Like Oil And Water

"Eh…?" Upon hearing that shocking news, even D herself was stunned as this was also something unexpected even for someone like her.

I was genuinely enjoying her reaction as this was the first time I'd seen her react without that fakeness.

But, what I'm worried about wasn't her; personally, I don't care what she would think about this particular subject as my relationship with her isn't exactly genuine, more like she forced herself in. However, it's different from Hitori.

She's someone with whom I have a genuine bond, and I acknowledge that we're in a relationship.

And when I saw her, to be honest, I was worried as she passed out from sheer shock; there's even a miniature ghost that was coming out of her mouth.

"Bocchi?!" 

It took some time to wake her up, and as soon as she did, she looked confused, but then, after a quick realization of what transpired, her eyes became teary, and her face was the epitome of depression. "A-are you g-going to leave me?"

The fact that was her first response, rather than being angry by the fact that I cheated was honestly heartbreaking.

I feel really guilty for doing something like this, I'm such a bastard and then I softly whispered to her as I got closer. "No, no, I won't leave you at all; I'm sorry for making you cry."

Hearing my response, she immediately felt relieved that she wasn't going to be left out which once again made my conscience hurt.

This woman is way too good for someone like me indeed.

"R-really? T-thank goodness…" 

If she saw my face right now, she would no doubt see the guilt plastered on my face. 

"Hey, what about me? I feel hurt too, you know?"

I don't need to see who said that; if I could, I wanted to, I would definitely give her a middle finger; as far as I could tell, she's enjoying this little drama.

But right now, my attention was focused on my social anxiety-personified girlfriend.

It took some time, but she finally calmed down, which was something admirable as she just heard that her boyfriend literally impregnated another woman, which also wasn't the first time that happened.

She must be some sort of saint in her past life to be like this because, damn, if the same thing were to happen to me, I definitely wouldn't be as calm.

"So, this is one of the lovers you speak of?" It was Gilgamesh who finally spoke after glaring at D for some time now.

"Yes, she's one of them."

"Hm, aside from her terrible attire, her face isn't too bad. However, it definitely could get some work; anyway, where's your other lover?" Gilgamesh definitely didn't see anyone aside from Hitori and the thing in this place.

Unfortunately for her, she definitely would be disappointed to hear what I'm about to say. "She's right in front of you."

Gilgamesh looked at me with confusion before processing what I told her, which made her look disgusted. "Are you telling me…that this evil thing is one of them?"

D looked at her with a smug look. "Naturally."

Gilgamesh stared at me like she couldn't believe my choice, and I couldn't blame her for looking at me like I was some sort of crazy person.

I may not know what she saw, but D is definitely annoying enough for me to handle. "Don't look at me like, it's not like it's my choice."

"Oh? I see here I thought that you were insane to actually want this disgusting thing as your lover turns out that you're forced." Gilgamesh concluded as if she understood my plight, which honestly isn't too far off, as it is technically a forced relationship, but it's something I accepted despite my reluctance.

But it's better to leave it to her imagination and let it run wild.

"If you want to, I can get rid of her for you. However, it wouldn't be an easy fight." She said the last part reluctantly as if it pained to admit, as D is someone formidable and isn't someone that could be easily killed.

I could only imagine the damage that it would cause; honestly, the world being destroyed is the least damage that could occur, and the worst, the entire universe would be utterly wrecked in the aftermath.

"Oh? Is that perhaps a threat?" D smiled at her, which definitely isn't one with good intent but one that is filled with malice.

The air around us became increasingly suffocating, and when I realized that, I quickly shielded Hitori from it as she was the only one who couldn't handle this kind of phenomenon; in her perspective, there was nothing wrong except for a slight chill in her body.

"Yes, and I would gladly get rid of you from existence because of how unpleasant you are." Gilgamesh didn't even try to hide her dislike for her; despite just meeting her, she knew that if D were to continue to exist, her very being would continue to cause harm to humans.

However, for the same reason why she didn't immediately strike her down right as she knew the consequences of her actions would lead to.

"Tsk, from all women across the world why this one?" D started to dislike the golden woman in front of her, as they were like water and oil.

As long as the other one breathes, they will never get along.

I decided to finally step in; despite being completely outclassed by both of them, I'm still the one in charge here.

"Alright, stop both of you. While I understand how unpleasant D may be (Hey!), she actually hasn't caused that much trouble while living in this world." As far as I'm concerned, as long as she doesn't start a human extinction disaster in this world I couldn't care less of what she's going to do.

Gilgamesh was having a one-on-one glaring contest with the extraterrestrial being from outer space. 

And only after a few minutes, she decided. "Fine, I won't get rid of this thing as the outcome isn't just worth the trouble. However, if this evil thing steps out of line, I wouldn't hesitate to get rid of it from existence."

"Hmph, good riddance. I would say the same for you," D replied in kind, as she definitely doesn't like Gilgamesh.

This is the first time I've seen her disliking someone; in fact, today, I've seen a lot of firsts from her.

After that meeting, it was easy to tell that the two of them wouldn't get along no matter what, so they started ignoring one another as if the other didn't exist.

Which was completely fine with me as long everyone was happy and wasn't causing destruction.

To be fair, I'm surprised that they only did this and not more. Maybe my presence has more effect on them than I originally thought.

Either way, aside from D being ignored by the golden empress, she surprisingly gets along with Hitori.

Looking at them, it's like seeing a super popular older sister trying to teach her younger siblings the ways to be better 

They give that kind of vibe. To be honest, I thought Gilgamesh would look down on Hitori for being timid, but surprisingly, it isn't the case. Instead, she finds her personality amusing.

Heck, she even gave her plenty of luxurious accessories and dresses that perfectly fit her person.

And that's how I got an official harem, it's not a pseudo anymore as it's a complete one.

Despite being the one who was recently added to the group, she declared herself as the alpha and the main wife of the group, which D rejected as that position belonged to her.

The two started having a verbal fight, which I'm glad for as it beats them fighting to death and potentially ending mankind.

Gilgamesh, after getting permission from my lover to get married, at least one of them doesn't mind; however, D, on the other hand, wasn't exactly happy with that, but there's little she could do as the other party is at the same playing field as her.

They're both equally powerful that the result of their flight would be unclear, also the fact that she could really force me to give up on her as it would mean breaking her own 'rule' in the first place she came here to have fun.

She didn't want to ruin it just to spite the other gal, that's why she kept her dirty hands on the matter.

Overall, it definitely soured a bit of her amusement, but at the very least, she admits that it's fun.

Then, after that, she left, leaving only Hitori and me alone.

We didn't talk on our way back home, but the atmosphere wasn't unpleasant at all; as we arrived at her parent's house, suddenly she spoke. "A-alex…"

I turned around at her and replied. "Yes?"

With a face almost resembling a tomato, she whispered. "M-my…family isn't home..umm..soooo c-can we y'know…"

It wasn't hard to figure out what she wanted. "Hitori…are you sure you want to do it..?"

"Y-yes…" Hitori looks oddly determined.

Well, who am I to decline?

With that, we went inside her house ready to do the deed.
