Episode 10: (Minus Saga) A Princess’ Promise & A Heretic’s Mission
Dragon Ball – Scene 10.0: Planet Vegeta, Bardock Family Home, Age 734
Mauka is in awe seeing the newborn Kakarotto in front of her as she approaches him to get a closer look. Something within her was resonating with this child that all of her anxiety and trauma she suffered from her encounter with Zarbon just disappeared, like it never existed that she started to smile yet again to the point she started humming her favorite lullaby (Shana's Theme) as she presses her head to Kakarotto's Birthing Pod closely so he can hear her humming. At that moment someone enters the room, Mauka is startled and look who it is: It's Raditz looking at Mauka in awe at her beauty and the way she was humming that lullaby.
(Kid) Raditz:
(Nervous)
Sorry! I didn't mean to startled you, Hime-Sama!
Mauka:
Actually…You didn't. I was about to go back to my room anyways. What are your names?
(Kid) Raditz:
(Kneels Before Mauka)
I am your humble servant, Raditz. These are my brother and sister, Kakarotto and Hanasia.
Mauka:
(Surprised, Hiding Surprise Behind Casual Royal Demeanor)
Sister? I didn't notice the other birthing pod behind your brother. Apologies if I offended her.
(Kid) Raditz:
Not at all, Hime-Sama! I keep telling my parents to place her in a more open area so others can see her, but they refuse to listen to me.
Mauka walks towards Hanasia's pod to get a closer look at her and upon seeing Hanasia's eyes, Mauka understands why Raditz's Parents are keeping the Saiyan Girl hidden: Hanasia's Ruby Red Eyes which are the contrast of her own Sapphire Blue Eyes. Upon knowing this, Mauka tears up and hugs Hanasia's pod as she has found someone who tragically shares her fate: The Fate of the Primal Saiyan.
(Kid) Raditz:
Hime-Sama? Are you alright?
Mauka:
(Smiling)
I'm fine. You have an interesting pair of siblings. I'm already attached to them for some reason. Are…you three by any chance…the children of Bardock-Taichou?
(Kid) Raditz:
(Excited)
We Are!!! My father is the best there is!!!
Mauka:
(Giggling)
I agree. I am aware of his accomplishments for a while. I would like to meet him.
(Kid) Raditz:
Sure! Father is giving his report while my mother is at her work at the meat distribution center. They'll be here soon.
Mauka:
By the way…where are my attendants?
(Kid) Raditz:
The only one I met was the one you call Kaiga. Turles is really into her…only to be beaten up by her saying that she will kill him if he gets close to her again. I never saw a Saiyan with White Hair and Weird Red Lines on her face before.
Mauka:
(Saddened)
She's…a unique case. Don't worry about it…just don't make a move on her…or on me when she's around.
(Kid) Raditz:
(Scared, Sweating, Nervous Laughter)
Never, Hime-Sama! I would never do such blasphemous advances to a goddess such as yourself!
Mauka finds the comment made by Raditz cringe-worthy as she looks near him inconspicuously to see if Kaiga is nearby; she notices Kaiga using her invisibility skill and hiding behind Raditz which annoys Mauka that her attendant is far too protective of her. Unknown to Mauka, Kaiga is a Yandere obsessed with her in ways she doesn't know or should ever know. Mauka and Raditz spend time together looking after both Hanasia and Kakarotto with Kaiga breathing down Raditz's neck until his parents get home.
Dragon Ball – Scene 10.1: Planet Vegeta, Saiyan Palace [Throne Room]
After leaving Mauka behind under the care of Raditz, Bardock immediately heads to meet King Vegeta III and to give him his report as well as to tell him what he encountered on Cereal, but is planning on omitting specific details from it like the Namekian Monaito and the Dragon Balls; however both Prince Vegeta IV and his attendant, Nappa are there which Bardock didn't want it to be, but unfortunately his report couldn't wait. After telling him everything, the King is furious to hear that a "Rogue" Frieza Force Warriors "Killed" the queen which also infuriated the prince and his attendant. Bardock also told them that Princess Mauka was there as well and he has her in a safe location which scares King Vegeta for her safety, but in order to maintain appearances, he remains his usual coldhearted self.
King Vegeta:
So my daughter found her way back to this world? Do me a favor and keep her away from the palace. If those who killed my queen are still around, they will go after her as well.
Bardock:
After what the Namekian told me, I will agree with that assessment.
King Vegeta:
Answer me, Bardock – Why were they on Cereal?
Bardock:
I have no idea. But if you must know, the Namekian had nothing to do with the queen's demise.
King Vegeta:
Worry not. I am aware where the Namekian stand in all of this. You are dismissed.
(Kid) Vegeta:
Wait! I want to see my sister. Take me to her.
Nappa:
Yeah. We want to make sure she's safe.
King Vegeta:
Very well. Bardock! My son will accompany you back home. I want him to see his sister one last time before she leaves the planet.
Bardock:
As you wish. But how do you know she will leave the planet?
King Vegeta:
The Namekian will come for her when he is done doing whatever he is doing.
Bardock:
I see. You and the Namekian have a deal going.
King Vegeta:
Don't make me forget you are a valuable asset, Bardock or I will not hesitate to rid of you myself.
Those words infuriates Bardock, but holds back as he doesn't want to make an enemy out of the king…yet. Bardock is followed by both Prince Vegeta and Nappa closely as he wonders if it is a good idea for them to reunite with the princess.
Dragon Ball – Scene 10.2: Planet Vegeta, Meat Distribution Center
While on her break, Gine is the backroom crying her eyes out, remembering Esharotto and the others on the time they all spent together training under Sax. All of the laughter and promises that have gone are still in her mind repeating itself over and over like a painful descry. As Gine calms down and exits the backroom, she sees Fasha standing in waiting for her to get out and as soon as she sees her friend, the Hardened Fasha breaks down and hugs Gine, sobbing her eyes out that Esharotto, her rival and friend is "Gone" that Gine can't help but to cry herself yet again. After calming down, they both walk back to Gine's home through an isolated area where there's barely anyone around; Gine notices that Fasha is still saddened on what has happened that as a good friend that she is, she talks to Fasha…
Gine:
(Sad Giggle)
I bet she's bragging that she's getting training by the gods right now. Which means she'll get even stronger when we see her again.
Fasha:
(Furious)
That's not even funny, Gine! Esharotto Is Gone!! AND SHE NEVER COMING BACK!!!
Gine:
(Saddened)

Fasha:
(Saddened)
I'm sorry, Gine. But…I'm a little pissed right now that I will snap by anything at a drop of a hat.
Gine:
What will you do when you meet up with Mauka-Chan?
Fasha:
(Sad Chuckle)
So…she really did gave her that name. She was such a softy while you were around. I kept telling her to be more tough on you since you need to get stronger. But no, she had to baby you all the time when we were living under Sax-Sensei instead of toughing you up.
Gine:
She acted like a big sister to all of us.
Fasha:
(Annoyed Yet Sad Stare)

It's just like Sax-Sensei says is true…It's always the good ones that passes away too soon than everyone else.

Who did this, Gine!? Who killed Esharotto!? Bardock found Mauka-Chan, so he must know and told you who did it!
Gine:
I'm sorry, Fasha. When Bardock found her, Sax-Sensei already helped drive the killer off.
Fasha:
(Surprised)
Sax-Sensei…saved her!? Then why didn't he bring her back or saved Esharotto? Why didn't he—?
Gine:
Bardock doesn't know, but maybe Mauka-Chan might.
Fasha:
Then what are we waiting for!? Let's go meet Mauka-Chan! I want to see her!
Gine smiles and nod at Fasha as they head back to where Mauka is. Gine thinks to herself that Fasha might be feeling guilty in not being by Esharotto's side when she needed her the most; or maybe it is that Fasha might be jealous that both Gine & Esharotto have kids and Fasha being a few years older than them both, is jealous that 2 Saiyan Girls younger than she is has beaten her in having a family. In Fasha's heart, she wants to meet Mauka to see if she is anything like Esharotto was.
Dragon Ball – Scene 10.3: Planet Vegeta [Unknown Location]
From very on high, 5 mysterious figures of different sizes and shapes are looking down at the Saiyans with sinister smiles and laughter.

Dragon Ball – Scene 10.4: Planet Vegeta, Bardock Family Home
While spending time with one another, Mauka and Raditz get to know each other with Kaiga glaring at Raditz with murderous intent as they are having fun next to Kakarotto and Hanasia's birthing pods. Mauka can't takes her eyes off both of the Saiyan Babies, especially Kakarotto as he looks like Bardock and just like many Saiyan her age and Raditz, all look up to Bardock in admiration. Suddenly they all hear a loud noise nearby that the three of them head out to see what is going on and they see what was happening. Once outside, they see Turles getting beaten up by a group of Saiyan Hoodlums that Mauka jumps in to help him and begrudgingly, so too both Raditz and Kaiga. After fighting off the Saiyan Attackers from Turles, Mauka reaches her hand to him only for him to hesitate in grabbing it, but does so because he doesn't want to be on their Bad Side especially Kaiga's since he has taken a fancy to her.
Mauka:
Are you alright?
(Kid) Turles:
I'm fine. Are you by any chance the princess?
Mauka:
Indeed, but we should talk more inside. We do not want a repeat of what just happened.
Kaiga:
(Death Glare At Turles)
I object, Mauka-Sama! This creep is not to be trusted!
Mauka:
As Raditz told us, he his reliable.
(Kid) Turles:
I am, My Lady. I have helped Raditz many times before.
Mauka:
(Notices Insincere Tone, Offended, Annoyed, Fake Smile)
I see. Glad To Make MY Acquaintance...Turtle.
Mauka gets back inside the house meanwhile Kaiga sneers humorously and Raditz shrugs it off in the same manner as they follow her back in. Turles is annoyed that Mauka managed to see through him as he wonder if it is her eyes that gave him away, but unknown to him and most in the universe, the People of Brench have taught her how to be a better judge of character. As time went on, Mauka got to know both Raditz & Turles a lot better now thanks to their interactions and as time went on, Mauka really likes being around Raditz as she finds him endearing meanwhile Turles gives her the opposite effect, but can't bring herself to hate him since he's still young and have time to change for the better. The reason she doesn't like Turles that much is because he is using Raditz in order to get close to Bardock instead of actually befriending Raditz like a real true fan. At one point, Turles insulted Raditz in a way Mauka was about to take matters into her own hands, but at that moment Gine and Fasha arrive back home. Upon seeing Mauka, Fasha is taken aback as she notices that the princess looks just like Esharotto except that Mauka's eyes are Sapphire Blue and her hair as shiny as Nion, but still relevantly spiky that Fasha was about to get emotional here, but manages to hold back and stay strong in front of everyone, especially Mauka as Fasha doesn't want to look weak in front of her.
Fasha:
(Emotional, Hiding Emotions Behind Confident Demeanor)
So you are the Princess? You're a pretty cute kid.
Mauka:
(Excited, Fangirling)
You are Fasha-San! One of the Strongest Female Saiyans in the entire planet!
Fasha:

Mauka-Sama has kept tabs on everyone that peaked her interest and father did just that. So it's obvious she knows you, Fasha-San.

Cooler's Armored Squadron and the Ginyu Force! I really love those fighting poses!

I hope Mauka-Sama doesn't tell them how she rank them. That could cause a lot of problems. If I remember it right…Cooler's Armored Squadron is her #1 since it's her home squad, Ginyu Force is #2 and Team Bardock is #3…And all of that because of their Fighting Poses. That's the reason why Team Bardock is dead last – No Fighting Poses.
Mauka:
I really like you and your team, but…the Ginyu Force and Cooler's Armored Squadron have Fighting Poses, but the Armored Squadron have the better poses since they are 3-Man Team. If the Ginyu Force were to lose a team member, their Fighting Poses would be very out of sync!
Kaiga:
(Facepalm, Thinking, Ashamed)

Fasha:

Meanwhile on Earth at Capsule Corp, Esharotto, now known as Battle Maid Stockings is babysitting Bulma who is watching her favorite Super Sentai Show and is in awe by the Heroes' Fighting Poses that Bulma, knowing how powerful her Battle Maid is, asks Stockings to strike a pose just like her favorite characters. At first Stockings was against it, but upon seeing Bulma making a sad face (Similar to Bra doing it to Vegeta far too many times which everyone laughs at the Saiyan Prince as he scoff annoyingly, but slightly blushes as he knows it is true); the maid gives in and starts performing a number of poses that even Stockings is enjoying it. For the next following years, Stockings' Fighting Poses will overshadow both Cooler's Armored Squadron and the Ginyu Force combined, but that is a story for another time…

Suddenly, everyone except Mauka is suddenly feeling a chill down their spine for some unknown reason which confuses Mauka on why they shivered unexpectedly.
Mauka:
Are you alright?
Fasha:
Just a little weather shift. Pretty normal around here.
Mauka:
But Kaiga felt it and I didn't. Why—?
Kaiga:
Remember that I'm Half-Saiyan, Mauka-Sama. I can sense things you normally can't.
Mauka:
(Angry, Hiding Anger Behind Scary Shining Blue Eyes & Evil Sneer)
You are not lying to me are you, Kai~Ga~Chan?
Kaiga:
(Bowing Frantically In Mercy, Scared Beyond Belief)

Holy—! That's Esharotto's Angry Tone! That brings back a lot of scary memories.

During their training with Sax over a decade ago, whenever Gine and the others angered Esharotto, she would sneak up upon them and say their name slowly in a very scary way. The girls would turn around only to be slapped by her as she looked like a demon when she retaliated on them. Except Fasha who actually got punched instead because she was the oldest and Nion gets a pinch on the arm since she was the youngest.

Upon remembering this, both Gine and Fasha are worried for anyone who will get close to Mauka as she grows up. Fasha clears her throat and with a confident smile, asks Mauka if they can tell her everything they know about her mom which excites her that she asks Fasha and Gine to tell the stories to her. For a few hours, Mauka is in awe hearing all about her mom and after finishing their story, Fasha looks at Mauka and see that she is sad because Esharotto is gone. Upon hearing this and looking at Kaiga, Turles notices something here that makes the Queen similar to Frieza: They both have capable, talented and responsible inner circle of attendants and warriors. Turles starts to wonder if he will find his own circle of warriors like that one day that will reach the same level or even surpass Bardock's Fame.
Fasha:
Will you be alright, Mauka-Chan?
Mauka:
(Saddened, Normal Eyes)
Yes. Mama…she was wonderful…
Gine:
(Sad Smile)
Yes, yes she was. Me and Fasha wouldn't be here if it wasn't for her.
Fasha:
And you look just like her because you are her daughter. Since that's the case, we know you'll grow up to be just like her. The only thing we want is for you to be as strong and kind as she was. Promise us that you will do so.
Mauka:

(Looks At Everyone Including Looks At Kakarotto & Hanasia)

Upon hearing Bardock's voice they all went to greet the Saiyan Warrior, however they were not expecting to see Vegeta and Nappa with him, especially Mauka as she looks away from his brother because she feels guilty that their mother was taken from them; Nappa approaches and kneels to her as he is sorrowful for the supposed death of the queen.
Nappa:
Hime-Sama. I am glad you are safe and sound. I am…sorry for what happened your mother, the queen.
Mauka:
It's my fault she…
(Kid) Vegeta:
Who was it that killed her? Our mother was the Strongest Female Saiyan of them all, there is no way she would fall at the hands of 1 enemy.
Mauka:
Even if that enemy was…Zarbon?
Everyone:
(Surprised)

(Kid) Vegeta:

Are you sure about that? Accusing an Elite Warrior comes with dangerous consequences. Even if you have evidence, Frieza Soldiers have the right to confront their accusers in a Trial by Combat. Killing the Accuser is considered as them getting acquitted.
Mauka:
That's no different than Saiyan Law.
(Kid) Vegeta:
(Scoff)
True, but one day that will change once I become the Legendary Super Saiyan.
Mauka:
(Annoyed)
That's a myth, Nii-Sama. Any fool that obsesses over that stupid idea always end up getting killed.

I…I see…She…she saw her mom die right before her eyes. The amount of grief almost awakened it if the Namekian didn't stop her. By my calculations he made the right choice. Mauka-Sama is not strong enough to control that power; and if it's anything like being an Ozaru or in her Primal Form, then she would have killed us all. I want Mauka-Sama to be the Strongest in the Universe, but I don't want her beautiful Smile and Kindness to disappear…or worse…she hating me for making her suffer just to get this power.
(Kid) Vegeta:
(Surprised, Hiding Surprise Behind Annoyed Demeanor)
Then prove it by fighting me. If I win, then I will disown you and no longer see you as my sister!
Nappa:
(Annoyed)
Oi, Vegeta! Now that's going too far!! Your Father would not approve this!!!
(Kid) Vegeta:

Nappa is stuttering. That means he knows something he isn't allowed to speak. It must be a very big secret that he's this scared of speaking of Prince Tarble.
Mauka:
HOW DARE YOU!!! I Won't Forgive You From Insulting Both Father And Tarble Like That!!!
(Kid) Vegeta:
Then fight me! If you win, I will take back my words. You lose and I will follow on with my promise in disowning you.
Phase 1:
Vs. (Kid) Prince Vegeta IV
They all head out behind the house, but before the fight could start, Bardock's teammates arrives at the scene with the exception of Leek and Taro who are taking a break after the last mission. Tora, Shugesh and Borgos are speechless seeing both Vegeta and Mauka readying up for battle as Nappa desperately tries to stop them, only to get scorned by the Royal Twins as they are determined to settle this dispute. Before starting the fight, Mauka strikes a Stylish Fighting Pose that at first everyone were ashamed of her, but upon seeing the finished posed, they are in awe on how beautiful she looks; however the Saiyans weren't the only ones seeing the pose as one of the mysterious warriors saw it while passing by. He found it exciting, he decided to get his fellow teammates and bring them there. Vegeta is disgusted seeing his Twin Sister making a fool of herself by wanting to imitate both Cooler's Armored Squadron and the Ginyu Force that he decides to show her no mercy and hit her with everything he has. They both ready themselves for battle, but since Vegeta is annoyed at Nappa's pleas, he decides not to kill her or scar her badly.
Everyone is worried for Mauka as Vegeta's Power Level is over 14,000 and close to 15,000 meanwhile everyone notices that Mauka's Power Level is lower than Raditz's. Kaiga laughs and tells them that a wise warrior (Cooler, who she will never tell them his name openly) taught her that numbers on a screen doesn't decide the battle. They all wanted to laugh on how stupid that sounds, but they also felt that there was some truth to that as they have fought other warriors that managed to fool their own Scouter Readings in the middle of a battle many times before on very rare occasions. Vegeta starts the fight by snap-vanishing behind Mauka, but she anticipated it as she does a very high backflip, jumping over the prince and fires a Galick Beam at him, but Vegeta backhands it away with no effort and fires his own Galick Beam at her, but Mauka manages to dodge it just as easily. Mauka quickly starts using the techniques she learned all this time in Planet Brench, but unlike all who fought her before, Vegeta manages to counter every single one of her attacks that neither her and Kaiga could believe it. As the fight continues, Vegeta manages to counter all of Mauka's attacks almost as he was reading her mind, something that not even Salza, whose intellect is one of the highest in the universe, couldn't keep up with Mauka's Unique Fighting Style. For the entire fight, Vegeta is dominating Mauka and sadly the fight ends with Mauka losing to Vegeta hitting her with a weak version of his Galick Gun that highly damages Mauka's Armor, chipping both V-Shape Shoulder guards and shredding her skintight suit, but she only gets some slight bruises out of it. Vegeta walks to her, stretches out his hand that appears he's going to blast her, but then closes his hand and walks away.
(Kid) Vegeta:
You did well, Mauka. Even though you are leagues weaker than me, you have proven yourself to truly be a Saiyan Princess. As promise I hereby disown you.
Mauka:
(Saddened)
...…
Everyone:
(Furious, Glares At Vegeta)
...…
(Kid) Vegeta:
(Scoffs Annoyingly)
However…get stronger for next time we fight. If you prove yourself…
(Smiles At Mauka)
…I'll recognize you as my sister once more – Saiyan Princess Mauka.

(Smiling)

How sweet of you, Veggie-Chan. It's nice seeing you treat your sibling like that. I don't have a sibling of my own, but my men are like my younger siblings; so I truly understand how you feel.

Gine looks at her notebook and tells them all the coordinates as Bardock, Tora and Fasha are surprise as what these coordinates are. These Coordinates are actually a special stomping ground for the four of them. Bardock and Tora wonders why Gine chose that place, but Fasha knows why. Since Mauka might not stay on Planet Vegeta for long, she wants to show the Princess, Esharotto's "Happy Place", Her Paradise.

While relaxing on his private hot springs, Cooler subtly sighs in relief but is still worried for Mauka and Kaiga since they haven't been found yet as communicated to him by Bonyu who is there updating him about the situation as she notices that Cooler is behaving rather odd; expecting any news related to Mauka and he hopes it is Good News.
Bonyu:
Are you well, Cooler-Sama?
Cooler:
(Serious Stare)
What are you insinuating, Bonyu?
Bonyu:
Nothing, my lord. But…Permission To Speak Freely, Cooler-Sama?
Cooler:

Bonyu:
You seem more interested in her now than Artyk, who so happens to be your pupil. Why is that?
Cooler:
Humph! What I am about to say does NOT leave this room. Understand?

Mauka and Artyk…I feel that they are two sides of the same coin. Both of them have the potential to rule the universe instead of Frieza or myself.

I can understand why everyone within my Clan and Race wants Artyk to be my successor. However…I noticed that the People of Brench desire Mauka to be my successor. What do you think of Mauka, Bonyu?
Bonyu:
I will admit that Mauka-Chan is a very unique little sheila. Even I find her to be a very special one. Strange, but Special. Even though I told her that she would grow out of loving Fighting Poses…
(Soft Chuckle)

Cooler:

As I stated – I want both Mauka and Artyk to rule the Universe together as Equals. For I see me and Frieza...we won't be around forever, therefore the Universe will be up for grabs for the likes of the Heeters to usurp our history and legacy.
Bonyu:

Cooler:
Indeed. I believe Mauka and Artyk are by far the most worthiest successors I can think of. Mauka was born into Royalty, thus she does posses the gift to rule a kingdom as a Queen like her family before her. Meanwhile Artyk was born into a Family of Heretics, fallen from the grace of "Our" ancestor, Chilled.
Bonyu:
(Shocked)
Cor Blimey! Are you saying that Artyk is a distant relative to you and Frieza-Sama!?
Cooler:
Indeed. I was in shock myself upon learning the truth. Salza found it for me as I asked him to look more into the young lad. That was before you came to be my secretary, however we kept this secret upon ourselves as we did not want Father nor Frieza to know of this if the word got to them by either accident or deliberate. As they would hunt him down and end him. The reason for that is came as one of Chilled offspring make a secret pact with Beerus-Sama. The details of that pact is a mystery, but that was all the more reason to imprison, torture and kill him. He did so in front of his son as well as the entire Clan and Race so none would do so again.
Bonyu:
Bloody Hell! If that's true my lord then why keep Artyk around?
Cooler:
I told you before – he has a potential that rivals not only my own, but Frieza as well. Nevertheless that potential is naught but an infant sprout at the moment. Before Mauka came along, it was naught but a dormant seed not yet planted on the ground. That fight between them awoke the potential he always had and the more he seeks her out, the more powerful he will become. However…Mauka, even though powerful in her own right, cannot control her Primal State, thus she is not at the level to help Artyk's power evolve beyond Frieza or Myself. In order to Mauka be Artyk's True Rival…She needs to awaken…As A Super Saiyan. In order to help her attain that power she needs to be safe until she can become one. When Mauka comes of Age, I plan on giving her this Solar System for her to rule; as for Artyk, he will get everything else.
Bonyu:
(Worried)
If that is your wish my lord, I will support you.
Unknown to them, Artyk was eavesdropping on everything Cooler said and is in shock himself as well as disgusted on what he heard about Mauka being the only one to unlock his true potential. However he does notices that he is more driven because of her. Not to give his Master the benefit of the doubt, but he will play along out of curiosity.
Artyk:
So Mauka will unlock my full potential? I refuse to believe that filthy monkey can help me reach my full power. But…if my ancestor really colluded with Beerus-Sama on something…I have no choice but to get stronger in order to learn the truth on why my side of my family are branded "Heretics". Depending on Beerus-Sama's Words…if it's something selfish, I will make amends with Mauka-Chan and try to find common ground. However…if Beerus-Sama reveals something despicable against our Race and Clan…I…will not hesitate to kill you and your entire family…Cooler-Sama…
