Episode 14: (Son Goku Saga) Goku & Mauka’s Sibling Zeal

Dragon Ball – Scene 14.0: Earth, Southeast Mountain Area [Son Family Home], 7:12 AM, Age 747

"My Name…Is Mauka of Vegeta. It's been 10 years since I started living on Earth with the goal of locating the Family of a Great Saiyan Warrior. I do not know if he managed to survive or not when the Emperor of the Universe, Frieza destroyed my World, Kingdom and Exterminated 99% of My People. I managed to find the oldest of the Twins, Kakarotto who was found by a Kind Old Earthling named Son Gohan who I believe is the strongest warrior in the entire planet. However…we were able to find Kakarotto because his Space Pod's Tracking Beacon. As for his Mother, Gine and Twin Sister, Hanasia, their Space Pod Tracking Beacon was damaged during Atmospheric Entry of the planet and lost them. Fortunately we know that their pods made it into the planet as the hull of the pods were stable during the atmospheric entry before losing their signal. I took it upon myself to stay on Earth to locate them. In order to blend in among the Earthlings, I requested Grandpa Gohan to give me an Earth Name: "Magi Negi". It was a stupid name, but it grew on me and decided to keep it. I also needed to wear Earthling Clothes, but Grandpa's Fashion Sense is too…Meh! His type of clothing are comfortable, but the style leaves much to be desire. Luckily the outfits in Orange City are higher on the style and since I was raised by the Armored Squadron back on Planet Brench, I was taught to "Do It With Style Or Don't Do It At All". It is the code of not only the Squadron, but also the Ginyu Force as well. I met an Earthling named Blade whose age and power rivals my own, but I highly doubt he can beat Grandpa. I also saw a beautiful orange ball with 4 Stars that Grandpa had. I wanted it as a necklace, but for some reason it feels wrong to do so. I decided not to go through with it."

"Days later, Kakarotto had an accident while he and Grandpa were looking for food. When Grandpa was helping Kakarotto, they were attacked by monsters known as Bio-Organic Weapons or B.O.W.s for short. Fortunately Grandpa's Power was more than enough to take care of these monsters, but I wanted revenge for what they tried to do to them. I found out that the one behind them was a man named Albert Wesker; a Bio-Terrorist that failed to conquer his own reality using a very deadly virus named Uroboros. I managed to defeat the B.O.W.s that attacked Grandpa and Kakarotto as well as his strongest one: Tyrant. But…I didn't defeat Tyrant on my own. I had help by a Precious, Wonderful, Adorable, Lovable Creature with the ability to Shapeshift. However…Wesker managed to get away as his Super Speed caught me completely off-guard especially that my scouter read that his Power Level is 5, but I didn't account that he was a Mutant that underwent a forced evolution in order to attain that power. I got too cocky because I thought Earth could not produce Mutants with the ability to hide their true power. I forgot Cooler-Sama's #1 rule: "Never Trust The Numbers On A Screen As They Might Be An Illusion…Hiding Your Enemy's True Power." That is a mistake I will not repeat anytime soon. After that day I made it my mission to hunt down and end Wesker before I resume my search for Gine-San and Hanasia. I wonder…Gine-San has a power level between 1,000 and 2,000. How did she managed to hide her power like it's nothing? Even with Grandpa Gohan's training, I learned to sense the power levels of others so long as they are high enough, but even so…I can't sense anyone with that high of a power. Now that I remember…just like Mother, Mama Nion and Fasha-San…Gine-San was trained by the Namekian, Sax-Sensei. So he could have taught them on how to hide their power as there were rumors on Planet Vegeta of the Namekian knowing skills and techniques from every corner of the universe which also includes Yardrat."

"I also decided to call "Kakarotto" by his Earth Name "Goku" from now on as any trace of his Violent Saiyan Heritage disappeared after he suffered that hit on the head on the day of his accident. Sadly Cooler-Sama overheard everything through my Custom Scouter, so he ordered everyone to retrieve me & Goku and forget the search for Gine-San & Hanasia. Luckily Grandpa Gohan managed to convince Salza-Taichou to tell Cooler-Sama to make frequent visits to Earth and to lower it to once a month. The girls would all come along with either Doola or Niyusu as chaperon and they all are very smitten with Goku on how innocent he is as they call him Mini-Bardock from time to time on how much he looks like the Captain and he's so cute & adorable to boot. Of course I get pissed off when they call him Kakarotto which is NOT HIS NAME ANYMORE!!! [Clears Throat] Sorry about that. Ark and Saturnalia would also pay us a visit, but they mostly spend time with me more than Grandpa & Goku and for some reason…it feels like I'm with a loving Uncle and Aunt…it feels…really nice. Ever since then, I surveyed the entire mountain area for the past 10 years looking for that Blonde Bastard, but never found a trace of him or any of his B.O.W.s. But I did find the creature that saved me, so I decided to approach it and thank it for saving me just like I promised Ark…No…Uncle Ark. Yes…He's my uncle…and Saturnalia is my aunt…but…I feel that they are much more than that. I really don't know why…"

(Teen) Mauka:

Yes, I can and my name is Voidotte De Nyanpyon, but everyone calls me Void.

(Teen) Mauka:

How can you shapeshift like that?

Voidotte:

I was living here, training to be part of Southern Transformation Kindergarten also known as Shapeshifting Academy. This area was my home until those monsters showed up that I decided to go to the academy earlier than I wanted to.

(Teen) Mauka:

Voidotte? You are a girl?

Voidotte:

I am, Mauka-Sama.

(Teen) Mauka:

You know my name?

Voidotte:

Forgive me, Mauka-Sama. I eavesdrop your conversation with that Wesker fellow.

(Teen) Mauka:

So you heard everything. Then you should come with me. If Wesker is aware of you, then he'll hunt you down and I would be heartbroken if something were to happen to you.

With those words, Mauka convinces Voidotte to follow her home as her friend. Meanwhile back home, Kid Goku is fishing for dinner and manages to catch a fish big enough to feed all 3 of them, but as he makes his way back home, he encounters Nadia and the girls as soon as they get there and they are happy to see each other.

(Teen) Nadia:

(Smiling)

Hey there, Goku-Chan. Is Mau—I mean…is Negi-Chan home?

(Kid) Goku:

Hey Onee-Chans! No, Sis is looking for fruit, meat and wood right now. She's been a little stressed lately. Even our sparring matches lately have been a little painful.

(Teen) Girls:

(Sad Sigh)

(Kid) Goku:

(Confused)

(Teen) Mako:

(Teen) Girls:

(Annoyed)

(Teen) Mako:

I keep forgetting Mauka-Chan doesn't want us to call him that anymore.

Sorry! I mean, Goku. You see…Ma—Negi-Chan's birthday is coming up and she doesn't have that many good memories of it.

(Kid) Goku:

Sis' Birthday is coming up!?

(Teen) Kei:

That's right, Goku-Chan. If you want, you can help us setup a surprise party for her. I'm sure she would be overjoyed if you celebrate it with her.

(Kid) Goku:

Yeah! I wanna make Sis happy! What can I do!?

(Teen) Ina:

Negi-Chan loves the food and the clothing of this planet. We will try to appropriate some of the items from the city.

(Teen) Kaiga:

(Annoyed)

Oi! Negi-Sama doesn't want Goku going there and she'll kill us if we let him come with us, ya know.

(Teen) Kei:

(Saddened)

Ara Ara…Now how will Goku-Chan help us set the surprise party?

(Teen) Nadia:

What does Negi-Chan likes from around here that Goku-Chan doesn't need to come with us to the city? Do you know something she likes from around here, Goku-Chan?

(Kid) Goku:

There's a fruit that only grows in a place that she doesn't want me to go. But I did and I know where it is.

(Teen) Nadia:

(Worried, Defeated Sigh)

Negi-Chan will kill us for this but…get the fruit, Goku-Chan. We'll get what we can from the city. Luckily Negi-Chan taught us the customs of this place, so hopefully we will do well. Let's go.

(Kid) Goku:

Wait! Can I ask you a question, Nadia-Nee?

(Teen) Nadia:

Yes, Goku-Chan?

(Kid) Goku:

(Teen) Girls:

(Shocked, Thinking)

(Blushing, Glee Attitude)

WHO CARES!!! HE'S SO INNOCENT IT'S TOO CUTE SEEING HIM LIKE THIS!!!

(Teen) Nadia:

(Thinking, Blushing, Ashamed, Hiding Blush Behind Facepalm)

What is Mauka-Chan teaching this kid!? I know he needs to know how to fight since he's a Saiyan like us, but come on! You need to teach him about the world, Mauka-Chan! Sheltering him will only cause problems in the future. I'm going to have stern talk with both her and Gohan about this. But Damn! He's Just So Cute Like This It's Downright Criminal!

As the girls head to Orange City, Goku heads to the mountain area Mauka forbid him to go and arrives at the spot where the fruit is found as he starts to collect a bag full of it. However while he is collecting the fruit, Goku is attacked by a group of skinless ugly-looking monster with no eyes, exposed brain, a tongue as long as an anaconda and large claws that can cut down a very thick tree in one swipe. Goku manage to fight them off using his Grandpa's Power Pole, but the monster are relentless that the Young Saiyan Child was forced to kill them. After finishing them off, Goku makes graves for all of them and say a prayer to the dead monsters as he takes his leave with the bag of fruit. But unknown to him, Wesker was surveying the area as he was hoping for Mauka to show up, but the data he collected from this battle between Goku and his N-Virus enhanced Licker Models, he sees this as a good trial run to start mass producing more N-Virus B.O.W. Models.

Meanwhile in the city, the girls successfully gathered all they need to make Mauka her surprise party as they met Grandpa Gohan along the way and helped them gather everything especially that he knows Mauka's tastes since living there with him & Goku, especially that the girls were losing patience with the scammers they were encountering that almost made them destroy the city out of sheer rage. The girls are grateful and thankful that Grandpa Gohan is taking good care of both Goku & Mauka as he protected them from becoming wanted criminals on Earth. When they all got home, they all started to decorate the inside of their new expanded house as Ina and Mako start making the food as they learned how to cook from Rogue Chef Melone of the Frieza Force. Mauka returns home with Voidotte later that night and is worried on why the lights in the house are off which makes her assume that Wesker attacked them. Fortunately thanks to Grandpa Gohan, Mauka just like Goku, their senses are heightened as she doesn't smell blood in the area except something she wasn't expecting: The Smell Of Her Favorite Fruit which makes her happy and angry at the same time. Mauka enters the house and turns on the lights as everyone screams "Surprise!" to her as she sees a large cake decorated with her favorite fruit: Raspberries all over the cake. Mauka is overjoyed and furious at the same time because she knows who went to get it and how to find them, but she stays calm to in order not to ruin the moment they all work so hard to become a reality.

The celebration lasted for hours long into the night that Goku fell asleep since he's still a child as Grandpa Gohan put him to bed with the help of Voidotte as Mauka says thank you to the girls, but don't ever do it again as she only allowed them to celebrate her birthday because she saw how much fun and happy Goku was. Next time she will blast them with a Full Power Galick Gun as they all laugh and leave back home to Planet Brench. The next day, Mauka karate chops Goku over the head and reprimands him for getting the raspberries as she tells him that great dangers lurk there, but lets him off the hook because of the large haul of raspberries he got for her as Goku laughs for he is happy that he made his Big Sis happy. However Goku asks Mauka why is she always going there and she tells him not to get involved or he'll will be dealing with her himself. Grandpa Gohan convinces Mauka to tell him what is happening around there as Mauka sighs annoyingly as she admits defeat and tells Goku what is going on. She tells him about Wesker and his B.O.W.s as they are swarming the mountain. After fighting off those skinless monsters earlier, Goku's Saiyan Blood starts to boil in excitement as he wants to fight Wesker and his monsters too, both but Grandpa Gohan and Mauka forbids him to go there again without them accompanying him, much less at night. Annoyed by this, Goku doesn't want to do it, but he loves both his Grandpa and Big Sis, but fears her greatly so he has no choice but to do what they tell him to do.

For weeks life continued as normal, but Goku has been sneaking in and out at night to look for Wesker, however one night, Goku looked at the Full Moon for the first time and transforming into an Ozaru. It was a hard battle, but Grandpa Gohan and Mauka with the help of Voidotte managed to subdue him without killing him by using the lullaby Mauka always sing to him (Claire's Lullaby/Shana's Theme From The Legend Of Dragoon), but it was a struggle that almost cost them their lives. Great Ape Goku managed to cause a lot of damage around their home that the next day when he regained consciousness and is in shock of what his surroundings look like now. Goku asks what happened and if was Wesker the one who did this. Mauka knows that since Goku is a Low Class Saiyan, he doesn't remember anything after transforming into an Ozaru, so she, Voidotte and Grandpa Gohan don't tell him the truth or that Wesker was behind this. If they tell him it was Wesker, Goku might go gun-ho after him even more and that's the last thing they want; if they tell him it was him, who knows what trauma they might create that will define the rest of his life in a negative way, so they tell him that it was a different monster: A Great Ape. Goku does the unexpected for both his Grandpa and Big Sis: He's Excited To Fight A Giant Ape which worries both of his elders. Wesker sees an opportunity here to take advantage of Goku's Ozaru Form to test out a brand new B.O.W. he created using his new N-Virus as Wesker looks at a Female Tyrant-Like Monster that resembles Mauka as he calls her his "Perfected Beauty" as he laughs heinously.

Phase 1:

Nightmare Link 2 – Mauka Vs. The Mastermind

One month later, life is rather peaceful for the Saiyans living with their Grandpa Gohan especially that Mauka is enjoying the raspberries that Goku got for her on her birthday that she's is rationing it so Goku doesn't go get more as Voidotte is keeping tabs on him now after what happened. One night on a Full Moon, Wesker decides to go all out on by sending his catalog of Outdated B.O.W.s to attack Grandpa Gohan, Goku and Mauka as Voidotte helps from a distance. They manage to destroy the last of Wesker's B.O.W.s, bringing them to complete extinction of all of the monsters created by using the T-Virus in the Dreamscape Dragon Universe. Wesker claps in delight seeing Mauka overtake his Bio-Weapons even though she didn't do it on her own as Goku and Grandpa Gohan took out far more numbers than Mauka as she was only focusing on trying to find Wesker than fighting his Monsters.

Wesker:

Well Done, Mauka. Your abilities are off the charts. Now I have to make new charts for you my dear.

(Teen) Mauka:

Looks like you are on your own, creep! Time for you to face the music!

Wesker:

Before we go there, my dear…Son Goku? Have you notice that even though it is night time, it is as bright as day time?

Mauka, Grandpa Gohan and Voidotte are shocked as Goku's curiosity gets the best of him and looks at the moon just as Wesker duped him to look up, forcing him to go undergo the Ozaru Transformation. Mauka tries to stop him by knocking him out, but much to her shock, she is stopped by Wesker's Newest B.O.W. created combining the N-Virus with a Modified T-103 with Mauka's DNA: A Clone of herself that resembles the one from her nightmare. While Mauka fights her clone, Grandpa Gohan with the help of Voidotte, try to subdue the Rampaging Great Ape Goku. Mauka has a hard time fighting the monster, but thanks to Grandpa Gohan's training and her sparring session with Goku, she manages to keep up with it unlike the first Tyrant she faced off against. Suddenly she hears a scream from Voidotte: Great Ape Goku just crushed Grandpa Gohan underfoot as this makes her remember on how she failed to save her mother as she snaps and goes berserk on her Clone, instantly killing it with a Kamehameha, taught to her by Grandpa Gohan as the skill is slightly stronger than her Family's Galick Gun as she needed to end the fight as fast as possible in order to stop the Out-Of-Control Goku. Wesker doesn't intervene and decides to watch the fight from a safe distance. Mauka tries to keep Great Ape Goku under control, but even with Voidotte's help, the task proves to difficult without Grandpa Gohan that Great Ape Goku smacks her around like a fly. Wesker, seeing that Mauka is being too soft against her foster brother, attacks Great Ape Goku to draw his attention and makes the Ozaru follow him as the Mastermind is leading Great Ape Goku to Orange City in order to destroy it. Mauka notices this and desperately hits him with everything she has as she finally subdues him by singing her lullaby as Voidotte restrained him. Seeing this, Wesker is annoyed that Mauka didn't kill Goku and hopes she will "Comes Around" to her true self.

The next day, Goku wakes up to see the destruction both Wesker's B.O.W.s and unknowingly his Ozaru Form which also got Grandpa Gohan Killed. Goku looks around in fear, but he manages to see Mauka and Voidotte sleeping besides him with tears in their eyes and a note next to Mauka, he opens it and Ark appears along with Saturnalia (Chronoa) with a sad look on their faces. They explain everything but leaving out Goku's involvement in all of it in his Ozaru Form and made it clear that it wasn't Wesker that killed Grandpa Gohan. They also told them that Grandpa Gohan wanted Goku to have 4-Star Ball and avoided mentioning him that it is a Dragon Ball. Upon seeing its shiny glow and sensing its faint energy within them, Goku believes that Grandpa Gohan's Soul is within it. Mauka & Voidotte wakes up and see Ark & Saturnalia (Chronoa) with Goku that Mauka breaks down and starts to bawl her eyes out as she hugs Goku and Ark, screaming "I'm Sorry…I'm So…So Sorry!!!" as Ark hugs her back. The Real Goku can't help but to tear up himself as deep down he knows how Mauka feels as he sees his younger self crying with her.

Dragon Ball – Scene 14.1: Earth, East City Outskirts [Omori's Island], Sometime In August, Age 749

The next following events took place in Age 749 – January: On New Year's Day, Dr. Mashirito creates Caramel Man 004 named Obotchaman who then destroys the Moon in a similar fashion that Arale once did. January 2, Obotchaman meets Arale and shows her the Earth-Splitter. January 3, the Moon is once again restored. Sometime after January 7, Mashirito creates Caramel Man 005 which disguises him as Senbei Norimaki so he can sabotage Arale. Obotchaman ends up foiling Mashirito's plan and destroying Caramel Man 005 thinking that he was helping Mashirito take out Senbei. Mashirito disowns Obotchaman and kicks him out. Obotchaman finds himself a house to live in and literally picks up and takes Sourman's house while he was away forcing Sourman to live in a tent. Days later, Obotchaman enrolls in Penguin Village High School and becomes part of Daigoro Kurigashira's class. February: Dr. Mashirito creates Caramel Man 006 and 007 to destroy Obotchaman and Arale but his plans end up failing. April: In the first ten days of the month, Bulma enters Senior High School at West City. Sometime after April: Bulma along with Stockings discovers the Two-Star Dragon Ball in her basement. Sometime during Summer: Turbo Norimaki is born. Sometime after he ends up getting killed by an alien spaceship accidentally ramming into him and was revived by the aliens with their technology which ended up giving him the super intelligence, psychic powers and the ability to talk. Sometime after Turbo gets his powers, Senbei Norimaki dies from getting hit in the head with a coconut and Trampire and Franken take him to Other World but Arale ends up going with them as well. In the presence of King Yemma, Arale ends up angering him by throwing Poop on him and decides to send Arale and Senbei to Hell and fire Trampire and Franken. Just before getting onto the ship to Hell, Chivil manages to sneak both of them back into the living world. August 22: Bulma discovers the Five-Star Dragon Ball in a northern cave while being protected by her Battle Maid Stockings.

Sometime after August 22, Tokunoshin Omori, Jaco, Tights and Tamagoro Katayude reunite on Omori's Island for a temporary reunion and are visited by Bulma who was accompanied by her Battle Maid, Stockings. They tell Tights, Omori and Katayude about what Bulma found: "The Legend of the Dragon Balls". If you collect all 7 and summon the Eternal Dragon, Shenron, he'll be able to grant any wish. Since Stockings' Memory is slowly returning, she confirms Bulma's Theory: That the Dragon Balls come from Space as the substance these balls are made of are not found on Earth. Stockings feel that Bulma will be in danger if she journey for the Dragon Balls alone, so she will journey with her in order to protect her, but Bulma ordered her Foster Mother not to get involved from now on until things get real dire as she knows how to defend herself after Stockings taught her some defensive moves; in which Stockings sighs in worry as she tells Bulma that those defensive moves doesn't make her into fighter, much less a warrior. Hearing that from where she's sitting and watching the events in the Dreamscape, Bra looks at her family angrily then quickly looks away pouting like the rich girl she is which all of them smile and think to themselves how cute she is, especially Vegeta. In the Dreamscape, Dream Tights thinks to herself to ask Jaco about the Dragon Balls when he visits again as she still doesn't have the means of communicating with him just yet for a very long time.

Dragon Ball – Scene 14.2: Earth, Southeast Mountain Area [Son Family Home], September 1st, Dawn

Before the first sun-ray, Mauka & Goku wake up and begin eating breakfast. Once they are done, they begin sparring with each other with Mauka winning as she resorts to flying and buffing her muscles a little to get an edge against him; when it comes to physical strength as hers is paper-thin compared to the Male Saiyan Child.

(Teen) Mauka:

(Smug Smile)

I win again, Goku. So it's your turn to get the firewood.

(Kid) Goku:

(Annoyed)

No Fair, Sis! You Cheated By Flying And Pumping Up Your Muscles!

(Teen) Mauka:

Sucks to be you! I keep telling you to practice and master your Ki Control just like Grandpa wanted you to do.

(Kid) Goku:

I know but you aren't that good as a teacher as Grandpa.

(Teen) Mauka:

(Ominous Aura, Scary Demonic Glare, Singsong Voice, "Doom" Background Noise)

Ka…Ka…Rot…Tooo…

(Kid) Goku:

(Scared)

I'm Sorry, Sis! I didn't—

(Teen) Mauka:

(Hugs Goku, Saddened)

I'm sorry, Goku. You are right. I will never be as good as Grandpa was.

(Kid) Goku:

(Smiling, Hugs Mauka)

Don't cry, Sis. Grandpa is here and he's watching us. I know that you will be as good as him one day. So please…smile more from now on. For Grandpa.

(Teen) Mauka:

(Wipe Tears Away)

Thank you…Goku…I needed to hear that…

(Kid) Goku:

(Teen) Mauka:

(Hard Karate Chop On Goku's Head, Furious)

(Annoyed)

OW!!! WHAT WAS THAT FOR!?

(Teen) Mauka:

(Pinch Goku's Cheeks Hard)

YOU REALLY THINK I'LL LET THAT INSULT FROM EARLIER SLIDE!? YOU ARE STILL GREEN!!! NOW GO GET THAT WOOD, YOU PUNK!!!

(Kid) Goku:

(Annoyed, Pouting, Rubbing Cheeks)

(Teen) Mauka:

And Goku?

(Kid) Goku:

(Teen) Mauka:

(Warm Smile)

Don't take too long. I want to treat you to a nice meal tonight. I'll get your seasonings ready for tonight.

(Winks)

Upon Goku hearing that, he happily head to cut a log big enough for him & Mauka as he pick their Grandpa's Saw and takes his leave as Mauka herself is about to start cleaning the house as Ark visits her to see how they are doing. Seeing his Younger Self getting along with Mauka like this, makes Goku feels happy and a bit sad as he sees that having an older sibling with him growing up was actually something he would have enjoyed himself as Raditz puts a hand on his shoulder and looks away in sadness as living on Earth with Lunch [Both Personalities] and having his own family made him remember why he loved being around their parents before Frieza killed them and Most of the Saiyans as he wished he was there with his younger brother during that time.

Ark:

How are you doing, Mauka-Chan?

(Teen) Mauka:

(Smiling)

Goku and me are fine. Even though we have been on our own for 2 years, we are doing fine. Kami…I can't believe it has been that long. I can't believe Cooler-Sama didn't call us back after Grandpa passed away when Wesker attacked us. Nadia and the girls told me it was because I still haven't found Gine-San and Hanasia, but I think someone convinced him of something else entirely.

Ark:

That wouldn't be me or Saturnalia. Neither of us want to interact with Cooler or anyone in the universe other than you personally. But our acquaintance is not that reserved.

(Teen) Mauka:

Who is this acquaintance you two keep talking about?

Ark:

She asked us not to tell as she is a deity that can get angry at the drop of a hat. She claims to be "Rich In Personality".

(Teen) Mauka:

Those who say that are usually right – They Are Rich In Immoral and Rotten Personalities.

I want to thank you for everything, Uncle Ark. You and Aunt Saturnalia have been so good to Goku and me…Especially after Grandpa…

Ark:

(Hugs Mauka, Smiling)

Me and Saturnalia will be there when you need us the most, Mauka-Chan. But if there's a positive growth in your adversity, we will not interfere. You Saiyans grow stronger through adversity. The more you suffer, the stronger you become. The downside of it is…if you let the darkness of that suffering gets a strong grip of your heart…you will become as evil as Frieza which is what Wesker wants for you.

(Teen) Mauka:

That is never going to happen. Goku is my Anchor to maintain my sanity. If he were to die…I don't think I can stay who I am right now.

Ark:

(Teen) Mauka:

Days After Grandpa Gohan's Death, Goku wakes up early in the morning and sees that Mauka is still asleep in her bed, but notices that she has been crying herself to sleep as her face is covered in dry tears. Goku sadly approaches her and starts to pet & gently stroke her head. Much to his surprise, Mauka starts to cry again and quietly calling out to Grandpa Gohan in sorrow which saddens him too as Ark and Saturnalia appear before them.

Ark:

You doing alright, Son Goku?

(Kid) Goku:

I'm fine, but I'm more worried about Sis. She's been like this since Grandpa's Soul move to that ball. She's been hurting a lot.

Ark:

Mauka-Chan…I mean…Negi-Chan has gone through a lot before becoming your sister. She lost her home because of her real name. She lost her mother because of it as well and…she lost her birthright before finding you and your Grandpa.

(Kid) Goku:

Is that why Sis doesn't go by Son Negi?

Ark:

Negi-Chan loves Grandpa Gohan that she didn't want the Son name if the one who took her family away comes looking for her. She could protect him and you if they do come after her…like Wesker has. But unlike Wesker, Negi-Chan's Enemies don't even know you even exist. That's why she embraced the name Magi Negi and not Son Negi. Her enemies are really scary and evil. They are powerful enough to end the world in an instant.

(Kid) Goku:

Then I will protect her! If someone will do her harm, I will fight to keep her safe and happy! I will make sure Wesker and anyone who wants to make her cry like this pay for it!

Ark:

Even if that 1 enemy is powerful enough to destroy the entire planet with 1 finger?

(Kid) Goku:

(Determined Stare)

Yes! I will fight even that 1 enemy to keep her happy!

Ark:

(Smiling)

You love her that much, don't you?

(Kid) Goku:

(Smiling)

She's my Sister. Just like Grandpa, she has always been there for me. I don't want to see her like this anymore. So I will do what I can to make sure she doesn't cry like this ever again.

Goku starts humming the lullaby to Mauka that she would always hum to him which bring tears to everyone that was moved by this, especially to the Warriors and Gods of Universe 2 as they see this a pure sight of love and beauty. No one watching this could believe how Goku is devoted to his family, but Chi-Chi gives a stern stares to her husband that makes Goku gives out a goofy laugh, making everyone see that he doesn't understand why his wife is angry at him. But she forgives him because she hopes seeing this will make him in a more responsible Family Man than a Knucklehead Saiyan he is, but she can only hope as Queen Vegeta and Gine are moved by seeing the possible life on how things would have been.

After Goku cut a large trunk of wood he tosses the large trunk into the air and smashes it into lumps. But the effort of gathering and making the firewood took its toll on him and got hungry, but Mauka tells him it's too early for dinner. So she asked him to get some fish for lunch instead as they had bear the other day and to grab either a big one or 2 of the usual fish they eat. Meanwhile not far from there, Bulma and Stockings arrives at the mountain in their car, looking for the Dragon Ball that is located in that area. Goku gives his prayer to the 4-Star Dragon Ball which he still thinks his Grandpa's Souls is in and as he leaves, he and Mauka notices that the ball starts to glow that catches both of them off guard as that never happened before. After brushing it off, Goku heads to the river but not before taking a detour to eat an apple to calm his rumbling tummy only to get a Sabertooth Tiger angry as he throws the apple core on its head. It starts giving the Saiyan Child chase only for Goku give him the slip and making it fall of a cliff. Goku, holding on to a branch enjoyed the chase, but it snapped and fell into the river underneath. Upon getting naked because of his wet clothes and taking a piss, Goku uses his tail to fish for lunch for him & Mauka as he managed to catch a large Blue Fish in their favorite and usual fishing spot.

As he journey back home, happy he made a good haul and hoping to make his sister happy, he suddenly hears a noise he never heard before as Stocking and Bulma's speeding car runs over Goku that sends him and his fish flying. Scared that might have killed the little boy, both the teenager and her guardian looks out to see if he's alive and fortunately he is: both shaken and furious as this marks the first meeting of the Princess of Capsule Corp and the Monkey King almost like Bulma and Goku remembers.
