Chapter 12

Loyd shook his head and thought 'no no no! You can't think about the past!' He got up from his daze and got ready for bed and finally was asleep. This was his escape and his only relief.

(Time skip- morning time)

It was now 6:30 AM and Lloyds alarm clock went off. He got up with some drowsiness and got ready for school. 'Todays another day for tourture' he thought, dreading going to school. He left the house and arrived at school. He quickly got to class not giving the teacher the opportunity to scold him, but he was pretty sure they'd find some way to do so. Luckily for him in 1st and 2nd period nothing happened, the teachers just glared at him, but come 3rd period…

"He did it!" Carson yelled. "Loyd, haven't you learned your lesson!?" The teacher screamed so loud that he thought his ears were going to burst. "B-but teacher I didn't-" "enough you going to detention!" The teacher roared. Now what was he framed for? Defacing school property, which was actually done by Carson, but he was seen and he blamed it on Loyd.

(Time skip-in detention)

Now here was Loyd in a class with a bunch of trouble makers- a group he did not at all belong in. So time passed in 4th period (which by the way, his 4th period teacher gladly said he could be in detention for her period) and it was finally 5th period. The day went on and finally to Lloyds relief it was time to go home; the school day had finally ended. Loyd was now walking home when he came by, you guessed it. Carson! But strangely he didn't do anything to Loyd. He just smirked and continued walking. Now that was strange.

He never missed an opportunity to beat him up. 'He's probably planning something' Loyd thought. He went home and…

"M-mom!?" Loyd said in surprise. He was stunned, she was never at home at all. He could tell though, something had happened, because she had a nasty look on her face. 'SHUT UP! I DON'T HAVE A SON LIKE YOU" she screeched, Loyd trembled in fear. When she yelled like that it meant she was angry, like furious. "I'm having you change schools, and by the way no, you don't have a choice." Layla said in a tone colder than ice. Loyd lowered his head and meekly said, "…ok."

With that Layla left the house, completely ignoring Lloyds presence. She hated him and he hated her. This was their relationship.

Loyd arrived at his new school and it went pretty well, nothing happened. Once he got home he went to his room to practice his singing. He loved singing because it was like his escape from life. He could vent without being judged.

They can hate me, abuse me, hit me, slap me, but I don't care. Come a few years and they will be nothing. I will be something…
