Chapter 1234 ()

After the group got a night's rest in the forest, Geoffrey managed to recover most of his strength. Hence, Jacob planned to continue his escape with Frazier and Geoffrey at the first break of dawn.

Just as they were about to leave, the arcane arrays set up by Frazier were suddenly triggered. The continuous firing of infernos was quickly followed by screams of men.

"Jacob, someone's here. We have to move," Frazier suggested frantically, to which Jacob nodded in acknowledgment. Just as they were about to leave with Geoffrey, they heard someone swearing.

"Who the f*ck has set up arcane arrays in the middle of the forest?"

The voice caused Jacob to stop in his tracks and sped toward the direction of the arcane array. Frazier and Geoffrey, too, followed behind him.

By the time Jacob arrived, he saw Azriel and Sierra burnt by Frazier's arcane array.
