Alex is born in a continent where power is respected. His mother dies during his birth. His father then marries another wife with whom he gets two sons. Alex fails to awaken his powers thus his mother treats him badly while his father turns a blind eye to his son's predicament.

Alex is fed up with the treatment he receives thus he decides to leave his home and try to find how fate has planned for him. After leaving home, he awakens after receiving a skill book named the system awakening skill book.

Let's join Alex in his adventure in a journey full of thorns where he rises from grass to grace.

The Golden Star

“My cultivation has been crippled and the whole kingdom is now under someone else.” 


Sameer’s brows were raised slightly. He didn’t expect that the old man would really be Anthony De Romani and his cultivation was crippled. But how could that happen? After all, there was nobody stronger than him(Anthony) in the two Kingdoms other than himself (Sameer), right? 


“Who crippled you,” he asked curiously. 


“I-I….” It was only at this time that he noticed that he didn’t know who Alex was. He hadn’t even seen his face. He didn’t know of his name at all. All he knew was that he was from Greenfield and was Jane’s brother. But, he didn’t even know Jane as the one who had seen her, Oliver, had already been killed. 


Furthermore, whatever was used to track her location had already been taken by Alex. The only distinguishing features that he could see from Alex was the pair of brown eyes, the young voice and black hair, nothing more than that.
