The doctor squirts warm jelly all over my swollen belly and presses down gently with the ultrasound wand. I watch on the screen as the little dancer in my stomach wiggles and squirms. The doctor finds the heartbeat and the whoosh, whoosh, whoosh of my baby's heart fills the room. Christina gently squeezes my hand as we both watch the baby on the screen. 


Christina and I have become extremely close over the past six months. I think it is both because we love Daniel, for different reasons obviously. Daniel and I have found our groove back into our old friendship and he treats me like his little sister.
