Just as Jacob and Rohan were about to leave, Paige came out with the coffee pot. "Mr. Sullen, please have some coffee before you leave. I'm sorry about what happened today. I shouldn't have treated you in that manner," Paige apologized with an ashamed expression.

Her apology confused Jacob. Even so, he smiled casually and reassured her, "It's okay. I didn't take the matter to heart." "Mr. Sullen, what happened? Did Paige offend you?" Gilianno quickly asked.

"Oh, no! Everything's fine." Jacob immediately shook his head. Gilianno was well aware of Paige's temper and was certain she must have given Jacob hell. Therefore, he ordered, "Paige, pour Mr. Sullen a cup of coffee!"

Paige nodded and did as she was told. Moving closer to Jacob, she offered him the cup. "Mr. Sullen, I shouldn't have looked down on you. I'm sorry for my bad attitude earlier…"
