weeks passed by and Lucas was out of place. Locked himself in his room, ate nothing, and didn't want to talk to anyone. His family tried everything to cheer him up but nothing worked, finding out that your best friend was sleeping with the person you liked was heartbreaking. Mire coven hurtful than being tossed aside by the person you love.

But Jun has had enough of his cousin's shenanigans, he didn't stay in New Zealand just so he could see his cousins be heartbroken the whole summer. He was tired of it and he hated the people who were involved in this problem.

On a Saturday night, Jun barged into Lucas's room and dragged him out of his bed. "I've had enough of this, fuck those girls and the boy!" He exclaimed, "They ant worth shit, I came here to hang out with my cousin. Not a heartbroken mess." He said, "Now go and get ready, we're going out!" He exclaimed pushing him into the bathroom.

Reluctantly, Lucas complied with Jun's insistence. He took a quick shower and got dressed, still carrying the weight of his heartbreak. As they stepped out into the night, Jun determinedly led Lucas to a vibrant and lively part of the town, far removed from the shadows of his recent pain.

After driving around they pulled up in front of a house where there was a car surrounding it. "Who's house is this?" Lucas asked, "Park boy, he invited me so I thought what a good way to get your mind off those trash people." Jun said, "Do I have to go in?" Lucas groaned, "Yes!" Jun said as he got out of the car and went to open Lucas's door. "Trust me you will have so much fun." He said dragging him out of the car.

At the door they met Park Boy waiting for them, Jun ran to him and kissed him. "Thought you said you weren't coming," the guy said, "I had to get my cousin out of the house somehow." He replied. They looked at Lucas whose arms were crossed and looked dead. "Cheer up cuzo, let's go inside." He said grabbing him and taking him inside where it was packed with people. The house smelled like smoke and Alcohol, Lucas covered his mouth disgusted by the smell.

"It smells disgusting in here." He told Jun, "It's not that bad, let's get you a drink." He said taking him through the crowd of people. "I don't drink Jun!" He said, "There's a first time for everything." He said as he reached the table full of drinks. As they were walking towards the table Jun quickly stopped and turned to block Lucas's sight. "What?" "Are there no drinks?" He asked, "Yup, no more drinks here. Let's go into the kitchen." He said, he quickly tried to grab Lucas's hands and take him away but then Lucas stopped. "There's drinks here, what are you talking about," he said pushing him aside, "No don't look!" Jun exclaimed trying to stop him but it was too late; the damage was already done. To the right corner of the table, there was Liam and Evelyn going down on each other.

"We should leave Lucas," Jun said grabbing him, Lucas stood there frozen trying to process the image in front of him. Suddenly Liam noticed him and slightly pushed Evelyn away. A tear dropped down his face and he quickly walked out of the party; Liam pushed Evelyn away and chased after him.

Lucas stormed outside the house and walked towards the door until Liam stopped him. "What are you doing here?!" Liam asked, "Seriously Liam, is that all!" Lucas exclaimed releasing himself, "The question is what are you doing here, With my best friend!" "You know Liam, I balled my eyes out for weeks just because of all this mess. And what are you doing, at a party kissing my best friend without a care in the world?!" He cried tears filled in his eyes.

"Ha, when will you realize that Liam is not meant for you." Evelyn chuckled from afar, "Matter of fact you're nothing to him, I had him first and I will forever have him. Get that through your head." She told him. "You bitch!" Jun burst out as he tried to attack her, but Lucas grabbed him before he did anything. "That's right, you can't do anything. You're just a worthless bitch, you don't deserve Love or anything." She said, Lucas sniffled as he wiped his tears. "You're right, I was the dumb one to think that you were my best friend. A person I can trust." "But it's okay, I've seen the truth now. I won't waste my tears and time on you guys." He said walking away and dragging Jun along. "Let me beat this bitch up Lucas, she has the fucking audacity to easy that to you!" He exclaimed as he struggled to release himself.

Lucas, feeling a mix of anger and sorrow, pulled Jun away from the chaotic scene. They walked away from the house, leaving the toxic atmosphere behind. Jun was seething with anger, ready to confront the betrayal they had witnessed.

As they walked, Lucas couldn't shake off the feeling of being betrayed not only by Liam but also by Evelyn, his supposed best friend. Jun, sensing Lucas's turmoil, put a comforting arm around him. "Let's get out of here. We don't need people like them in your lives," Jun said, trying to console his cousin.

In the car, Lucas busted out crying. "Why do I feel this way? WHY DO I FEEL SO SHITTY!" He cried, "Let's go, we're taking a trip the the Bahamas first thing tomorrow morning. Fuck all these shitty people." Jun said turning on the car and driving away.

Once they got home, Lucas ran straight to Love. Love hugged him showing him he had his mother's comfort. "It's okay sweetheart, it's not your fault." She patted his back, "I'm human too mom, I also have feelings." He cried, "I know baby, there are some people in this world who are cruel to kinds souls like yours." She said.

The next morning, the sun rose over the peaceful horizon as Lucas, still emotionally bruised, found himself boarding a plane with Jun headed for the Bahamas. The warm breeze and the sound of the ocean waves provided a therapeutic escape from the recent heartache.

"Are we really doing this?" Lucas asked, "Yes! We're going to find you a kickback. You're going to have your hot boy summer Cuzo." Jun said, "We're not going to let these people ruin your summer." He said as he sat him down and covered him with a blanket. "Just sit and relax, and don't you dare think of those shitty ass people." He said giving him a teddy bear and patting him on the head.

"You're going to be treated like you need to too."

As the plane touched down on the sandy shores of the Bahamas, Lucas couldn't help but feel a mix of anticipation and trepidation. The tropical paradise held the promise of healing, and Jun was determined to ensure his cousin had a summer filled with rejuvenation and new beginnings.

The Bahamian air, filled with the scent of saltwater and blooming flowers, instantly lifted Lucas's spirits. Jun had arranged for them to stay in a beachfront villa, a peaceful haven away from the turmoil left behind. The turquoise waters and golden sunsets provided the perfect backdrop for Lucas to leave his heartbreak in the past.

Days turned into a blissful routine of sun-soaked adventures. Jun, true to his promise, orchestrated a "hot boy summer" for Lucas. They explored coral reefs, indulged in local delicacies, and danced under the starlit skies. Jun made it his mission to replace the painful memories with moments of joy and laughter.

One afternoon, as they lounged on the beach, Jun handed Lucas a cold drink and grinned. "Today's the day, Cuzo. We're going to meet new people, and you'll see there are others out there who appreciate the incredible person you are."
