However, Jacob's spiritual sense had just spread out when it rebounded as if it had bumped into an invisible wall. It was impossible for his spiritual sense to expand any further. 

Jacob opened his eyes. Staring at the spot a few meters in front of him, he stretched out his hands and moved them around. 

"What are you doing, Mr. Sullen?" asked Declan, puzzled at what Jacob was doing. 

"This is an illusion. We've run for so long, but in reality, we have not left this place yet. That's why the two mountains at the side of the roads look identical…" 

A red glow emanated from Jacob's hands. Under the light of the red glow, an almost invisible wall, which resembled the ripples of water, appeared in front of them.
