One day later...
Inside a darkened space, Charles reflected on past and future events:
"The boy seems to have lost all his family when he was born, leaving only his mother," he sighed and continued thinking, "A month from now, on the day of the exchange for a friendly between the academy, the students will be attacked by the Wurai. Brian and his group will save the day as good protagonists, but I know that more things will happen. Thanks to my interference, something can change. Well, I'm just going to protect Brian in case something happens to him because he will be the key to my freedom."
He let out another sigh and said, "There are six months left until the end of the arc of the first year of the academy, and five months until the beginning of the war between angels and demons. Should I interfere and prevent it? No, no, too much headache. If I interfered, I would have to choose sides. If I really wanted to participate in this war, I would destroy both sides."
Charles stopped reflecting and decided to observe Thomas again.
Inside the academy cafeteria, Thomas and Annabelle were having their meals. Annabelle, seeing that her friend was quiet today, began to speak, "Are you really not going to tell me where you went yesterday?"
Thomas answered her in a cheerful tone, "I took a trip to get stronger."
Annabelle, upon hearing her friend's answer, mentally said, "That's not what I want to know damn!!!"
Suddenly, two people approached them, asking, "Hey, can we sit here?"
Thomas and Annabelle looked towards the two people together and mentally thought, "Brian and Amanda?"
Recovering from the shock, Thomas answered them, "Sure, you can sit here."
Inside, Thomas was happy. When it was reported that Thomas had a possession-type familiar, all the students avoided him in fear that they too could be possessed. But Annabelle, on the other hand, was not comfortable with them here.
Sitting opposite each other, girls and boys were side by side, and Brian started talking to the pair, "Thanks for letting us sit here, your table looked like the only one free hahahahah."
Thomas answered him in a cheerful tone, "It was nothing, so how's your day going?"
Amanda joined the conversation by replying, "It sucks, we haven't had a combat class yet, and it's already 1 pm."
Brian heard his friend talking and replied, "The next class will be combat, with Teacher Jade, Amanda."
Annabelle became interested in the conversation and asked, "With Teacher Jade? Are you sure?"
Brian replied while nodding his head, "Yes, it looks like there will be one-on-one duels today, and she's been asked to be the instructor to motivate the students."
Realizing that his friend Annabelle was interested, Thomas would ask, "You are very happy to meet Teacher Jade, aren't you hahaha?"
Annabelle was leaning forward as she spoke in an upbeat and happy tone, "Of course!!! She's so amazing, and our innate abilities are very similar!"
Amanda hearing that, got curious and asked Annabelle, "What is your innate ability?"
Annabelle replied while a confident smile could be seen on her face, "My innate ability is gravity hehe."
Brian and Amanda widened their eyes and asked at the same time in a surprised tone, "Gravity?!"
Amanda smiled more satisfied and replied, "I'm amazing, aren't I?"
Thomas looked at the scene smiling and said, "Certainly, but be careful not to break the others' legs like you broke mine."
Annabelle replied while looking to the side, trying to hide, "Who ordered you to enter in front of my attack?"
Thomas leaned across the table and answered in a hurried tone, "What? I was following you!"
Annabelle tried to change the subject, saying, "So, Brian and Amanda, how did you two meet?"
Amanda answered Annabelle's question, "We've known each other since we were kids. Our parents were friends, and we ended up becoming friends too."
Annabelle was surprised and spoke in an encouraging tone, "Really? We also know each other since childhood. We met in an orphanage when we were 7 years old, but at 12 I was adopted, and we ended up getting separated. But we met again at the academy!"
Brian listened and looked at Thomas, thinking to himself, "Status." Suddenly, a window appeared in front of Brian, like a game, displaying information about Thomas:

After analyzing both his own and Thomas' stats, Brian was confused and asked the system a question mentally.
"System, why can't I see Thomas' species?"
The system heard his question and answered:
"It is an unknown species, sir. Something that was not created by the creator."
Brian's eyes widened, and he asked the system another question:
"But didn't you tell me that no one has the power to create except the creator?"
The system replied:
"Yes, sir. That seems to have been true until today. Whatever this boy named Thomas is, I can say with certainty that he is not human."
Brian asked again:
"Why?"
The system sighed and said in a tired tone:
"If he was human, his species would be (human/????????). Do you understand, my lord?"
Brian didn't answer and looked back at Thomas, who was talking to Amanda and Annabelle. He wondered to himself, "Who are you really, Thomas?"
