Chapter 255 (The Family’s Old Residence)

Jacob's brows furrowed, and his expression darkened at Bradford's words.

Larry noticed the grim look on his son's face and quickly interjected, "Bradford, we're here to have a meal as a family. Why are you bringing up Jacob's friend? She won't be interested in Julian at all!"

Although Bradford looked down on Larry and his family, the latter was still his older brother. Hence, he dared not retort.

"What do you mean, Larry? What's wrong with Julian? The way I see it, he's better than Jacob. At least Julian hasn't been in prison and isn't an ex-convict," Shirley piped up, displeased at Larry's jibe about Julian.

Bradford may not have the guts to say it, but I fear nothing!

"You…"

Larry flushed angrily. However, he could only remain silent since there was no denying that Jacob had been in prison.
