An Unexpected Turn of Events(7)

Upon the dynamite explodes with the unstable dark aether crystal, it creates a powerful purple shockwave that sends everyone but the Forsaken flying left and right. Everyone who was impacted by the shockwave stood up and noticed that the dark aether portal had become a bit dark and was whirling in shape with countless purple lighting bolts flying out of it. Undoubtedly as a result of the unstable dark aether crystal exploding close to it, it caused an unstable reaction.

"Is that good or bad for us?" Karl asked Rodeo, who seemed confused as everyone else.

"I... have no idea."

Suddenly the zombies and the dark aether crystals that were in the cavern were getting pulled into the portal, especially those dark aether zombies that were attacking the village were also drawn by the sudden force. The Forsaken attempted to kill Donna & Angie in a fit of rage, but he, too, started getting pulled into the portal.

[Shit!]

In a desperate attempt, he holds onto the ground to prevent himself from being pulled in, but Alcina straight up slashed Forsaken's fingers, causing him to lose his grip and be sucked into the portal.

"Goodbye and see you... never." Alcina whispered profoundly

"Let's move out!" Rodeo yelled.

Everyone else nodded and were about to leave, but to their shock, they were being drawn into the portal as well.

"Nani!?"

"Well, this is not gonna end well for us, is it?" Karl remarked.

Rodeo and the rest tried everything they could to get as far away from the portal as possible, but the sheer pull from the unstable dark aether portal was just too strong, so strong that it's comparable to a black hole. Even if they were to jump, run, or fly at full speed, they would still be dragged nonetheless. Soon after, Rodeo and the rest all get pulled inside the portal, which shrinks into a tiny black ball, a tiny black ball near microscopic levels, the size of a mere 1/8 of a penny.

BOOOOOOOM!

With a shrieking sound, the black ball condensed and exploded in a massive explosion that completely destroyed the entire cavern and rapidly grew in size, releasing the energy of a bomb stronger than even the strongest weapons mankind ever made.

However, it also had some other universal effects.

——————————————————————

At the village, all the dark aether forces had vanished since they were all pulled by the unstable dark aether portal. The villagers, Karl's Soldats, and even the Lycans, on the other hand, were basically frozen, no, the entire Resident Evil universe itself was frozen, frozen in time. Not a single thing, nor did time itself moved. Everything was frozen because of the chain reaction from the dark aether portal.

However...

In the middle of the frozen world, the only one who was moving was none other than G-man himself,  who had a mischievous smile on his face.

"A Suspension World phenomenon, huh?" The G-man chuckled, "Oh yes, it's all going according to plan, all according to plan, but my work with you, Mr. Rodeo, is far from over."

Opening a green colored portal behind him, G-man looked back with his smile remaining before entering the portal and disappeared.

——————————————————————

In a void between the dark aether realm and the multiverse, a portal opens and sending the Forsaken flying out before it closes.

As the Forsaken looked around and realized where he was, he screamed in rage.

[NO! I refuse to accept this defeat! Samantha Maxis and Team Requiem may have stopped and imprisoned me with Peck's machine... till I was freed by some unknown being. Now I've been thrown away from that universe, my army vanquished and dragged back into the dark aether by some meddling otherworlder and those freaks!]

The Forsaken opened a portal to the Resident Evil universe and tried to enter it only for him to get electrocuted violently, forcing him to immediately pull himself away from the portal and close it.

[I see, because the dark aether portal becoming unstable from an unstable crystal and being destroyed creates an unstable void through which I can no longer pass or access that universe anymore because of it exploding within. As Newton's Third law goes, "Every reaction has an equal and opposite reaction."] The Forsaken sighed heavily, [I'm gonna find you, otherworlder, and reduce you to atoms!] he muttered in a vicious tone, gripping his hands tightly as the void began to tremble.

Opening another portal to a different universe, the Forsaken then thought.

'That otherworlder knew about me, and yet he and his allies were able to win, fate seems to favor him. While my zombie army is endless, they are not intelligent, and while I have humans on my side to work before but that was through using the dark aether's corruption & manipulation, and even they got the dark aether powers, they still failed against Team Requiem.'

The Forsaken, in deep contemplation, briefly thinks of something that he would rather conceal.

'No, I need to make new human allies with their mind intact and not corrupted by the dark aether and have similar conquering intentions as me.' He thought while rubbing his forehead in frustration, 'I can't believe I have to do this, I have no choice but to engage in negotiations and come to a bargain. Good grief.'

For a few more seconds, the Forsaken had finally made up in his mind, so he flew into the unknown universe to make potential allies without using the dark aether as a method to recruite them on his side.

– Unknown Universe –

In the city made of brick & steel, two soldiers wearing distinctive armor to their bodies and possessing assault rifles of a unique design stood on top of the roof of a building and gazing into the city from above.

"Hallo (Hey.)" One of the soldiers said in German.

"Ja? (Yeah?)" The other soldier said in German as well.

"Haben Sie sich jemals gefragt, warum wir hier sind? (Do you ever wonder why we're here?)"

"...Um Himmels willen, das ist das zehnte Mal, dass du mich diese Woche fragst (...For the love of god, that is the tenth time you've asked me this week.)"

Suddenly, a portal opened behind them, causing the two soldiers to immediately react by pointing their rifles at the portal in surprise and confusion at the strange thing.

Emerging from the portal was the Forsaken in his human form, but this time, instead of his old Soviet uniform, he is dressed in a different set of clothing, more akin to a stylish suit and tie. Without his helmet, it reveals his face of a handsome and muscular young man with black hair, purple eyes, and sharp facial features.

"Einfrieren! Hände in die Luft! (Freeze! Hands in the air!)"

The Forsaken looks around and notices the two soldiers racing towards him, both holding weapons and aimed at him cautiously.

"Gehen Sie sofort auf den Boden! (Get on the ground, now!)" One of the soldiers orders.

"I have come to negotiate and bargain." The Forsaken says in his human voice.

"Gehen Sie auf den Boden, sonst schießen wir! (Get on the ground, or we will fire!)" The second soldier yells louder than the other.

"I must speak to your leaders," The Forsaken says in a chilling tone that causes the soldiers to instinctively fire their guns at him. To their shock, the bullets disintegrated into purple particles when they reach within an inch of him, and then their guns suddenly evaporated like the bullets.

The two soldiers stared in disbelief at where their guns had been just seconds ago. They glance up at the Forsaken, wondering what on Earth he is.

"I'm gonna say this one last time, I have come to negotiate and bargain, and I wish to speak with your leaders urgently." The Forsaken demanded as his eyes blazed in purple light, causing the two soldiers to exchange glances at one another, fearing that if this strange man meant them harm, they'd all be dead.

"Nun, dieser Tag wurde seltsamer (Well, this day get weirder)"

"Ja, mein Freund (Yes, my friend)"

——————————————————————

It was nighttime in the deserts of Arizona at the SCP universe as a cold wind blew the area in a silent atmosphere. On a small dune in the middle of the desert lie two spherical objects with the word 'Turbo' written on them.

The left and right eye of the corpse.

Just then, an entity manifested around them, resembling a robotic humanoid in appearance.

This was the guardian of the two eyeballs.

The guardian was waiting for a true and worthy person to take the eyes and make the corpse parts complete, but if it sees anyone that is a threat to the eyes, it will guard it no matter what until that worthy person comes for the eyes and takes it.

But should D4C ever discover and obtain them. There will be chaos.

Within the passage of dimensions, Rodeo, the four lords, Miranda and Dimitrescu daughters were still being transported somewhere through the dark aether portal, traveling across space and time into the unknown.

"I'm going to die!" Daniela cried.

"Your not going to die!" Rodeo shouted at her.

After what it felt like an eternity of plunging through the dimensional passageway, they finally noticed something coming up at the end of the portal.

"You're seeing this?" Alcina inquired to Rodeo.

"Yeah! Get ready for a fall."

"Fall?!" Moreau exclaimed.

"Yes. Fall."

——————————————————————

In the skies of a brilliant-looking city, a rift in purple light could be seen opening, and out of it fell Rodeo, Miranda, the four lords, and the Dimitrescu daughters.

As soon as Rodeo noticed them falling towards an alleyway in the midst of their fall, he, Karl and Alcina landed on their feet on the ground of the alleyway. With swift reflexes, Rodeo catches Donna, Angie, and Moreau from hitting the ground, while Miranda and the Dimitrescu daughters use their flying abilities to land safely on the ground.

"Good, everyone is safe and accounted for."

"Damn it, Donna!" Karl shouted angrily, "We told you and Angie to stay behind, and because of your stunt, we're in the middle of... wherever the hell we are!"

"Enough, Karl." Rodeo whispered firmly at him, "If it weren't for her stunt and with luck on our and her side, we wouldn't be able to send the Forsaken back to where he came from and stop his invasion."

"Whatever, kid." Karl scoffs, "Now what's the plan?"

Rodeo answered, "One of us needs to leave this alleyway and find out where we are without raising suspicions."

"I'll do it," Miranda volunteered, "I have an ability that allows me to shapeshift into whatever person or clothing I need to."

"Okay then."

A multitude of black wings emerged from Miranda's back and wrapped around her like a cocoon. After a couple of moments later, the feather cocoon opened up to reveal her new appearance.

While her face and looks remained the same, the only difference was her clothing, which consisted of a light yellow button short sleeve T-shirt, a black pencil skirt, and high heel shoes with a lab coat over the shirt. A disguise she previously used when she was secretly working with The Connections in the Resident Evil universe.

This made Donna and Angie give out a look of admiration upon witnessing it.

"That will work."

Miranda, in her new disguise, walked out of the alleyway and entered the streets. While walking through the sidewalks, she observed a couple of people roaming around the streets, but not too many as they were just minding their own business.

As Miranda was moving forward down the street, she made a right turn in the sidewalks, only to accidentally bump into a man in a red coat.

"My apologies, sir. I didn't see you there, I was distracted," Miranda said politely, "But if you don't mind me asking, do you know any store that sells newspapers around here?"

"Why yes, of course. Just keep going straight down this road, make a left turn, and you'll see a store with the latest print of newspapers available." The man answered with a grin spreading across his face.

Miranda wasn't sure, but she was sensing a deadly aura from the man that would make anyone flee or die in an instant simply by nearing his presence.

"Something wrong?" The man suddenly asked, snapping Miranda back to reality.

"...Nothing, just had a bad feeling about something."

"I'm pretty sure it's just your imagination, or perhaps... instincts warning you of danger." The man said as his smile grew bigger.

"Yes... I think." Miranda said as she quickly walked past him and headed for the store he mentioned.

As soon as Miranda left his sight, the man that she spoke to sensed something very odd with her... something that isn't human in nature. With a grin on his face grew even wider, he decided to follow.

Returning to Miranda, she was able to reach the store and get a newspaper, but was shocked to see that it was the year 1999 according to the newspaper, which belong to the The Daily Telegraph, a British newspaper well-known throughout England, which only confirmed where she was and given the flags she'd noticed outside made her further accept the fact where they are exactly.

"Now this might be a problem."

Looking at the area around her, Miranda hastily kept the newspaper in her coat and left the store, deciding to head back to the alleyway where Rodeo and the rest were… unbeknownst to Miranda, the same person she encountered before watched her leaving from afar and continued following her.

——————————————————————

Back in the allyway with Rodeo and the rest, they were all still waiting for Miranda to return. Some were patient, some were bored, but only one had a different feeling.

'Man, after decades of being in that damn village thanks to that bitch Miranda, I never get to personally see some tall infrastructures, oh how I miss this.' Karl thought as he gazed out at the marveling view of the streets of the city from the corner. For the first time in decades, Karl felt… free.

The feeling of freedom he so desperately craves is right in front of him.

If he wants to, he can flee from the group and never see them again, and starting a new life. However, for some reason, he felt very hesitant as there was something odd about the place they were in, a dangerous feeling, causing him to stick himself to the group from the feeling if he ever wants to go alone.

"Goddamnit, why do I have to keep sticking with these nutjobs." Karl muttered to himself.

Soon later, the group noticed Miranda arrive, but they could also see the look of surprise in her face.

"Miranda, what's with that shock look?" Rodeo wondered. Once Miranda stood in front of him, she began to explain to him where they were. After hearing her explanation, this reminded Rodeo of something, and realization hits him like Karl's hammer.

"Naniiiiiiiii?! We're in London and the year is 1999!?"

"Yes."

"No! No! No! No! NO!"

Rodeo's panic attack left everyone confuse, wondering why he is reacting in such a way.

"Okay. Okay, calm down, Rodeo. Let's not start messing up plots today and stay somewhere safe." Rodeo whispered to himself repeatedly. Calming himself down a couple of times, he looked back at the rest and said, "We need to find a place to hide."

"I found a small abandoned building not far from here," Miranda stated, "The windows and doors are all boarded up from the outside, so it's the perfect place to hide for now."

"Good, but we need to go there without being seen, so we'll stick to the rooftops and head there stealthily."

Everyone nods, and they make their way for the abandoned building by using the rooftops as a way to get there... still not noticing that the same man Miranda encountered was watching them leaving with his smile grew even wider.

——————————————————————

After traveling for minutes, Rodeo and the rest were successfully able to reach the abandoned building, which had its windows and doors boarded up from the outside and, luckily, nobody was inside. They were currently sitting in one of the rooms of the abandoned building, thinking what to do next regarding their current situation. Rodeo still had his armor, Karl still had the uber backpack with him, and Donna still had the sack which contained the flowers in it.

"This city is beautiful." Bela said, gazing at the beautifully lit city in astonishment through one of the boarded-up windows along with Cassandra, Daniela, Donna and Angie.

"But I miss home." Angie said sadly.

"We'll find a way back." Rodeo said, "If one door closes for us, another will undoubtedly open for us."

"I hope so."

Looking at Miranda, Rodeo then asked, "I do want to ask though Miranda, were you followed by anyone?"

Miranda shook her head, "No, I wasn't, so we are good for now."

"Well, well, well, aren't you the most interesting of individuals I have ever seen?" said an unfamiliar voice from somewhere.

"Well so much for not being followed." Karl remarked.

'That voice, is it that man I ran into earlier?' Miranda thought.

"Show yourself! We can talk."

"Look to your left."

Everyone turned to the left, where they saw a man seated on a chair with his cheek resting on his fist and his hat lowered to cover his eyes.

Furrowing his brows, Karl suddenly asked.

"Who the hell are you?"

The man, who revealed to be none other than Alucard himself said as he grins, looking at them with crimson menacing eyes beneath his orange glasses.
