Alex is born in a continent where power is respected. His mother dies during his birth. His father then marries another wife with whom he gets two sons. Alex fails to awaken his powers thus his mother treats him badly while his father turns a blind eye to his son's predicament.

Alex is fed up with the treatment he receives thus he decides to leave his home and try to find how fate has planned for him. After leaving home, he awakens after receiving a skill book named the system awakening skill book.

After they talked about Alex for a certain period of time, Alvin asked the most important question, “So, what are you guys going to do next?” 


After a moment of silence, Ruth replied. “That will have to depend on what we will agree on.” This was the decision that she had made. The reason for this being that, the system had already given a hint that, they and Alex shared the same destiny. 


So, they might have to work together on the future or they might end up being enemies. But, what she would really like was for them to work together. 


After hearing Ruth’s words, Alvin let out a sigh. He was the parent here, but now, he was forced to depend on his daughters. This was something that a parent wouldn’t wish. 


After all, the two daughters of his were only fifteen years old. As teenagers, they were supposed to be having a good life, enjoying their youth under the protection of their parents. In the end, there was no such thing in the cruel world where power was king.
