There was a full moon that night. It was the end of her and Julian's last shift for that week. It had been quiet. Nothing like a boring night at the station, cleaning, and organizing. The two things she hated doing the most. But having Julian there made it fun.

They were finishing up washing the rig when she felt liquid splash across her face.

"Hey!" she hollered when she realized he had been to blame. She dunked her hands into the sudsy bucket and returned the favor. They both laughed so hard, chasing each other around the truck until their uniform tops were soaked.

He reached over and pulled her close for a kiss. Their wet shirts clung together as the air between them disappeared.
