Jacob walked purposefully toward the camp, his mind swirling with thoughts. He had just exchanged words with Brendan, who was now chiding him. "Listen to me, this is the Demon Wolf pack's territory. Don't even think about escaping. Once you're out of the camp, the Demon Wolves will surely come after you and eat you alive. You were lucky not to have encountered them this time."
Jacob, however, chose to ignore Brendan's warnings. As he returned to the camp, his thoughts were consumed by Levi. Why was Levi looking for him? Was it because of his celestial beast aura? The question gnawed at him, but he couldn't shake off the feeling that there was more to it.
Brendan, noticing Jacob's indifference, felt a surge of anger. A murderous glint flickered in his eyes. Villagers like Jacob were never supposed to be so dismissive, especially not toward someone of Brendan's stature.
