Part two

A week later early in the morning at Destiny and Sammy's house Destiny woke up early not feeling well. She got out of bed quickly and rushed to the bathroom throwing up.

"Are you feeling okay?" Sammy asked worried as she finished throwing up, "get me a pregnancy test," she said washing her mouth, "pregnancy?" Sammy said confused.

"I think so, I am late on my period but that could be from the pill, I don't know. Please get it for me now please!" Destiny begged Sammy running back into the bathroom again throwing up more.

Sammy went over to the cupboard where they kept all their medicine and grabbed a box of pregnancy tests. She ran back to Destiny who was still in the bathroom. "You are pregnant aren't you?" Sammy said taking the test out of the wrapper and handing it to Destiny.

Destiny took the test in her hand shrugging her shoulders and trying to figure out what was wrong with her body. She shook her head. "Get out so I can take the test."

Sammy nodded and closed the door behind her leaving her alone.

Destiny sat down on the toilet and peed on the stick. It only took about thirty seconds before there was a second line to appear. She jumped off the toilet looking at the shock test. "No way I'm pregnant!" She said looking at the pregnancy test. A few minutes later Sammy came back to check on her. "What does it say?" He asked as he opened the bathroom door, "positive." She answered looking at him, "That's great!" Sammy rejoiced hugging her.

"Aren't you happy?" He asked looking at her smiling, "No, I told you already I don't want any kids!" She said pulling away from him, "I know but, babies are blessings they are also cute. Can't you see how cute Daniel and Aria's babies are," he stated, "I don't care if they are a blessing or cute, I'm not keeping this child!" She remarked throwing away the test, "No you can't possibly do that, think about it, Des. You can't kill our child!" He said holding her hands, "It's final, I don't want to keep this child. The only thing that kids bring is pain and stress." She stated, "I promise if you keep the baby you don't have to do anything, I'll take care of it and won't ask you to do anything. Just keep the baby please." He begged her panicking, "I don't care about what you say, I'm not keeping this child." She said as she walked out of the bathroom.

That night after dinner Sammy tried to convince Destiny to keep the baby and not abort it. Bust destiny never changed her mind she decided that she was not going to give up and just abort the baby. The next day Sammy tried to talk to her again but she wouldn't listen to anything he said. She already made an appointment to abort the baby and nothing that Sammy said to her changed her mind.

She called the doctor's office and made an appointment for that afternoon. When Sammy tried to stop her she would tell him that she had already set it up and he needed to leave her alone.

When the day came Destiny wants even feel sad or nervous. She had gone to the clinic by herself since Sammy was devastated that she was going to abort their baby.

He didn't want her to go through with it but Destiny knew that she had to.

After a long wait, the nurse came out to her and asked her to come with her. She followed the nurse down to the room where she waited for the doctor. After what felt like forever the doctor came in and gave her some injections to put her to sleep.

Destiny laid back on the table while the doctor started to numb her stomach. She looked up at the ceiling letting everything fade away into a deep sleep.

Days passed and Destiny was recovering from the abortion. She went on as if nothing ever happened. Ever since the day she had to abortion, Sammy decided to leave and have some time to think about things. Even though Destiny was worried about him she still wasn't sad about aborting the baby since it was her body.

One day while cleaning up the kitchen after dinner Destiny noticed that the phone was ringing.

"Hello?" She answered picking up the cordless phone, "Hi Destiny, it's Mom." She heard her mother say on the other end of the phone, "Oh hi, what are you doing Mom? I thought you were back in Florida," Destiny said, "Well I'm kind of on vacation, I've been here for a couple of days now. Why don't you come down to stay with me for a little bit, I miss you and we haven't seen each other in a while. Plus I need your help with something." Destiny nodded listening to her mother tell her about what she was looking for.

"Alright, I'll be there in the morning, I don't want to intrude on your weekend." Destiny replied, "No worries sweetie. See you tomorrow." Her mother said hung up the phone.

later that same evening when she went to sleep she felt lonely in the big bed and the big room. Now that Sammy wasn't there with her she felt so lonely. She thought about calling Sammy but she didn't want to bother him. She knew that he was still angry about her aborting the child and he wouldn't have picked up the call.

She fell asleep crying thinking about Sammy and the child they were supposed to have.

The next morning when she got up she went straight to the shower. As she was in the shower she could hear the doorbell ring, she quickly washed her hair and dried her body off. She wrapped the towel around her and went to the front door to open it. Sammy stood outside the door dressed in white jeans and a black t-shirt. "your back." She said nervously, "Sorry for leaving without telling you. But I'm back now." Sammy said walking past her, "I was thinking something," he said as he sat down on the couch, "what?" She asked nervously closing the door behind her.

"I think we should take a break from each other." He told her, "Huh? What do you mean?" She asked nervously, "What I mean is that we should take a break from each other. It's obvious that our feelings aren't the same anymore, it's always something with you. Ever since we got together, it's always what you want and not what I want! And I'm tired of that. I thought after marrying we could leave our last relationship problems in the past but that did work." He stated,

"I thought marrying was going to make me the happiest person but I guess I was wrong. All I want is to have a family with you, but you don't want that." He said, "I begged and begged for you to keep the baby, but you only thought about your feelings and not how I felt." He sighed, "That's why I want us to take a break from each other and rethink our thoughts, and we both feel like we can't continue in this marriage no more than we get a divorce." He said, "Why would you think that?" Destiny asked in a sad tone, "Because all through our relationship everything was only about you. Whatever you said went, even though I never liked the things we did most of the time I still did them because I loved you! But when I asked for things that I liked you always had something to say about it." He explained, "Sometimes I just feel like you use me to get rid of your past trauma." He added.

Destiny sat down across from Sammy, "I know I used you to get rid of my past. But that's gone now and I'm trying to move on with my life. I'm not asking for anything that I shouldn't have." She said in a low voice, "You're not giving me much choice. I'm sorry Destiny, but until you change who you are and become someone I can love again I don't think I will be able to continue this relationship. You either go back to being you or we have nothing left." He said in a calm tone,

"But what if I do become the person you love? Then what?" she asked.

"Then we can try again and see what happens. I don't want to give up on you yet, but I am starting to think that it might be best to let you go. I can't deal with this any longer." He said,

"Just give me another chance!" she shouted, "please. I know I screwed up big time, but I promise you that I won't screw up again."

"We need some time apart to think about this." He said, "And yes, I will give you another chance, but you have to prove to me that you've changed. No more of your old self. If you do that I will take you back, but until then I'm done with you. Goodbye."

"Wait a minute, please, wait, come back here. Why are you doing this to me?" she screamed, "I can change, I promise you. Just give me one more chance."

"If you change your ways then maybe I'll consider giving you another chance. But right now you haven't changed enough for me to want you back." He replied,

"Please don't do this to me, Sammy. I love you. I do," she cried, "please talk to me. I promise I won't mess up again." She pleaded.

"Sorry. This is for the best." He said, "Goodbye Destiny." With that, he turned around and walked away.

Destiny ran out the door and grabbed his arm, "No, wait, please just...wait!" She begged.

He looked at her with tears in his eyes, "You are a good woman Destiny, but I just can't handle this anymore." He said as he pulled her hands off him.

She fell to her knees crying, "Okay, okay, I understand."

"Alright. Good luck with that." He said as he walked away.
