Damian's POV
I couldn't get the crease out of my forehead, but I did get inside the car. Sabrina doesn't appear to want to stay, although I do. I exhaled deeply because I didn't want her to be mad at me and because I didn't want to ruin our time together. I turned to face her, but she was preoccupied with her phone and her lips were slightly pouting. She looked at me when I moved a little, so I diverted my gaze.
"Is there an issue? she questioned.
I said, "Nothing," and frowned when I saw that she was still staring at me.
She uttered "Damian" in a serious tone, her face expressionless but her eyes questioning.
I sighed and faced her.
"Fine! Ideally, I would like to stay here rather than go home. I'll stay with you all day until we get home," I said.
"I hope you also understand that your life is not here. You have a job, some things you need to fix, and some—"
I replied, looking at Sabrina, "I have my assistant secretary to do all of it."
