"Hmph!" Matthias sneered before activating his internal martial energy. A brilliant light suddenly erupted at the spot where their sword energy clashed. Boom!

The explosion coming from the sword energy was deafening. Even the ground shook violently. An endless amount of dust and smoke rose to the sky. Terrifying shockwaves continued to spread out in all directions.

With the sands covering the sky, it looked as though Armageddon had descended upon the world. Even a magnitude ten earthquake wasn't that scary. One meter of the mountaintop was sliced off because of that clash.

Staring at the frightening scene ahead, Maddie asked anxiously, "Do you think Jacob will be fine, Natalia?" Natalia was gritting her teeth and tightening her fists, so much so that her fingernails were digging into her flesh.
