Gil Is Back With Some News

I wasn't sure what happened after D had a private talk with Mitsuha, her face was exceptionally red, now it suddenly got me curious about what they talked about.

Especially when Mitsuha was avoiding my gaze for some reason, either way I'm hoping that it isn't anything harmful.

"Did she do something to you?" I said while giving D a suspicious look.

"What? I did nothing! Right? Mitsuha?" D winked at the legal loli.

Making her once more turn beet red, honestly with her strange reaction there's no way D did nothing. 

While I may not know the context, it's clear enough that she said something significant to Mitsuha for her to make such expression.

From what I can see she's embarassed of something, it could be anything that's why I used [ Path To Victory ] to understand what happening however after I did something interfered.

( Oh, that's cheating! If you want to find out about it, do it without any powers! )

Knowing that D casually making my ability null and useless, making me glare at her for doing so, which she give me a smirk.

Letting out a sigh and thought. 'I suppose, I'll do this the traditional way then.'

"Anyway, now that there's 5 'willing' members it's time for us to make an application and create our club!" D cheered.

Then after that she left to get an application for making a club.

As soon as she left, my attention shifted back to Mitsuha and bluntly asked. "Mitsuha, what exactly did she tell you?"

This is what traditional means, if I can't get answers with my ability, then ask someone who knows.

Upon hearing my question, suddenly she avoided looking at my face for some reason and replied stuttering. 

"I-i can't tell you that..!"

Hearing that unexpected answer, I frowned. "Why not?"

"Because…!" Mitsuha had a very flustered look on her face as she replied.

It was clear that she won't say anything about it, while I could certainly force an answer. I have a feeling that it would sour our relationship.

So I decided not to force the issue. "Seeing that you won't answer it, I'll drop it for now, but please do tell me if you're more willing. I only asked because I'm worried about you."

Mitsuha became really guilty about it and clarified. "Wakaba-san didn't do anything harmful to me, so please be at ease."

Knowing that it's the truth made me relaxed and thinking how I overreacted, but knowing that it's D. 

One can never be too careful, either way it's a relief that it's not anything harmful.

It's been a day since D created the gaming club and she quickly got a room and an adviser for it, making it a real club.

Normally it's not that easy to make a club, especially when there's a certain criteria that needed to be reached upon approval.

I have no doubt that D manipulated few people from the school to create this club as soon as she thought of it.

Either way, since no one was harmed in the process then it shouldn't matter much, it would be hypocritical for me to scold D for manipulating people.

Especially when my very own family and blood, does this kind of thing frequently.

As I arrive at the room where the new club is located I was greeted by an excited gamer, which is Sora.

"Alex! You're finally here! Look, look! The specs of this PC is unreal! It even got the latest GPU in the market!" It was easy to see his astonishment, however for me who have a superior PC as my computer components are something that couldn't be bought in public and was strictly for military use only.

Normally this would get anyone who knows that isn't part military arrested, but it doesn't apply to me as non-moonlit laws are frankly nothing to my background.

We are basically above the law, at least in the muggle world.

Either way, I still smile for the sake of my friend and part amused at his happiness not knowing that what he has is basically 2nd-rate compared to what I own.

"That's amazing." Despite my previous thoughts, my words are sincere and it wasn't sarcastic at all.

"Man, I couldn't afford something like this I'm so envious! I wish I could bring it home with me and replace our PC with it." Sora couldn't help but imagine.

I suddenly got an idea upon hearing him and replied. "Say, if you beat me in a game I'll buy you a similar set, you can even include your sister."

Sora eyes widened hearing that from and quickly answered. "Wait, are you for real?"

"Of course, do I look like the type to joke about simple things like this?"

"Simple things…?" Sora couldn't help but mutter himself, then shaking his head and continued. "Whatever! Since you asked for it, feel free to pick any game and we'll certainly beat you without a doubt!"

It was the look of pure confidence, and given his background along with his sister, that confidence is given as they never really lost as [ ] however I won't make it easy for them as I'm going to use [ Path Of Victory ] to beat them.

If they can beat the God Of Games himself, surely it wouldn't be impossible for them to outsmart this skill of mine.

"Then, I'll pick the game chess."

Sora looked surprised at my choice of game, as he certainly didn't expect it. "Chess? I thought you'd choose something more RPG considering your choice of games."

"This is to make it simpler, either way we can start whenever you are ready. A fair warning from me, it won't be in easy to beat me." With a smirk on my face, Sora eyes glinted in excitement instead of being intimidated. 

"Bring it on! We [ ] never lose to anyone! Isn't that right Shiro?!" Sora asked his sister who nodded while staring at the screen next to him.

Then suddenly D appeared out of nowhere and declared. "Then I shall be the host!"

"Wait, where the hell did you came from?"

"Silly, I was always here. You just didn't see me because I kept quiet." D said as she clings to my right arm.

I look at her in astonishment and said. "You can actually keep your mouth shut? If so please do me a favor and don't talk from now on, I'd be eternally grateful for it."

"Haha, no." 

"What a shame…" Indeed, what a pity.

Sora who couldn't understand our relationship, he couldn't help but say. "You two are a couple right?"

"No." I disagreed immediately.

"That's right!" D agreed immediately.

"What exactly is which..?" 

"Don't bother, my relationship with her is complicated." I decided to spare him from confusion and decided to give a summary to our really complicated relationship.

"Right…" Sora scratched the back of his head, not knowing what to make of it, but from what he can see their relationship isn't exactly normal that's why he would stop thinking about this matter as it doesn't really have to do with him anyway.

It wasn't his nature to pry about other people relationship anyway.

We started our match using the newly acquired PC, and now the match between [ ] and I starts.

And I immediately used my skill [ Path To Victory ] which should guaranteed to make me win.

Or at least that was supposed to happen.

It took 5 hours, for skill to completely give up winning as it doesn't show me the path to victory anymore probably knowing that it couldn't win.

"Well…that was exhausting." It wasn't really the case me, however the two didn't know that.

Looking at them, they look so exhausted at least mentally, as even Shiro was closing her eyes due to mental fatigue.

"Alex, are you sure you're a fucking human?" Sora complains while message his head due to mental exhaustion.

"Yes, I'm completely human by at least 99.98%." Recall a certain pod words.

"Huh? What about the rest 0.2%?"

"I have no idea, maybe my ancestors got freaky with some furry or something."

Sora rolled his eyes and let out a laugh, before wincing in pain. "Yeah, I don't think I have enough brain power to play anything today my head hurts, either way since we won you'll keep your promise right?"

"Yeah, I'll send someone to deliver it to your apartment later." 

"Yaaay.." Sora looks happy but to exhausted to show it physically.

At the shop, Emiya along with his assistant Ymir was finally back after his vacation to his own world. 

"I'm glad that you two are back, so did you enjoy your vacation?" 

Unexpectedly Emiya showed a genuine smile at me and replied. "Yeah, I did."

I was a bit surprised by his willingness to show a smile, but regardless I'm happy for him as he finally got the closure that he deserves.

Then when I was about to ask him the details of his vacation suddenly, someone familiar appeared at the door.

I looked at her in surprise and blurted. "Gilgamesh?"

Then she looks at me with a rather frosty eyes and bluntly said. "I'm pregnant with your child, take responsibility for it."

Just like that my greatest fear came true.

"Damn."
