Julius finds himself in a new strange world alongside others who have recently died. Gifted with unique powers and a system that guides their abilities, Julius and the others begin to explore and become stronger in this new world. A wholesome story, or so one would think.

 However, betrayal strikes when his system is forcibly taken from him, leaving him powerless and abandoned. His memory is taken, and when he awakens his mind is strung together by one thought.
"I need to get revenge on the people that did this to me."
Thus, the other system-users are his enemies now, and to their unbenownkst, his power is now aimed at them, the very people who feared him enough to backstab him when he trusted them most.

His quest is no longer to kill bandits, but to get payback on those who wronged him, who took everything from him.
And now he wants it all back with interest written on the side, in the form of their lives.

Only I Am Level 1

Warning: This chapter will mostly be information on the mage world. Or in other words, just some big fat blocks of dialogue. It just sets the stage for all future-mage fights. Yevian character backstory is also coming not here but in the next chapter. This chapter really just sets the stage.

P.S: This is essentially Yevian's Pov after himself and Julius split off. Julius will come back in a bit. Yevian's backstory is coming first.

Yevian silently swung the door for Magic Dueling open with a bit of a swagger.

His silky blonde hair looked strucid and drenched, an after-effect of mana-over-usage.

Professor Silver looked down upon Yevian and briefly looked at him, causing only 2 heads to turn.

Yevian looked around, Professor Silver was lecturing only two students, three now including himself.

It seemed that barely anyone had returned.
