Anxiety

"I need you" Was the first thing that left Cari's mouth when I answered her call.

"Where are you? What's wrong?!" I was the worrywart between the both of us so moments like these alway send my heart in a tizzy.

"I can't find my antianxiety pills and I'm starting to freak and no one wants to help me find them!" Her voice strained; something went smash in the background.

"I'll be there 10 minutes tops but first I need you to find a quiet place to sit while you wait for me. Can you do that?"

"Yeah, the door will be unlocked."

"Okay, here I come. Everything is going to be okay, love. Just sit tight."

Hearing the dial tone, I shut my laptop glad to away from it for a while. Quickly grabbing my phone and my purse, I made my way out the door. Locking it behind me, I hopped on my bike and pedaled my way down the block to wear I knew my best friend lived.
