"Shut up Magnus." Jonah reprimanded Magnus. He knew that it was not the appropriate time for Magnus to let his anger get the better of him. If they got into a fight right then, it would only benefit the other sects and prestigious families.

 

Not a single conflict arose even though many sects and prestigious families had gathered on Equatoria Isle because they were all preserving their strengths and refraining from fighting over trivial matters.

 

Magnus's words infuriated Virgil, and the latter uttered with a vicious glare, "Magnus Gonzalvo, I swear that if you dare say another word…"

 

He was about to throw a punch at Magnus but was stopped by Jonah. "Calm down, Virgil. Just ignore Magnus. That's just the way he speaks." Magnus suppressed his anger after hearing Jonah's words.

 

"Forget it, Virgil." Clenching his jaw, Virgil reluctantly took two steps back after Jacob piped up.
