A Hellish Motorcycle Chase

Back with Rodeo and Michelle, the two were checking the rooms of the floor of a large hotel building they were on but would mostly find them empty, blood staining on the walls or dead bodies of people. But surprisingly they found no enemies yet. 

As he saw a few bodies of people in the room, Rodeo saw the flashes again and blood on his hands before they were gone in an instant. He shook his head and continued forward with Michelle following close behind. 

"...I wish we could have been here a bit sooner to save these people." Michelle said looking down in regret and sadness.

"...Well Finn did say they were able to evacuate most of the people they could out of the city when hell's forces first started the attack, the rest, they couldn't." Rodeo said, looking down as he clenched his fist. "Michelle, we have to accept this reality that not everyone comes back safe and sound."

"I know, but it doesn't make it any better that they are now dead and can't come back. Ever."

Deciding to forget about the topic, the two spotted an elevator at the end of the corridor, so they approached it. Once they entered it, they pressed the ground floor and the doors of the elevator closed before it began heading down. 

Looking at the button panel, Rodeo saw 64 buttons. Which means this hotel building has 64 floors. Rodeo and Michelle decided to take off their helmets and sit on the floor as the elevator continued heading down. 

Checking the 3D map on his holo screen that was being projected by his high tech armored glove, it showed the buildings structure and layout but it showed that no one was in this building for now at least.

From the corner of his eyes, Rodeo noticed Michelle had a sad look on her face. Turning to her direction, Rodeo politely asks her, "Is something bothering you?"

"...Rodeo, don't you want things to last? Like family and friends?"

"Well of course, but again when they might part ways from your lives can be a scary thing to think about. But as long as they are there with you, make some good memories with them before parting ways with them. "

"And what if they part ways from your lives a bit too early before you could make any of those good memories?"

"...Does this have to do with the ones you lost in the real world?"

"...Y-Yeah."

"Michelle, take your time in opening up to that matter. Don't push yourself in telling it. Ok?" 

Michelle slowly nods and then she decides to change the topic.

"Rodeo, do you think the Stand faction that Jeff dealt with in France might know about this incident happening in Vegas?"

"Perhaps, and I think the Chaos Insurgency, Global Occult Coalition and the Serpent's Hands know as well, but I'm surprised none of them haven't pulled a stunt yet or try to send a team to capture or eliminate the threat."

"Yeah. I expected a Stand fight to happen in Vegas but instead we get a battlefield and an invasion from a world where heavy metal music and big freaking guns are a thing. I'm surprised we can actually kill hell forces, but I think we can since Doomslayer was Doom guy and once was a human and used some normal earth weaponry and fought against the forces of the hell dimension. So it logically makes sense that average humans and human weaponry can fight and harm the forces of the hell dimension except we can't harm the hell barge."

"And with a buttload of rage, anger and heavy metal music as well." He added.

Michelle chuckled, "Yeah, and that's why Doom is such an awesome game."

"Yeah. And now we are dealing with those same enemies that are walking in the SCP world right now."

"Yeah."

As the conversation continues, both notice they are near to the ground floor, so they get up from the floor, wear their helmets and readied their weapons. 

"Do you think we'll expect any resistance?" Michelle asked.

"Well the map didn't show anybody inside the building but still we need to be careful just in case."

"Got it."

Once the elevator reached the ground floor making a ding sound, doors opened and....

...They saw Immoran Troopers, numbering thirty-five, were readying their weapons but didn't notice their presence for a moment before they spotted them, they had halted what they were doing and just stared at them. 

Troopers: "..."

Rodeo & Michelle: "..."

In utter silence, Michelle slowly pressed the button which leads to the underground parking lot.

As the elevator was about to close, all troopers started charging towards them. But they were a second too late as the elevator door closed and Michelle immediately turned the elevator doors into rubber in case they tried to punch their way in before the elevator started to head for the parking lot. 

"Too many troopers." Michelle mumbled.

"Yeah, too many and they've already started deploying them on the ground as well."

As the elevator reached the underground parking lot, the doors opened and when the two got out, they saw the parking lot was a mess. Broken cars, dead bodies of people and both Soldiers from the US Army and from the "Hammer Down" MTF unit and most of the concrete walls and ceilings were damaged badly. 

"We need to find a vehicle and get out of here."

*Heavy Metal Music Starts Again*

Suddenly, the entire parking lot started to shake violently, and the next second, the ceiling above them broke open and a massive hand came through it. 

It was the Hell Barge and it's aftering them. 

The two look around for any vehicle until they spot a Motus V4 Motorcycle lying on the ground next to a corpse with a key still on it. 

"YES!"

They immediately head for the motorcycle, Rodeo decides to ride the motorcycle while Michelle sits behind him. 

As they were about to move, Michelle looked behind her and saw the Hell Barge's hand was still trying to reach them. 

"Do you know how to drive a motorcycle?" She asked.

"Uhhhh more or less."

"Which one is it?! More or less?!?

"Don't worry. I got this."

Starting the engine, Rodeo revved it up but before they could leave, the two noticed Immoran troopers coming out from the elevator, carrying the Doom 2016 Multiplayer weapon 'the Reaper' as their weapon. 

"Take those bizarre individuals down!" One of the troopers yelled out before they started blasting them using the Reapers.

"Hold on!"

Immediately, Michelle wraps her arms around Rodeo's waist as he instantly rides out of the parking lot through the tunnel using the motorcycle at full speed. Rodeo kept heading down the tunnel until they both reached outside of the tunnel and were now in the streets. 

Once they reached a hundred meters from the hotel in the next few seconds, Michelle turned around to see the Hell Barge suddenly torn the entire hotel building from the ground, holding it in a spear throw, it threw the building towards them effortlessly, but the speed the building that the Hell Barge threw broke the sound barrier in an instant.

"INNNNNCOMMING!"

Hearing her scream, Rodeo notices the entire building is heading for them, so he pulls on the brakes and the building flies over them and lands on the street in front of them, barely missing them but instead, decimates countless buildings in its wake. If they were just a few more meters ahead, they would've gotten utterly crushed by the building.

With the building blocking their path, Rodeo made a right turn and start riding down the street.

Suddenly multiple laser and blaster shots came from various buildings around them due to the Hell Razers and Hell soldiers spotting them. Even getting targeted from multiple angles, Rodeo kept moving left and right and dodging the laser and blaster shots. 

"They really want us dead don't they?!" Michelle yelled out panickingly.

"Yep."

Making another right turn, Rodeo could see the bridge in the distance, but overpass of the bridge and on top of it were ten Hell Razers and standing underneath the overpass of the bridge was the mechanical monstrosity itself. 

The Doom Hunter.

[Bizzare individuals detected. Initiating weapon systems for termination.] He said with a deep mechanical voice.

"Rodeo, if you have a plan, I would like to hear it... RIGHT NOW! BECAUSE WE ARE HEADING RIGHT TOWARDS IT!" Michelle yelled out on Rodeo's ear with an even more panicking tone.

As for Rodeo, he seemed calm, looking around, he saw a metal ramp of a tow truck on the right that was at a 50 degree angle. Perfect for a stunt jump. 

With an intense eye glow, Rodeo murmured with a smirk, "This is where the fun begins."

In a slow motion sequence, Rodeo puts more speed into the motorbike and heads for the ramp to his right.

At the next instant, the motorcycle drives up it and sends itself, Rodeo and Michelle flying in the air and over the bridge in a cool motorcycle stunt jump, while at the same time, the Hell Razors fired their laser beams with all their might and the Doom Hunter fired a barrage of missiles from his mechanical sled.

But as if a god has blessed these two, none of the shots even managed to lay a hit on them and the two just flew past them.

"Liiife fiiindss a waaaaayyy!" Rodeo shouted in slow motion.

As the slow motion ends, the two land on the other side of the road and instantly make a left turn down the road, escaping the Hell Razors and the Doom Hunter's attacks.

"THAT WAS AWESOME!"

"I KNOW RIGHT!" 

But then, the two immediately ended their celebration once they turned their heads around to see ten Blood Maykrs and an Immoran fighter class hell ship tailing them. 

"Return fire using my assault rifle. I already turned the bullets in my weapons magazine into bombs. Just hit them and then I will detonate the bullets." Rodeo ordered Michelle confidently.

"The Maykrs or the ship?"

"Both!"

Taking the assault rifle from Rodeo, Michelle starts firing at them. The ship and the Maykrs responded by starting firing plasma heated blaster shots on them. 

Turning the motorcycle to the right and dodging a blaster shot from the ship, he turned it to the left and dodged another blaster shot while Michelle kept firing at them with the assault rifle and some of the bullets hit nine Blood Maykrs and a part of the Immoran ship. 

"The bullets! Detonate them!"

"Got it! SWITCH ON!"  

Bringing his right thumb down, the bullets exploded, killing all nine Blood Maykrs and surprisingly, the part of the ship that got hit by the exploding bullet just got scorched only rather than damage it severely. 

The last Blood Maykr flies towards them at full speed, effortlessly crossing several hundred meters distance between them in one fell swoop.

Once the Blood Maykr had reached the two in an instant, it tries to stab Michelle with the spear but she quickly grabs the hilt of the spear and elbows the Maykr in the face, making him lose grasp of his spear. With the spear on her hands, Michelle stabs the Maykr in the head with the spear and pressed a button on it, firing a shot from the spears tip and blasting the Maykrs head into oblivion as its body went limp and collapsed on the ground. 

"I'm keeping this." Michelle said as she held the Blood Maykr's spear in her hands.

"Tunnel up head." Rodeo called out, looking forward and saw a tunnel. "Now we can lose the ship."

Riding into the tunnel with the motorcycle, the ship heads for the end of the tunnel from where they will come out and hovers in front of it. Few minutes passed but nobody came out of the tunnel.  

"They should have been out by now." One of the Immoran Troopers spoke out.

"I think they might have taken another tunnel inside the tunnel." The other one said.

"If that's the case..." 

Slamming his fist on the control console, he yelled out angrily.

"Then we lost them!" 

*Heavy Metal Music Stops*

True to the troopers' guess, there was another tunnel inside the tunnel which was actually closed off for construction, and Rodeo and Michelle used that tunnel to escape from the ship. 

"Luck and fate are still on our side." Rodeo said with a smile.

But then, a radio call came from Amelia speaking through their helmets. 

[Rodeo, we have new problems.]

"I know, Immoran Troopers have started moving and more dangerous mechanical monstrosities from the Hell Dimension are now showing up. Correct?"

[Yes, you're correct. And the Council is thinking about taking a more lethal approach to destroy the threat.]

"Let me guess, nuke the city itself." Michelle said.

[Yes.]

"Amelia, the Hell Barge has complete immunity to all human weaponry, especially against the type of lethal weaponry that can level an entire city. Sure you'll destroy the rest of the enemy forces but the only thing that will survive city level destruction type ordinance is a Titan, and that titan being the Hell Barge."

[But I do have some good news and it might help you and the rest reach the portal site a bit quicker.]

"Well what is it?" Michelle asked.

[There is a hotel well known for having a casino in it and back in the past before the hotel was ever built, their were old secret passages made underneath the ground before the hotel was built over them and after finding out more information about the hotel's structure, their is a door that can lead you there and the most easy route to reach the portal site quicker. But to reach the hotel you need to take a monorail train from a monorail station. I'll send it to your armor's map.]

"Thanks Amelia. Also when will the council make their decision?"

[I'm not sure but I suggest you two pick up the pace. Good luck.]

Once the radio call ends. The two exited the tunnel and were now in the streets again. Pulling on the brakes, Rodeo looked up and saw a monorail track. Deciding to follow the monorail track, they finally reach the monorail station. 

"So much for the map." Michelle remarks.

"Come on Michelle, if the council does plan on blowing everything up then we gotta hurry."

"Right!"

As they get off the motorcycle, the two walk up the stairs that lead into the station and enter it. There were some possessed zombies and mecha zombies but they were quickly and easily disposed of by both of them even though the mecha zombies were somewhat irritating due to their blasters but were dealt with easily nonetheless. 

As they continued to move forward, they saw the monorail train and entered it. Rodeo got instructions from Amelia through the radio regarding the monorail train's working and controls. Finally he was able to get the train to move and now it was heading for the station that was closest to the hotel that Amelia mentioned. 

The two then break the lights with the butt of their rifles inside of the train to make sure they would be able to minimize drawing attention from hell's forces for now at least but they knew they would get suspicious of one of the monorail train's being active sooner or later. But hey, it's better to be safe than sorry. 

Taking a seat, Rodeo and Michelle catch their breaths and decide to rest from the chase they just had with the Immoran ship a minute back. 

"Let's hope the rest of the team and Finn's gang make it to the hotel." 

"Yeah. I'm still surprised you pulled a motorcycle stunt that went in a city filled to the brim with forces of the hell dimension."

"Yeah that was crazy."

"...You know if it weren't for MTF "Hammer Down" & "Jäeger Bombers" trying to keep the rest of the hell dimension's forces occupied on the other sides of the city we would have been overrun by now."

"Yeah and we need to make use of the time they are giving us to reach the portal and close it."

"Agreed." 

Laying on the seat and trying to relax as possible, Michelle's eyes suddenly open and look at Rodeo with a concerned look.

"Umm Rodeo... Do you think there's a slight chance we may encounter a Marauder? I mean they were Night Sentinels in the past and they have the most experience when it comes to close range combat."

"Yeah they can be troublesome if we do encounter one. I wonder if Evan's still out there?" 

"Either he is trying his best to reach the portal just like us or is badly injured and hiding somewhere until his wounds. I just want to believe he's still alive."

"Me too, Michelle. Me too."
