Building the base

I ordered Jana and others to explore every corner of the island, while I ordered Jenny to build a shelter for the animals.

With this, the base should be the safest; this is not just mere talk; the "girls" were helping Hannah overcome her trauma while others cleaned the whole mansion.

Sebastian showed me all around the mansion. I was amazed at the backyard, where he has an Airbus H160 VIP helicopter, which is one of the most expensive helicopters.

and an MH-6 Little Bird helicopter that was a little "gift" from his friend, and lastly, a small business jet, I was already amazed at what he got from the backyard, yet he still has more from the garage.

At the large garage, there was 5 motorcycle that was his "toys," a Lamborghini, and a bulletproof car. I was too stunned to speak: "Young master, this is all yours from now on; an old man like me can't use it now, and it is also part of the deal we made."

"This will change a huge thing from this base."

There was also a yacht on the deck we saw yesterday; it was also his. I was still amazed at how rich a billionaire is.

And this is just a part of his property; just imagine if all of his property were here. It was already lunchtime, so we went to the kitchen to eat.

Steff asked me what my next plan was now that we are isolated from the apocalypse and the humans. We are a small group consisting of at least 250 survivors, half of whom were soldiers and half civilians.

We still lack many things: weapons, medicine, electricity, gadgets, and other stuff. Our soldiers are also still not trained enough.

I don't worry too much about the civilians since they have doctors, electric engineers, and others to help them and learn from them.

We should first take a week's vacation to clear our minds for the next operation. I tell them this, and they all agree since we are all exhausted from moving from one place to another.

The week passed by, and the civilian started farming, learning how to make medicine, taking care of the farm, etc.

The military is the one who will get busy. I told them about the little bird helicopter, and they were all joyful.

Because the Little Bird helicopter is a helicopter used for scouting, which is super useful for them, the Airbus helicopter will also be helpful to shoot in midair.

Our first operation was to loot a mall; this will give us food, gadgets, and everything else we need for daily use, and there might be a chance that they sell solar.

With the two helicopters with us, this will become much easier. We begin our operation in the morning after Roger and his team scout the nearest city using the Little Bird early in the morning.

confirming that the place was not looted, and then we moved with the medium-sized ship and the helicopter.

We were the first to get into the airbus helicopter, landing at the top of the building, where Roger's soldiers were waiting for us.

They drop us off, then immediately leave to get the others at the ship. The plan was to wait for the others to get here, then attract as many zombies as possible, then make a big fire at the entrance of the mall to prevent the zombies from going in.

When that happens, we will kill all of the zombies inside the mall. Half an hour has passed, and 50 soldiers are here.

They begin the plan by firing at the zombies using the little bird helicopter to attract them, then throw gallons of gasoline at the entrance and let it fire.

burning zombies that tried to get in and out, we charged to the third floor and started killing zombies.

We separated to kill the zombies—Lily, Nana, and Shana—and some soldiers were in charge of the third floor.

Amy and Steff were in charge of the second floor, while Ashley, I, and some soldiers were in charge of the first floor.

We forced our way downstairs, but as we keep killing zombies, many of them still come to us because of the noise.

We were on the second floor yet couldn't go to the first floor. We were surrounded from the back and the front; if this continues, we will die.

I tried some grenades on the first floor; after the explosion, I jumped from the second floor to the first floor.

The grenade gives me a way to jump so that I don't jump at a zombie, lose my balance, and get eaten. Many zombies are surrounding my left and right, back and front.

I got a grip on my katana and then sliced their heads all at once, swinging my sword only aiming at their heads. The soldiers were amazed at me.

This gives them the motivation to kill zombies at any cost. Amy and Steff also use their sword, which they are more comfortable using.

Ashley was at the stairs supporting me, and the other soldiers also came down to help me up. While I was focused on killing the zombies at my front, Ashley was killing the zombies at my back with ease.

The backup came to help Shana clear the third floor, then they helped the second floor, and after clearing the second floor, they helped us clear the first floor of the mall easily.

Without a break, we start looting the mall. With the help of a cargo hook (a cargo hook is a device suspended below a helicopter that allows the transport of external loads during flight) and a large, strong net, we are transporting what we loot using the two helicopters.

After a couple of hours, we finished looting and came back to the island at night, then slept for the next operation in the next few days.
