SAMANTHA'S POV
"Good evening, and a warm welcome to everyone tonight as we celebrate Masquerade Ball. Tonight is a special evening, and I am delighted that so many special people have been able to join us. Tonight is all about having fun!" Energetic introduction by the female host after the long ceremony.
"As we celebrate this special occasion, let us capture some magical moments, make happy memories, and surround ourselves with laughter and friendship." Mr. Tan added with joyful in his tone.
"But wait, let's listen first to our guest singer from BA Mass Com Block 01! Let us give such of applause, Ms. Samantha Venganza." Energetic announcement of Mr. Tan.
I stood up to accept his call to the stage, I'm nervous but there was nothing I could do.
"Go, bestiieeeeee!!" Leslie cheering me out loud.
"Go, Samanthaaa!!" Our other classmates shouted.

I just gave them a shy smile and continued walking to the stage.

I was immediately supported going up when I got in front of the stage. My block mates are still shouting my name.
"Sshhh, a little silence please," Ms. Presley scolded, the girl host.
"It looks like your block mates are really supporting you," prefaced of Mr. Tan as soon as I got on the stage. While Ms. Presley gave me a microphone.
"What are you going to sing for us tonight?" Ms. Presly asked with a smile.
"Kiss in the Wind by Kz Tandingan," I replied with a smile.

"Wow, what a beautiful song. But before you start, may we remove our masks first so we can see the bueaty of each other." He announced and gestured to the front, signaling that all of us present would remove our masks.
Everyone slowly took off their masks and looked at the stage, I was overcome with nervousness.
"Warahell, if I'm embarrassed here, it's your fault Ms. Brielle." I said in my mind and looked up at the audience.
"Okay, you may start now. Again, let's give her a such of applause. Ms. Samantha Venganza!" Announcement of Mr. Tan and everyone followed him.
I gestured my hand, signaling to start the instrument.

I started singing gently, closing my eyes while feeling the song to avoid nervousness.

I decided to open my eyes and look at the audience but by chance, my gaze caught a very handsome man.
