Pain

The Hylin put an arrow through the chest of the wailing dwarf and put him to sleep forever. "The forest will eat him up" said one Hylin to the other. The leader took aim at the Hylin and waited patiently. One to her heart, and the other to her head" he repeated sinisterly. They Hylin did not turn to his side and it was driving the leader mad. "One to the heart, and the other in her head" he said now as his voice was getting louder. The other ravager's hid in silence and fear wondering if their boss had turned mad. Close by, Aramir and Blothir hid themselves and were getting troubled by the singing of the ravager leader. Surely, the Hylin must have heard them by now, said Aramir to Blothir. The leader was losing patience and aimed for the back of the Hylin. " This should do" he said and shot at the back of the Hylin. The silver bullets pierced the back of the Hylin and she fell on the ground, anguishing in pain. The other Hylin wary of the danger that surrounded her, jumped on to the tree, dropping the light bulb on the ground. And she shut her eyes. Aramir was looking at the light bulb and a desire to hold it, was firmly ignited in him. The leader cursed himself and closed his eyes. "Close your eyes, said Blothir to Armair" now the Hylin can see us and we cannot see her, he said. Everyone's eyes were shut!

There was complete silence in the forest as the Hylin climbed up the trees and searched for the dwarves, ravagers or otherwise. The leader ravager had the gun in his hand and held it tightly. He had one shot to kill the other Hylin on the ground, but how could he kill her? he wondered. The Hylin on the ground whimpered to the light bulb and she too crossed it, not taking it in her hands. She crouched past into the dense forests and was not seen at all. It could be hours till anything happens, wondered Blothir.
