The Mysterious Call: What Lured Them to the Abandoned Village?

As they caught their breath, the group decided to push on. They followed Maya's directions, trudging along until the effort left them gasping for air. Some members struggled to keep up, while others sought shortcuts to ease the strain. Still, they kept walking, never realizing what lay ahead.

Without warning, Maya stumbled and fell, writhing in pain. The others rushed to her side, trying to understand what had happened. Seola's voice trembled as she asked, "Are you okay? What's going on?"

Maya could barely speak, her face was contorted in agony. "I don't know. It's the same stomach pain I had in the mountains," she managed to say.

Jaebin, the group's certified medic, offered to give Maya some medicine. But before he could act, he knelt down beside her and asked, "How intense is the pain?" His concern was plain to see.

"It's like there are magnets in my stomach," Maya groaned. "Something is pulling me in that direction." She pointed a trembling finger towards the horizon.

Everyone looked at her, puzzled by her cryptic words. "What magnets?" Minho asked, his worry growing by the second.

Maya closed her eyes, trying to make sense of what she felt. "I don't know," she whispered. "I can sense something, an energy that's calling out to me."

Daehyun, concerned for Maya's well-being, suggested that they rest and tend to her needs. But as soon as he spoke, Maya's pain vanished, as if it had never been there. The others stared in amazement, wondering what kind of power had overcome her.

Maya quickly stood up confused and made everyone confused too.

"What happened? You should lay down first," Seola added.

Maya told them her condition, "I am not feeling any pain. I am okay."

"Are you sure? You are not pranking us, right?" Minho spoke with doubt.

"No, I really felt pain before, but now everything was gone within a second. Wait! Wait a minute, let me think about something," Maya tried to convince them that she was telling the truth and thought that something is not right.

Maya asked Daehyun with something on her mind, "What did you just say before when I was laying down."

Daehyun and everyone were very confused, "I didn't know clearly, I just said that we should wait before going there so that you can rest."

"OH, MY GOD! YOU ARE SO MEAN!" Maya shouted at the top of her lungs.

Everyone got frozen in their position and were too stunned to speak, and the confusion was at its peak.

"Why are you saying that I didn't mean to hurt you, I just said you should rest, I am sorry, I hurt you it's my fault, I don't know how I say this, but I am sor-."

"Can you please keep quiet; I am not talking to you, I am talking to him," Maya said angrily while looking in the direction where nothing was but grass and flowers.

"Then who are you talking to? I see no one," Daehyun added.

"The energy that stays with me always at that time was in my stomach, and when he listened to your words, "We don't go until your stomach pain is gone", it came out so that I could go there, and don’t you think that's a mean thing?" "My hair and this energy only care about themselves."

She took a deep breath and continued complaining, "And when I was attacked by a factory worker, none of them saved me; when I got shot by an arrow, they also didn't care about me, but when I tried to take my own life, no matter how many times, they always saved me because I haven't completed the purpose yet." She taunted at her own hair, which seemed to have a secret love affair with the wind, constantly flirting and floating like a kite who was not ready to settle down. And there was something else invisible that loved to play hide-and-seek with Maya, like a shy toddler hiding from their mom in a game of peekaboo.

"I think when the purpose was done, they let me die and they don't even care. I hate them," Maya starts crying like a child whose friend hit him and she falls on the sand.

New Minizs started to form from her tears.

"Oh, my children come here, your nanny is here," Minho said whose eyes filled with joy after seeing Minizs.

"That's very sad. Maya, I'm so sad for you, I feel so sorry for you," Jaena tried to console her but she couldn't stop herself from laughing because Maya looked so funny when she was crying like this.

"Why you are laughing? Do I look funny to you," she hit Jaena on her shoulder.

"It's okay if they don't care, but you have us to care about you, now hurry up and get up, we have to go," Jaebin said without looking at her.

His word gave her some motivation and comfort. She got up and finally decided to complete this mission and let them go from her life. The chaos had finally settled, and they set off in the direction they had been searching for. With each step, their anticipation grew as they walked toward the cliff's end. As they reached the edge, a picturesque village-like place came into view, but their excitement was short-lived as they couldn't make out the details.

"What's that place?" Minho asked, his curiosity piqued.

"This place isn't even on Google Maps," Daehyun chimed in, adding to the mystery.

Jaebin looked to Maya for a decision. "We should go down there," she said with conviction, and they all agreed, setting off to find a way down.

As they approached the village, Maya's ears were met with the sound of loud, captivating melodies. The music was even louder than before, and Maya knew they had found the place they had been searching for.

"This is it," Maya said confidently.

Without hesitation, they all entered the village, their hearts filled with anticipation. The village looked like it was in the best condition, with fresh pots, flowers, clothes, and water, as if someone had been living there recently. But to their surprise, they found no trace of any living beings.

As they searched every nook and cranny of the village, they all removed their hoodies due to the heat, except Maya. She remained covered, engrossed in her search for answers.

"I found no one here. Should we go back?" Daehyun said, feeling frustrated.

Seola emerged from a house, her face etched with determination. "But before we go, I need answers. Why do all things look like someone was using them? And even there was a baked biscuit on this house."

Their quest had led them to an abandoned village with no signs of life, yet everything seemed like it had been used just moments ago. The mysteries of the village were just beginning to unravel, and they were determined to find out what had happened there.
