The Amber haired man

The Ability of a mandraun surges from their inner self....

Keep calm, focus and you'll be able to find your true ability...

You are, an ability wielder...

Eradan...

Eradan gasped as he drew in lots of air through his mouth. His blue eyes shot open, all widened to the fullest that it seemed like it would pop out any moment. He breathed heavily as his chest rose in correspondence. He kept on panting until his breath finally normalized. His chest now rose averagely.

Blue eyes darted from one place to another as they were welcomed by tiny strings all adorned with beads. They were hanging in front of him, their rears facing him. His nose inhaled aromatic scents of spicy foods, one that made his mouth water.

His memories suddenly kicked in. Eradan could remember jumping into a raging stream while he was chased by unknown individuals. Well, he could frantically remember passing out after bumping his head on a stone within that stream. Screw that stone! He cursed inwardly.

An overwhelming feeling of discomfort embraced him. Wait! Where was he? Came into the youth's mind as he now beheld this foreign environment. His mind began to search for the possible tendencies that would've brought him here.

Did those Individuals finally catch him? Eradan thought to himself, a frown on his face. Another conclusion bumped into his head 'Maybe they actually did!'.

The youth suspiciously glanced around this house and wondered at the chaos it was in. Tops of tables were scattered with bottles, books, and mugs, while a few stools were overturned. A shelf at the corner was filled with cylindical glasses and a few unknown apparatus. A rope crossed the wall and was occupied with hanged clothes. Come to think of it, a portion of the roof was open! For sure this place must be abandoned.

Eradan felt so uncomfortable that he decided to get up from the interwoven bamboo bed he laid on.

"Ugh!" He groaned.

Eradan felt a sharp prick on his forehead as he wanted to stay in a sitting position.

"You're awake!" A voice unexpectedly said while a masculine figure walked into this wrecked house he was in. "Thought you would never wake up" He added as he inched closer.

Eradan glanced at this individual that came closer to him and built a high wall of cautiousness... His blue eyes pinned on that individual.

"I want to help you," The other said, sensing the thick aura of cautiousness the youth released. Eradan's face was a very notable proof for that. With those blue eyes of his, sternly pinned on him. He could only but smile... Adorable!

"Here, let me help." The individual urged further, stretching out his hands for assistance. Slowly,  Eradan let down his guard. Once more, He casted a glance at this individual and assured himself that he was a trustworthy type. Well, he could've killed him if he wanted to.

With a slight nod, Eradan urged the individual to help him. He felt firm hands grip his shoulder; Gently lifting him up until he was now in a sitting position.

"Thanks" Eradan muttered as he removed his legs from the bed and placed them on the floor. From a glimpse of what he saw, this individual was quite handsome with his stunning Amber eyes and hair. His face looked childish but was really attractive— it reminded him of his previous face.

"It's alright, you're welcome." The other replied. He walked towards a nearby chair and sat down.

"Sorry my abode isn't that presentable... It looks abandoned hahaha. Hope you're okay with it?" The individual added, picking a mug to drink from it.

It's indeed in chaos and abandoned! Eradan thought to himself before voicing out "Yeah I'm okay with it as far as there's a roof over my head... It's nice."

This Amber haired guy gave out a soft chuckle, his enticing voice ringing within the house. "No need to flatter me, I could tell that this house is actually the opposite in your mind." He stated after he was done laughing.

Eradan gave a weak smile.

"You could call me Andrew by the way. Andrew Cazzen!" The other suddenly blurted out before gulping down the contents of the mug he held. Eradan didn't need to be told what to do. so,

"I'm Err... Umm My name's Dane Francis."

What the hell was wrong with him! He could've blurted out his real name to a complete stranger. Besides, he'll have to dwell with this new name from now on... Dane Francis. It's nice though, Haha.

Andrew Cazzen was it? Well, it could be his real name or not... Humph!

"It's nice meeting you 'Dane Francis" The Amber haired youth said and Eradan replied with a bright smile.

"And you too Andrew Cazzen... Besides, I'll like to know what this place is called?"

Andrew Cazzen cleared his throat then answered, "Here's called the Vemis County of the Sinistral Olyr province. It's a sub, sub location for my kingdom."

Eradan was taken aback by his answer. Brows furrowed in deep thought as the youth tried remembering where he had heard that 'Olyr' name from. He muttered the word silently hoping to remember about it but it wasn't working.

"Is everything alright Dane?" The Amber haired youth asked in deep concern but Eradan shrugged it off saying it was fine. He accepted.

"Are you perhaps hungry? I have some done meal for us to eat." Cazzen suggested, since this youth before him had passed out for six days. Six days of no food and water, just his eyes closed and his body inactive.

Eradan on the other hand wanted to refuse the offer but his stomach was saying otherwise. He could now recollect the mouth watering aroma he had perceived when he woke up.

A loud growl erupted within this house...

"Ghn. Sure, I'm starving." Eradan sent a hand on his stomach.

Andrew dropped the mug he held and went outside to get something for them to eat. Within minutes, he was back into the cottage holding a pair of filled plates that released mouth watering aroma.

Eradan's belly growled in desperation but the youth just had to ignore it's trouble, he wasn't yet sure about the meal... Maybe it could be poisoned.

Andrew dropped both dishes on a table and ushered the youth to join him; Which he did. Eradan gazed at the dish that was served before him. He did know how he was going to eat it as the dish wasn't as appetizing as the aroma it gave. The dish was some green coloured thick soup which looked like a mashed pancreas. Besides, he wasn't yet sure if the dish was actually safe.

"Aren't you eating?" Eradan heard. He saw the other's gaze at him.

"I will." He replied, shifting his gaze to the meal before him.

"Yeah you should, before it turns cold and disgusting. Less I forget, it's not poisoned if that's why you're reluctant to eat." The other sounded pained and Eradan felt a sharp pain on his chest. He felt like the most ungrateful wench in the world. He immediately took the spoon and began to eat.

After sometime, both individuals were done with their meal. The plates were taken away by Andrew who refused to allow Eradan help him with it. On the contrary, Eradan was glad that he ate the meal as it was really delicious. He was really amazed at how kind this man had been to him despite not knowing who he was. The world really needed people like him.

Andrew was later back and the youth requested to go out for a stroll.

"Should I escort you?" Andrew felt really bothered and concerned that this Aelkan mandraun might be harmed or might miss his road. Despite the fact that he acted more masculine than the other Aelkans he had seen, somethings could unexpectedly happen to him and he wouldn't want that.

Come to think of it, Andrew was quite surprise at himself with the way he selflessly cared for this alluring youth before him. He had never felt concerned or bothered about someone except this individual. Was there something he was missing?

"I'll be totally be fine and back in a giffy" This blonde haired youth assured. Giving up, Andrew decided to let the other go and refresh his eyesight. He bid a farewell to the youth then returned back to what he was previously doing. He had shoes to work on. Eradan on the other hand made his way to only God knows...

HUFF!!

HUFF!!!

Were the sound that could be heard within this lush green forest as a little girl of about eight years was chased by green monstrous humanoid creature. Vasperi they were called. Creatures with green skin, yellow sharp teeth and supposedly yellow eyes which were black at the moment. Several of this creatures ran after this little Elven girl who kept on with her own pace, hoping to outrun those creatures.

"Mummy!.. Daddy!" This little Elven girl wailed as she kept on with her steps. Tears of pain left her eyes as she recollected the scene she had witnessed earlier. Both her mother and father who were agro elves were murdered in cold blood by those creatures that were now after her.

THUD!

She tripped over a stone and fell on the grassy soil. Her body began to quaver at the moment due to the after effect of her used up adrenaline. She groaned in deep pain at the injury she had sustained. Trails of blood besmeared her knee downwards.

She tried to get on her feet and continue running Until she'll approach her town, but she couldn't. Her injured knee had been slightly dislocated.

From afar, she spotted those creatures approach her. As brave as she was, she decided to crawl; At least to keep on moving.

Those creatures on the other hand were glad for the fact that their prey had fallen. They increased their pace and doubled their steps, each hoping to be the first to attack her.

It was only a matter of time before this helpless little elf was surrounded by those hideous green creatures. She was encircled by them as they gently inched closer.

The atmosphere at this point could be tagged as epic and dolent. Slimy saliva leaked from the orals of this creatures, while some wiped theirs with their tongues.

A light whimper was heard...

This little Elven had finally given up, her bravery all shattered. She was going to end up like her parents. She wrapped her knees with both hands and dug her face in between, Letting the worst outcome happen.

Loud animalistic growls sounded as those vasperies leapt towards the little girl...
