Salem was gazing at the broken moon from her castle, she couldn't remember how many times she had done this.

Closing her eyes, she could still remember the days before this happened, life was perfect, it was wonderful and filled with happiness, yet her ex-husband had to ruin it, they could have been gods, a start of a new era with their children.

Salem's expression soured greatly as she remembered her children, even to this day they were her most precious treasures, they were second to none, but because of that accident…

No, she didn't want to remember that, it was painful to even to this day, she was guilty of what happened that night.

If only she didn't lose control…if only….

Salem shook her head, there's no point thinking about what happened in the past because she could only think of the present in this world; there is no such thing as 'what if'.

Then suddenly, her subordinate entered the room.

"Mistress."

Arthur Watts bowed slightly at her presence.

"Speak, what's the result of the investigation?" Salem slowly walked closer to Watts.

"Ah, yes mistress about the result, as expected Ozpin and his subordinates went missing for almost a month, and no one had seen them since," Watts answered.

Salem's eyes narrowed at that news and thought. 'What game are you playing this time Ozma?'

Her ex-husband's action was irregular, he isn't like this, hiding like a coward leaving his 'castle' unprotected, by her of all people, this must've been a trap it has to be.

Or it could be that he finally gave up on stopping her?

Salem shook her head, denying that possibility, he is too stubborn to quit, she knew him better than anyone else, and that's why this has to be some sort of plan to stop her.

"So, did you find where Ozma and his subordinates are hiding…?" She said as she stopped walking and stared directly into Watts' eyes.

Watts became a bit tense, she noticed but didn't say anything about it, all she wanted was an answer, a satisfying if not, she'd be quite disappointed.

"My sources did find his subordinates on an island called Patch a few hours ago, however, there was no sighting of Ozpin." Watts slowly answered as look at her a bit nervously.

Salem frowned, and quickly afraid of displeasing her. Watts continued.

"B-but there's some additional people that we didn't recognize walking amongst Ozpin's subordinates." Watts then showed her a few pictures of those 'additional' people along with Ozma's subordinate.

Her eyes stared at the picture and couldn't help but frown as she recognized a familiar woman and thought. 'Isn't that silver eyes pet of Ozma? I thought she was dead, Tyrian reported that she was…but it seems that he was mistaken about that.'

Then her eyes shifted to another picture and there, she couldn't contain her shock, her wise and cold persona instantly broke as she saw the picture.

Her body started trembling in an unnatural way, even her tone sounded different, but she didn't care. "Watts…is this real?"

Watts looked a bit confused by that statement but regardless he answered her. "Yes, mistress, it's 100% real."

Finally, she couldn't contain it anyway longer and exclaimed. "Change of plans! Forget about Beacon! You must prioritize bringing these children here as soon as possible!"

Watts was deeply surprised by the sudden change of plan, however, she couldn't care less about his reaction, because inside her mind there's only one thing that she thought of. 'My daughters! They're alive! They're alive! How is this possible? Did the gods- no, it doesn't matter even if it's a scheme by the brothers I don't care.'

It didn't matter what sort of trick this is, but it doesn't matter, she would know eventually, for now, she has to see them, no matter what the cost.

Hope bloomed inside her, it's been a very long time since she felt a positive emotion, and in this world, there aren't a lot of things that could make her feel like a human, and one of them was her children.

Her own flesh and blood.

Looking at the picture of her daughters once more, she clenched it hard and said. "Soon, we'll be reunited and no one will be able to stop me."

Her eyes glowed crimson red, she promised that they would be.

However, she failed to see the other picture of her ex-husband, because she was too focused on the photo of her daughters, so she disregarded the other pictures.

Her reunion with Ozma would be different because this time, he had his original body, her first love, her husband, her knight.

He suddenly felt a chill behind his back, and he immediately thought of an answer. "It must've been Salem, there's no one who could give my body a reaction like that."

Ozma was convinced by this, and then he stared at his daughters who were eating different flavors of ice cream, he called them out. "Girls, I think we should get going. Staying here isn't a good idea."

He received an 'awwwwwwh' answer from his daughters. Ozma shook his head at their reply, as much as he wanted them to explore more of this island, his cautious personality won over him.

"No, we'll explore later but for now we'll go to a safe location, and after I deemed it safe you can go wherever you want."

Although there were a few protests, at the end of the day they followed their father's instructions, making Ozma smile in the process.

Ozma was right about this decision because if they stayed an hour longer, there's no doubt that his ex-wife's subordinate would be here to try to kidnap his daughters.

Not that they'll succeed though, since he's back at his peak state, and other than the brother gods and Salem herself, there's hardly anyone who could possibly beat him.

But it would still be annoying being stalked 24/7, after that he brought his children to his private bullhead and headed to Beacon.

Because it is the safest location in all Remnants.

"Wait.. isn't this?" I was surprised at this particular ability or power that was in the recommendation section of the catalog.

I know that the shop sells everything, but it was still surprising that the shop sold something as ridiculous as this.

[ Authority of Vainglory ], the name doesn't really ring a bell, but when I saw its description I immediately remembered about this power, it originated from Re:Zero, it's history wasn't too important but to those who don't know, this ability was owned by a sociopath murdering loli.

Anyway, its power is to rewrite the world to some extent, like if I saw someone get hit by a truck and die. I could simply rewrite that it never happened.

Although this ability also has a lot of consequences, not to the user though but to the world itself, for example, if you tried to rewrite a person's existence, it would certainly cause a domino effect, if this person didn't exist then their supposed to be parents broke up because they couldn't have a child.

Or that certain person's friend committed suicide because they didn't meet that said person.

A single change could cause a massive wave, which was very dangerous, especially to my world, there's no way Gaia and Alaya would be able to ignore it.

That's why, even though it's a powerful ability not to mention affordable with my credits, there's no way I'd buy this.

Because doing that would paint big bright letters behind my back, I'd surely be given the V.I.P. treatment by the representative of humanity a.k.a Alaya, and mother Earth a.k.a Gaia.

If I wanted a powerful ability, I would like something that isn't too obvious.

I wasn't too worried though since there's plenty of things to choose from.

This is going to take a while…

It did take me a while to pick a suitable power-up, after all, there's so plenty to choose from, there are a few times that I was tempted to buy them, but only with strong logical thinking I managed not to.

Like buying a haki, devil fruits, lost Magics from fairy tail, noble phantasm with conceptual abilities, and many more.

But in the end, it was absolutely nothing from what I bought, only because of the massive discount from the shop I managed to buy this absolutely cheat-like power, while it isn't flashy as those typical shonen abilities.

This would no doubt guarantee his survival from any threat that was coming at my door, well most of them anyway.

The perfect ability for me, and it's called [ Path To Victory ] an ability that could guarantee my win in every probable situation.

I can't wait to try this particular ability, especially trying it on a goddess like D, however, I'll be expecting to fail because there is such a thing as impossible victory.

As I was about to leave the shop, suddenly someone opened the door and realized that it was a new customer.

Instead of being annoyed, I smiled and thought. 'This must be my lucky day! Another person to profit from!'

With that in my mind, I welcomed the newest customer. "Welcome to the shop, we have everything here, feel free to check the catalog."

The user is capable of choosing from a certain pathway of choices, a number which will ensure the highest likelihood of making them victorious in any kind of outcome.

The user's power supplies them with whatever steps they need to take at the task they visualize; whether leading, governing, planning, combat, communicating, psychological manipulation, inventing, etc, or even flat-out environment control through the use of super-powered pawns.

The user merely has to pick their conceptual desire and will find the series of steps required to attain their path to victory. ]

[ Limitations:

- Individuals capable of directly resisting the path to victory or by proxy cannot be affected directly in the sequence of steps. The user can, however, make a hypothetical model based on the resistance, and use that model in a hypothetical scenario to solve the problem.

- Certain individuals have different weaknesses to cosmic and divine beings.

- If a task is absolutely impossible, no matter what plan or path one could use, it is still impossible. For example, a user of this power cannot simply make objects appear out of thin air or warp reality. Another example, a user can never defeat a truly omnipotent being no matter what path they choose.
