Thirteenth Meal - Kid’s Lunch (5)

Croquette saw this look on the boy's face and asked in a teasing voice, "What's wrong? Are you feeling the bittersweetness of the pudding? Or is it that you're feeling the bittersweetness of unrequited love?"

The boy was surprised by Croquette's words and couldn't help revealing a bitter smile.

After all, he had indeed never felt this way before.

He actually wanted seconds.

Normally, he would be able to control himself to act with the utmost manners, so he wouldn't do something as embarrassing as asking for seconds.

But he really couldn't help himself in the face of this delicious food.

Not only seconds, he even wanted thirds!

So he was put in a hard position since he couldn't say what he wanted to say.

Croquette could guess what he was thinking since he was familiar with this boy and the rules of the royal family. But he couldn't just say it directly or else he felt that the boy wouldn't learn.
