Chapter 2: Dance
They came up to the door to register to get in.
"Alright, you are all registered so enjoy the party."
"Ok everyone let's get into positions I will tell him we are here." Melody said
"Wait, glad I made these."Kai said as he handed them earpieces. "Put these in your ears so we can talk to each other."
"This will come in handy." Lucifer said as he put his in
"Ok so let's get back to work." She said
They all put in their earpieces and went to their designated spots and Nice was stuck outside.
"Why am I stuck outside?!" He yelled in the earpiece
"Hey don't yell." Kai said back
"Want to know why the hell I'm outside!" Nice yelled
"Because you are destructive." Mars said
"And have a bad mouth." Melody said
"You are faster with your ability than we are." Kai said
"Ok fine."
"Just pay attention." Mars said
"Come on just get along."Melody said
A few hours into the party.
"Man still nothing." Nice said
"You'll be fine." Kai said
Then there was an explosion.
"It's on the side of the building we need to get everyone out of here and guard Conner." Melody said in the earpiece
"I'll go and see what is over there." Nice said as he started to use his ability and fly over there
"I'll go as well." Mars said
"Ok good luck. Kai come on and let's get everyone out of here." Melody said
"Ok."
Nice and Mars went to the explosion.
"Glad you could make it."
"Who are you?!" Nice yelled
"The name is Justin." He said as he shot at him but Nice's activated late and collapsed (he was shot in the stomach)
"Nice!" Mars yelled as he pulled a gun out and pointed it at Justin but he was gone. "Where did he go?"
"Mars, Nice!" Melody yelled as Kai and Lucifer followed behind her then she noticed Nice and she came running over to him. "What happened?"
"You know that man we are tracking down. Well, we found him, that is when he shot Nice."
"We can talk more later, let's get him to a doctor." Lucifer said as he healed what he could
"One is already on the way." Kai said
"No reason to worry he'll be ok."
