Chapter 20.2

Rubicon was the southernmost region of the Aeonian continent. It’s only bordering nation on the continent was Laguna, most of that border consisting of the Zenith Frontier, which formed the transition zone between the two nations’ environments.

Where Laguna was known for verdant fields, coursing rivers, and sprawling forests, Rubicon was it’s clear opposite. Its northernmost point, right where the Frontier ended, was dry and rocky, forming within the southern end of the Zenith Mountain Range that made up most of the landmass around there. What few rivers had carved out those canyons had long settled into mountainside lakes or sparse mud plains and swamps.
