CHAPTER 102 The Allegation

  Aria's POV

I was surprised when Layla told me that the King requested my presence urgently.

Khalid is not yet back, I dressed quickly and hurried down toward the king's room.

My heart was throbbing telling me that something doesn't feel right but I refused to dwell long on that.

Reaching almost to the king's chamber, I couldn't see his guards and mine didn't follow me either.

This is strange, something is definitely wrong somewhere.

I pondered on that for a long time and couldn't get my finger on what that could be.

I sighed and shove the restless feelings aside.

Holding his doorknob, I noticed that the door was not locked.

  Strange!

I pushed it open and walked in there, what I saw had my blood drained.

I quickly rushed toward the king who was finding breathing difficult when vomiting whitish liquid from his mouth.

I looked around and brought out water from his fridge.

Gosh! I hope that I have a wolf so that I could mind-link them.
