Isakatsu wanted to use his backup to stall Axel so that he would have the opportunity to kill Jacob.

Upon receiving Isakatsu's command, the samurai whipped out their swords and ran toward the members of the Department of Justice as well as the men Axel brought along.

"Axel, deal with those samurais. I'll handle Isakatsu," Jacob said frantically to Axel.

Since Axel's subordinates had just been cured and had yet to regain their powers, the only way out was for Seth to lead the members of the Department of Justice to go up against those samurai. Being mindful of that, Jacob was worried Seth would be in danger and, hence, decided to send Axel to help them out.

Axel gave Jacob a look, yelled a furious bellow, and then lunged himself toward those samurai.

Meanwhile, Jacob threw his frosty gaze toward Isakatsu and uttered, "I shall let you have a taste of my Nine Shadows now…"
