The object

Here! take this, said Blothir to Aramir handing him a gun. Find the trigger and keep your hands on it, he said to him. Where did you find this? asked Armair. Along the way, replied the dwarf. Now., follow me and Brother! do not shoot me, he warned him. Aramir tried to look at the object he was holding, but he could not see anything. Aramir then proceeded to take out a wand. It was the light of Elithir. Where did you get it from? asked Blothir. From a goblin I had taken it from, he said. In the sea valley towards Elithir, he said. The two men walked towards the shining object which was slowly starting to resemble a casket that contains gold. It was as though Blothir had already charted the path towards the casket, and his extra sight was helping him! Aramir trailed Blothir cautiously as they walked towards the casket. Blothir looked back at Aramir to see, if he was behind. He was, but his eyes were firmly locked at the direction of the casket. Blothir waved his hands to see , if Aramir could in fact see things. He could not, he did not know the hands were being waved. So, the dwarf in the front almost reached the casket. He was about to open it.
Wait! said Aramir. What if something bad is inside it. Blothir again looked at the dwarf, his eyes spoke of greed and hunger, just like the other dwarves who had attacked him. Perhaps so, said Blothir as he kept his fingers on the trigger. What do we do now? brother asked Aramir as his voice began to sound confident and powerful. He turned and searched for the eyes of his friend, but Blothir had gone missing again. Where are you Blothir? he asked this time with his hands firmly on the casket. The dwarf has hidden himself, he wondered. I will catch the gold in my hands and wait here, thought Aramir. And when he comes back, I will shoot him. Yes, he said to himself and opened the casket. And just like he had thought, there was gold and other metals inside. " I'm rich" he exclaimed. Blothir watched hidden behind the tree, saw him take the gold and stuff it in his pockets. The rest he carried with him, in his hands. Blothir's vision was also weakening. He was not able to see, as before. His vision only briefly returned when he had accidently ate a leaf potion, from the tree. It was shining and he ate it, only out of curiosity and it gave him sight. There must be more around, he wondered and went searching for it. Aramir, did not know what to do. He surely could not move. But he wanted to kill Blothir first and think of anything else. So, he waited by the casket.
He put some of the metals on the ground, and they were shining. I can use these metals as beacons, he wondered. So, he went and placed these metals carefully on the sides of all the corners around him. Just in case, he wondered. If he decides to shoot me back, I can use these beacons to find where he is. He took 8 metals with him and placed them on all corners, about 20 feet apart from each other and 30 feet away from where he stood, centrally, next to the casket.
