Episode 17: (Ark Saga) Past Sins/Future Progress

Scene 17.0: West City Ruins [Dreamscape Recreation], 16:30 [Frozen Time], Age 790

Phase 1:

Vs. The Android From Hell

With a snap of his finger, Ark alters the area to resembles West City after being almost destroyed during the Merger of both Earth and Hell that helped create Super 17 which right now are fighting against after Dream Hell Fighter 17 snuck up on #17 and absorbed him by impaling him from behind right through him in the same manner he backstabbed Gero. The shock of seeing this caught everyone by surprise as surprisingly as both #21 Babies; Sapphire and Ruby start to cry. Upon hearing them crying, Super 17 is annoyed by them that he blasts Krillin and #18 who are holding their now baby daughters. They are saved by Gohan, Fasha and Dream Zangya as the 3 of them jump in to block the attack together.

Gohan:

Krillin-San! #18-San! Get those girls to safety.

Krillin:

Right! #18-San, let's get Sapphire and Ruby to Marron! We can save #17-San once we get the girls to safety!

Annoyed on what is happening, #18 has no choice but listen to Krillin and take their new daughters to safety before trying to rescue #17. Meanwhile Goku and the others fight Super 17 and much to their surprise, he has all of the abilities of Gero's Androids such as Ki Drain using his hands and since they fought alongside the Dragon Team, he knows all of their strengths and weaknesses which makes things harder for all of them. Once they get the reincarnated Dream #21s to Marron and #17's Family, Krillin and #18 return to the battle but not before #17's family begging them to save him; Krillin and #18 affirms to them that they will save him as they worry how to do so. As they return to the battle, Super 17 starts to ignore everyone and begins to attack his older twin sister, #18 in a very ruthless and sadistic manner as the babies can sense the hostility that is coming from him that they can't stop crying. Krillin and the others jump in to defend her, but as they try, Super 17 would drain their Ki or counterattack them. No one knows why Super 17 is ruthlessly attacking his sister since Goku has always been Gero's Main Target, but he's more focused on her than the Saiyan. Upon weakening everyone, Super 17 impales #18 through the heart with his right hand as everyone is in shock and Krillin screams in despair that they are even more appalled is that Super 17 absorbs #18. Super 17's face now looks identical to Android 18's and his hair becomes blonde and reaches his lower back. While mostly styled like #18's, as it parts on the left of his face which gets tucked behind his ear, he also has two small strands hanging over his face. His vest is replaced by a strap across his chest. He also gets a gold plate covering his pants on his right leg plus a thicker, larger black brace on his right hand which appears to be slightly longer than the left arm. No one could believe what they were seeing as Ark interjects…

Ark:

Neither Gero nor Myuu designed Super 17 to absorb #18. That was Towa's meddling when she forcefully merges #18 into him. But in this case, Luminescence and I decided to have Super 17 absorb #18 out of his own free will. Super 17 also can absorb 2 others, but…I'm still considering it.

Putine:

(Ashamed)

Yeah…Sis actually did that…

Goku:

(Excited)

He can get even stronger!?

Ark:

If you prove that you are stronger than him after absorbing #18, then sure. I'll consider letting him absorb the other 2 Androids I have in mind.

It will take some time. Krillin. You and your family need to reach out to not only her, but to #17 as well. If there's some turmoil within that piece of junk, we can separate them without any problems.

With his friends and allies' assistance, Krillin and his family tries to reason with Super 17 (#17 and #18 really), but unlike the battle against Dream #16 and Dream #21, Super 17 get enraged the more they try to reach out to #17 and #18 as the battle progresses. But it seem that is working as Vegeta's Spirit Control is already powerful enough to separate Super 17 from both #18 and #17, but when he went to remove them from Hell Fighter 17, he manages to only remove #18 since Super 17 couldn't counter Vegeta's Spirit Control, he moved away from Vegeta before he manages to remove #17. After removing her from him, Super 17 reverts back to his base form. Enraged for having #18 removed from him, he starts to attack Vegeta and try to kill him before he tries that technique again and removes #17. Krillin takes his unconscious wife away and rendezvous with their family. Upon arriving with them, #18 wakes up and looks around desperately.

#18:

Where am I!?

Krillin:

Easy, #18-San. We managed to save you thanks to Vegeta.

#18:

I need to—

Marron:

No, Mama! You go back in there and Uncle 17 might absorb you again!!

#18:

But there must be something we can do to stop that.

Luminescence:

(Appears In Front Of Them, Holding Metamo-Rings)

There is. Super 17 can only absorb Androids and Machine Mutants because his framework design was created by Gero and Myuu. But if an Android with a different framework were to fight him, he can't absorb them. So I brought this Metamo-Rings to help you with that.

#18:

I need to fuse with another Android who wasn't created by those quacks?

Luminescence:

Yes and I already found a compatible partner.

#18:

Luminescence:

Arale-Chan.

Krillin:

But Arale-Chan is smaller than #18-San. The Metamoran Fusion needs that the 2 fighters who are fusing with to be of an even height. Arale-Chan is has a Loli Body-Type while #18-San is a Full Grown Adult.

Luminescence:

Arale-Chan has an adult body, but it's back at Penguin Village. But thanks to the Metamo-Rings, even if you are not the same height, you can still fuse. Actually…all the negative effects of the Metamoran Fusion are Null and Void while you are wearing the Metamo-Rings, so no worries.

(Hesitant, Glares At Luminescence, Furious)

You bitch! This is why you brought them here!!

Luminescence:

I know you have your doubts, but unfortunately for you this is the only way to match Super 17 and not fear in being absorbed. What Say You?

(Annoyed)

Bleeeh!!! I sounded like an old woman by saying that last question that way. I should say it like a normal everyday, southern woman.

(Clears Throat)

Hesitant on what Luminescence is offering, #18 takes the rings and flies to Arale. She tells Arale on how to do the fusion as the Little Android cheerfully accepts which worries #18 as she doesn't want to end up like Gotenks' Failed Fusion Form: "Fat Gotenks". #18 and Arale attempt the fusion with #18 worried about it going wrong, but Super 17 notices and rushes to absorb #18 again, but he is too late as they manage to fuse into Arale 18 and as soon as the fusion became active, she kicked Super 17 away and on his face. Upon seeing his sister fused with Arale fills Super 17 with rage and disgust as he attack her and tries to absorb her, but Arale 18 stands completely still to purposely to be absorbed by him and once he grabs her, nothing happens as she smiles and kicks Super 17 again. Just like Luminescence told them: since Arale is not one of either Gero's or Myuu's creations, her schematics are incompatible with Super 17, thus she cannot be absorbed.

Arale 18:

'Lo! Time for you to give #17 back, you faker!

Super 17:

Never! I Am Him And He Is Me!! I Am The Strongest Android Of Them All!!! Even Stronger Than You!!!

Arale 18:

Then let's play a game! Only You And Me! I win, I take #17 Back and I'll kill you. If you win, you get to absorb me. You got nothing to lose. Come On! #17 never pass up a chance in playing games! I'm #18, but I'm also Arale and everyone knows Arale loves to play games!!

Super 17:

At that moment, Super 17 makes a cheap knee shot at Arale 18's stomach that everyone is shocked on what he did, but Arale 18 looks at him with a mischievous smile which is a combination of Arale's wide smile and #18 evil smile as she kicks him and hits him with her Poop Toss technique and while he's distracted by the disgusting skill, Arale 18 follows up with her Energy Cannon that sends Super 17 flying and she laughs in the same manner as Arale does which deeply worries both Krillin and Marron.

Krillin:

(Worried)

Um…Vegeta? I gotta ask…how should I put this…? After you and Goku fuse…has Goku's…

(Clears Throat)

…unique quirks rubbed off on you? I ask because Goten and Trunks were still kids when they learned Fusion and we don't know how long Bra and Pan have been fusing, so I'm asking you.

Prince Vegeta:

No! And I'm Proud He Hasn't Rubbed off On Me!! But Since That Girl Is A Gag Manga Character, I Can't Promise You Her Weird Antics Won't Rub Off On #18.

As the battle rages on, Super 17 is being overpowered by the unorthodox fusion that is Arale 18 that he can't believe he's not the Ultimate Android as he always believed. At that moment, Ark snaps his fingers and both #16 and Cell appears before Super 17. Seeing them both excites Super 17 and feels everyone with worry as they remember what Luminescence said: That the reason Super 17 could absorb #18 was because they were Gero's Creation and when she fused with Arale, Super 17 couldn't absorb her because part of this fusion was created by Dr. Slump which schematics are far beyond anything Gero could create. Since #16 and Cell are Gero's creation, Super 17 absorb them both becoming even more powerful and him undergoing a physical transformation. Super 17 now gains large amounts of muscle mass that grant him a "perfect physical body" and cause his clothing to rip apart by absorbing #16 and having absorbed Cell, Super 17 gains Cell's armor on his shoulders, chest and legs, as well as black cheek markings. Everyone is worried that Arale 18 will have trouble fighting the evolved Android, much to everyone's shock, even Super 17 that Arale 18 was ignoring him and doing something Arale-Chan loves to do: poking poop with a stick and a weakness of hers is that she cannot resist the urge to poke it. Everyone flips upon seeing her act that way that both Ark and Luminescence start to laugh uncontrollably as they know #18 wouldn't live with herself if she behaved like this. Insulted by this, Super 17 start to assault Arale 18 with everything he has, but she dodges him in the same manner as Ultra Instinct Goku then laugh it off as a prank that she has achieved Ultra Instinct then saying "Yeah Right!" Harley Quinn-Style, Vegeta annoyingly states that this is why he hates Gag Manga Characters even if they fuse with a No-Nonsense Warrior like #18. As the fight progresses, Arale 18 gives Vegeta a glance, signaling him to ready his Spirit Control as he notices that Super 17 is now vulnerable because of all of the rage he has been letting out. Vegeta starts to focus as he tell Goku and the others to get ready to jump in and destroy Hell Fighter 17 as soon as he removes #17 from him. The Dragon Team nods and ready themselves to jump in to save him as the fight intensifies. Unable to contain his rage in being outclassed by a Misfit Android Fusion, Super 17 jumps into the sky and charges his Electro Eclipse Bomb and ready himself to unleash it unto Arale 18 which she starts to mock him with a condescending (#18) yet happy voice (Arale) that he starts to amplify his attack even further as Vegeta sees an opening in the middle of Arale 18's taunts that he took it and removes #17 from the Evil Android, uses Instant Transmission and get themselves out of the way as Goku and the others take on the now weakened Dream Hell Fighter 17; and as an unintended side effect, both Dream #16 and dream Cell also are separated from him. Cell flies away as #16 helps the Dragon Team to defeat Hell Fighter 17. Before Cell can get away, Gohan Beast, Super Saiyan 2 Fasha and Dream Zangya blasts Cell into nothing before he could get away. Meanwhile Goku, using his New Dragon Fist Technique, takes out Hell Fighter 17. As soon as Hell Fighter 17 is destroyed, Arale 18 defuses back into #18 and Arale and instead of returning the Metamo-Rings back to Luminescence, #18 smashes them in disgust underfoot and glares at both Ark and Luminescence.

I'M NOT FUSING WITH HER EVER AGAIN!!! I DON'T CARE HOW POWERFUL WE ARE OR HOW MUCH I'M GETTING PAYED FOR IT, I'M NOT DOING IT AGAIN!!!

Luminescence:

Too bad. You do realize that your fusion is powerful enough to overthrow someone as powerful as Zeno, don't you?

Everyone [Except Prince Vegeta]:

Especially That Arale-Chan Does Have The Power To Go Beyond Zeno because she's a Gag Manga Character. With #18's Cunning And Tenacity and Arale-Chan's Insane Gag Manga Reality Breaking Powers, Arale 18 Could Be The One That Rules All Instead Of The Zenos. But…I'm not going to do that. That type of story is best for Pros. I'm doing this because bored. Anyone who would want to write a "Arale 18 Becomes The Ruler Of All", You are welcome to do so. Yes, This Is A 4th Wall Break, My Dear Readers.

Ark:

I could tell you why this fusion is the most powerful, but Prince Vegeta knows why that is.

The Only Saiyan That Doesn't Have That Issue Is Gohan-Kun…And Apparently Trunks Too Now Since He And Mai Are Lovey-Dovey. Even More So Now That They Will Be Parents Now…I Wonder How Will That Last Unless They Stay Lovey-Dovey Like Gohan And Videl Still Are. The Problem With Both Chi-Chi And Bulma Happens To Be Their Personalities.

Ark snaps his fingers one more time as 6 Figures Appears in front of him while a seventh appears above them, hovering and waiting for his chance to strike; upon seeing this creature, everyone somehow is comparing him to Frieza for some unknown reason which fills them with dread that even Goku feels uneasy for some weird reason as #17 regains conscious to see what is happening.

Ark:

Allow me to introduce your final opponents: The Shadow Dragons. These 7 Dragons were born…After You Overused The Dragon Balls a little too much. Each Dragon was born from a very specific wish and said wish had the power to make each of them match their personalities. These Dragons came to be as soon as you defeated Super 17. You gathered the Dragon Balls to wish back all that was destroyed and bring Krillin back to life after getting killed by Super 17.

(Worried)

Let us begin with the 6-Star Dragon: Oceanus Shenron.

#18:

Don't ignore me and answer me! What—

Ark:

She looks really beautiful, doesn't she? But don't let that fool you…she feels great hatred towards the one who made the wish that created her. This form is called Princess Oto. But her true form…is not for the faint of heart.

Goku:

What wish created her?

Ark:

She was your first ever wish, Goku…

Goku:

Oh! The Time I used it to revive Bora!

Ark:

No…that Dragon is next. Oceanus was created…

(Clears Throat)

…by Oolong as he wished for…

(Clears Throat Harder)

At that moment as soon as she heard Oolong speak, Oceanus shapeshifts to her True Form that the look of admiration turns to disgust as Oceanus stopped looking a young woman with teal colored skin and eyes with long navy blue hair that extends to her lower half of her legs, bare of feet, and wearing an ocean blue dress; wearing three golden bracelets on both of her wrists and ankles and has two gold gem shaped earrings with a gold headband; having a long head adornment that looks similar to a dragon's tail that extends down to her lower leg; as The Six-Star Dragon Ball that is dark blue and cracked due to negative energy is located on her forehead and changes into a large teal gargoyle like creature with a large lower jaw, and the Six-Star Dragon Ball is now located on her chin.

Ark:

(Disgusted Glare)

This is what she really looks like. You must be real proud of yourself, Lil' Pig. You reap what you sow…creep!

Every woman looks at Oolong with disgust as Bulma punches him on the back of his head. As Luminescence starts to analyze the situation.

Ark:

Oceanus Shenron is very arrogant and cruel, attacking other creatures such as seagulls and innocent creatures for no apparent reason beyond sadism perhaps not unlike the other Shadow Dragons. She, however, has a sense of shame such as finding the circumstances of her birth to be a source of embarrassment in addition to bearing witness to Goku who was stripped naked from an attack of hers. Because of the perverted nature of the much maligned wish that created her, she also shows a form of hatred towards Oolong. Regarding her True Form, she dislikes its ugly appearance to the point that she uses Shapeshifting to appear more attractive to satisfy her vanity, and she has stated she would kill anyone that witnesses it.

Every woman looks at Oolong with extreme contempt as Bulma pulls her gun and readies it at him on the back of his head which he screams to her to stop that. As Luminescence now has a plan to make that wish slightly different and make Oceanus less Evil just like the 4-Star Dragon that Ark will introduce soon.

Ark:

Let's talk about the Dragon you thought Oceanus was, The 2 Star Dragon: Haze Shenron. He is very arrogant and constantly belittles his opponents. Despite this he can get embarrassed as when he admitted that he couldn't transform. At first glance he appears to be an incompetent fool not knowing when to give up, but this is actually a ploy to prolong fights so his poison can have time to take effect draining his opponent's strength, showing a more cunning side. He also can be somewhat sadistic as he threatened to eat Pan and threw both her and Goku into a toxic lake to dissolve in it. He is very proud of both his poison and his achievements as he called the destruction caused by his poison "beautiful" and boasted his superiority when he thought he defeated Goku and Pan.

Brapan:

(Glares At Haze)

Him? Beautiful!? Oceanus' Princess Oto Form is far more beautiful than that ugly toad.

Ark:

(Thinking)

She's just miffed that Haze almost killed Pan.

(Out Loud)

Next up…The Only Shadow Dragon that became your ally only to fall in battle: The 4-Star Dragon Nuova Shenron. Out of all of the Shadow Dragons, he's the only good guy among them…literally! He is created by King Piccolo's wish for eternal youth, which is undeniably selfish and as such, is the noblest and honorable of the Shadow Dragons. Nuova is also notable for being the fastest among the Dragons; his speed is enough to completely outclass that of a Super Saiyan 4, and catch even Syn Shenron by surprise. He is very serious as the King Piccolo battles were a very dark and serious time in your life. His power to control fire and heat could be seen as symbolic of Piccolo's origins as the "Demon King." Demons normally dwell in Hell and Hell is usually filled with fire. His siding with Goku also resembles King Piccolo's son/reincarnation Piccolo who started out as a villain created by the actions of King Piccolo only to later join forces with him. Interestingly Nuova Shenron shares traits with Goku as they both come from dark backgrounds…Goku as a Saiyan was originally sent to destroy Earth while Nuova is a Shadow Dragon…though later choose to fight against their own evil kin…Eis and Raditz respectively…which is likely a reference to their association with the Four-Star Dragon Ball.

Goku:

(Impressed)

Whoa! Really?

Luminescence:

Yeah. You and Piccolo were always mirrors of each other. So it's obvious those close to both of you could have this effect on everyone.

Piccolo:

(Amused Scoff)

Luminescence:

Ark:

His brother is the one you should worry about the most. The 3-Star Shadow Dragon: Eis Shenron. He is among the dirtiest of all the Shadow Dragons, even more so than Syn Shenron as he uses both Pan and Nuova as shields to protect himself. He is created by the wish that revived those killed by King Piccolo and his minions. Other sources state that he was created by a wish that is made so that, of all people, Majin Buu, a creature responsible for the deaths of billions and the destruction of countless planets, could have a second chance by making everyone but you forget his evil deeds, arguably making it the most selfless wish made.

Luminescence:

He's not wrong there.

Chronoa:

For shame.

Putine:

You said it.

Ark:

Anyhoo…The next one is the 5-Star Shadow Dragon: Rage Shenron. He is individually frail but has some of the deadliest elemental powers of any Shadow Dragon and is created by the wish that revives Goku after he sacrifices himself to kill Raditz…only one person is affected directly, but it is designed to save everyone from the Saiyans. Rage Shenron's powers of elasticity is strong enough to withstand Goku's 10x Kamehameha, even though his offensive power is not even enough to hurt Super Saiyan 4 Goku at all. Rage is relatively dark compared to Haze or Oceanus. Since he was created by a wish in your fight against Vegeta, his powers are symbolic of the Saiyans. His elasticity is symbolic of the highly expandable Battle Armor; his individual frailty is symbolic of Raditz's relative weakness compared to his comrades.

Ashamed upon hearing this, Raditz can't bear to look at his parents in their eyes as (Good) Lunch hugs and comforts him as she hums a lovely lullaby to him which makes him feel at ease, but his guilt, pain and suffering he went through while living under Frieza's rule is starting to wain the more he interacts with Lunch as both Gine and Bardock notices Raditz's dilemma as they see Ark and Luminescence smile and nod at them in a way they are telling them that everything will be fine.

Ark:

Next is the one that has peaked your interest…the one flying above us that is waiting for something to happen. That is the 1-Star Shadow Dragon and your final opponent: Syn Shenron. He is created by the wish that revived all those killed by Frieza and his men on Namek. Therefore, just as Haze…being created by a single person's revival…is one of the weakest, Syn, created by the most people's revival, is the strongest. His brutal, unrelentingly evil nature could be the result of the amount of negative energy used to create him or as a result of the selflessness of the wish's intentions by reviving the Namekians, you intended to use Porunga to transport everyone except Frieza away from the dying planet Namek, leaving the tyrant to perish in the explosion. Interestingly Syn Shenron was created as the result of Frieza's actions on Namek, as the wish was to revive all the people killed by him and his henchmen. In an alternate timeline, when Syn Shenron points this out to Frieza, Frieza states that it would technically make him Syn Shenron Shenron's mama. The fact of his creation being the result of the actions of Frieza, one of Universe 7 most evil villains it is actually quite fitting, that he is the strongest and most evil out of all the Shadow Dragons. Syn's ability to absorb the other Shadow Dragons and add their powers to his own could be seen as symbolic of Frieza's obsession with conquering planets and absorbing them…as well as their warriors and technology…into his already massive empire.

Prince Vegeta:

Are you sure telling us all of this is a good thing? You are giving us a lot of help by telling all of this.

Ark:

You are fighting the evil accumulated within Shenron. This will be the hardest sets of battles you will ever have…before me of course. But I digress…The Next and Last Shadow Dragon…The 7-Star Shadow Dragon: Naturon Shenron. He is the darkest of the first four Dragons, and is created in a very dark time in your history. He uses very evil tactics…such as using Pan as a shield, which corresponds to the selfless wish to revive Vegeta's victims when Babidi took control of him. Incidentally, Naturon is very weak until he absorbs a body, at which point his power rises exponentially. This parallels Vegeta's "controller", Babidi, who was likewise a relatively frail schemer who relied on others to defend him. His desire to burrow underground like a mole could be seen as symbolic of Babidi's strategic choice to bury his spaceship underground so Shin and Kibito could not find it. Additionally, he shares his power of absorption with Majin Buu who was revived as a result of Majin Vegeta's desire to fight Goku.

Prince Vegeta:

If that's the case then I will destroy Naturon with my own hands!

Piccolo:

If that's how you feel Vegeta, I can understand that myself since I want to destroy Eis if he was created because of me.

Yamcha:
