Hearing that they came here at someone's request, Jacob fell into deep thought. Who told them to come?

"General Johnston, who are they?" he asked Timothy.

"Mr. Sullen, they are The Villainous Four from the Village of Villains. The one who talked to you is Otto Hickson and the long-haired man beside him is Tanner Hickson. The plump man is Bryson Hickson, and the skinniest among them is Quinn Hickson," Timothy introduced them to Jacob in a soft voice.

"The Villainous Four… The Villainous Four?"

Jacob's brows snapped together, as he had heard of them somewhere. Suddenly, he realized it was Randall who had mentioned their names previously.

The Villainous Four were the ones who had found Margaret and later given her to Randall so he could continue to take care of her.

Looks like Randall was most probably the one who sent The Villainous Four here. I don't understand how he got to know them, though.
