes. Everyone couldn't believe that Janemba became this powerful and wasn't destroyed by Gogeta's attack. Ark laughs heinously as he stares down at the Dragon Team.
Ark:
If you are wondering how come he's more powerful even though he was supposed to be destroyed…the reason for that is this battlefield. You fought Garlic Jr. up to the Tsufururians and all of that evil energy has been infused into Janemba forcing him to evolve in order to survive. This is the True Power Of Janemba. The More Evil There Is In The Cosmos…The More Powerful He Will Become As I Said Before As He Is Evil Incarnate. This is the true result. Of course in an alternate timeline it was Dr. Wheelo that made Janemba this powerful using a similar infusion of energy but from a different source: Super Saiyan 4 Energy.
Gogeta:
Super Saiyan 4? Is Super Saiyan 4 An Evil Transformation?
Ark:
Can I ask you something, Gogeta? Do you remember when Babidi took over the mind of Prince Vegeta? The feel of the energy he granted him?
Gogeta:
So the power of Super Saiyan 4 is the Same Type of Power as Babidi's Evil Magic.
Ark:
Similar, but not the same.
Gogeta:
(Confident Smile)
Then I know what technique to use to defeat him. All right, Janemba! Get ready for round 2!
But before Gogeta could do anything, Janemba fires Go-Go Gum at him, holding him in place; seeing this, Gohan attacks Janemba while Pan tries to set Gogeta free in order to buy her some time, but he is easily overpowered by the Upgraded Black Janemba and is about to deal the finishing blow to Gohan. But before he could kill Gohan in this match, out of nowhere a massive barrage of Ki attacks hit Janemba and while he is distracted, a mysterious feminine figure jump in and rescues him by getting him out of there. The one who saved him was Zangya and after doing so, she gives him a mean stare and flies away, but Gohan smiles and remembers that both Piccolo and Vegeta started out acting like this. While Janemba tries to regenerate from Zangya's attack, Gogeta take this chance after Pan set him free and creates a God Ki Charged Spirit Bomb and hits Janemba with it, completely destroying his body. Not wasting this chance, Piccolo, Future Trunks and Tien Shinhan uses the Mafūba and seals Janemba's Soul inside a bottle. Once they sealed Janemba away, Ark grabs the bottle to everyone's dismay, but much to their surprise, Ark just shattered it, destroying Dream Janemba in the process.
Phase 3:
Bonds Of love
Ark:
Glad that's over! You all want to take a break or are you ready for the next one?
Gogeta:
Are the next battles even harder?
Ark:
Yes. I did mentioned that and I will repeat it once again: the next 3 battles are going to be against 2 Androids that are far superior than Hedo's Gammas and last but certainly not least…A Group Of Evil Beings You Are Not Going To See Coming.
Gogeta:
Then we take your offer to have a break and prepare for the next battles.
Ark:
I also suggest you bond with your families and love ones. Speaking of such…hey Trunks? Mai? Do you want me to bring your friends from Blue Hal High in order for them to know the big news?
Trunks:
(Overjoyed)
Sure! I want everyone to know!
Mai:
(Blushing, Smiling)

Ark:

I don't know if you have noticed but her mother doesn't approves you being together and she very precise with her Destructo Disk throw. And Luminescence like to say: "Aim For The Head, Thor". I don't know what she means by saying that name, but I get what she is saying there.
Goten:
(Whispering)

Ark:

Goten:

Ark:

The Saiyans are an Endangered Race, You Know. When you entire Race is going to die out, you might as well procreate like rabbits. Your dad would be proud if you did.
From a distance and hiding from everyone, Dream Zangya manages to overhear Ark's words and starts to feel disgusted for a moment that she wanted to leave them all to rot, but she inadvertently touches her necklace and a certain memory starts coming to her that fills her with sadness and hatred. She decides to stay because of this memory even though she is a Dream Construct and not the Real Zangya.
Goten:
(Whispering)
You definitely are nuts!! My mom would go crazy if I did that!!! And I doubt my dad would be proud if I really did that!!!
Ark:
(Annoyed Sigh)
Your loss then…Chicken…Well I'm going get your friends. Enjoy your family bonding.
Ark uses Instant Transmission and leaves the Dreamscape and instantly returns with all of Goten, Mai and Trunks' friends from Blue Hal High and much to Goten's dismay, Ark brought Palace along with them as he thinks Ark did it on purpose that he approaches Ark feeling Marron's Sharp Glare stabbing him on the back.
Goten:
(Furious, Whispering)
Ark!!! You Son of a—
Ark:
(Whispering)
Let me explain, Boyo. I went to find your friends, but they were having a "Get-Together" to join in Bra's Birthday and surprise you, Mai and Trunks. Palace was with them when I got there. I wasn't planning on it, you have to believe me!
Goten:

Ark:
(Annoyed, Out Loud)

Ark teleports out of there after making a show which caught everyone's attention even 18 who is glaring at Goten along with Marron that already has an idea on what he and Ark were talking about as Ark reappears next to the Grand Priest.
Grand Priest:
You are like Whis except much more willing to help the humans.
Ark:
Have you forgotten? Primordial Dragons are no different than the Majins called Djinn. We like interacting with Humans in our many forms and grant them what they want the most, but at a price. We are the essence of the Dragon Balls that can grant any being whatever they oh, so desire.
Gran Priest:
I see…You were the reason the Dragon Balls came to be.
