Chapter 51

Varg had done everything in his power. Despite his weakness, he had tried his best. After losing his younger sister, the only hope for his family's survival, Varg was forced to take matters into his frail hands.

How dare Sanna, who knew nothing and witnessed nothing, mock him? She hadn't seen his tear-stained face, pleading with me to save Roxy.

She hadn't witnessed his trembling hands as he mustered the courage to confront Aidan, who was a hundred times stronger, just to retrieve his sister.

Filled with anger, I pounced on Sanna, delivering another punch. Straddling her, I screamed and unleashed another blow.

"How could you do that to him?!" I shouted.

Sanna blocked my subsequent punches with her arms. "What are you talking about? Are you mad?"

Tears welled up in my eyes as memories of Varg, Roxy, and his wife, trapped in that zombified state, flooded my mind. How could Sanna have the heart to abandon that family?
